So, I am going to make my own little "Mission" of sorts, and I would like 1/2 Jedi to accompany my new character! This is not an official mission, and no credit will go towards your faction, but I write for the interest of fun and developing a character. This thread will not have any PvP in it, we will be controlling our own opposition, but I mainly intend for this to be something of an intro/IC recruitment of my character into the Jedi Order.
Mission Explanation:
For some time now, my character, Saionelle Sienturi, has been living homeless; However, living as the unseen and forgotten, he has the opportunity to see the corruption and evil that is hidden from just about everyone else. Confused about his identity, driven by a simple need to survive and find a new family, Saionelle has taken matters into his own hands. Unfortunately, his lack of knowledge and understanding of the greater Galaxy has left him relatively unfamiliar and, in all honesty, over his head.
A local Crime ring on the industrial planet of Vandyne has been utilizing this particular city to move slaves and rare and exotic alien species to buyers across the Galaxy. The shipyards have all the proof one really needs, but due to a corrupt few greasy palms, the criminal activity all but exists. Saionelle's meddling has gotten him into a fair bit of trouble recently though, and bounty hunters have been looking for the meddlesome homeless man interfering with business. One/Two Jedi have gotten word via an anonymous citizen of not only the supposed criminal activity, but also of the vigilante in trouble.
The mission:
- Swoop in just in time to save Saionelle from an assassination attempt from the bounty hunters.
- Discover the full plot of a massive shipment being sent to an anonymous wealthy buyer.
- Thwart the shipment, and bring in the ring leader.
- Ultimately, realize that Saionelle needs guidance in order to find the light side of the Force, and recruit him to the Jedi.
For you guys joining me on this mission, you may not officially help your Faction, but recruiting a Jedi to the Faction will look Great ICly! As well as that, you may very well find that I am a consistent writer that you can count on to perform Faction Sanctioned missions with in the future!
For me on the other hand, this is the perfect method of bringing in my character to the Jedi Order. Saionelle's lack of experience in the Force should bring him into the Jedi Order as an Initiate, and with any luck, I will be able to find a consistent RPer to unofficially/ICly take Saionelle under his tutelage of the rights and wrongs that comes with wielding the Force, and sway him to the light side.
