Greetings all.

I'm Ten, a big fan of Star Wars and I was browsing the net searching for a good RP site, and this one seems alright. I would like to warn anyone who reads this that I have lived the majority of my life in France, and thus my English may not always be correct and some words may be spelled wrong. Feel free to correct me if so, I do not mind.

Right, down to business. Normally I am very much orientated towards an "evil" character or group, and my "Star Wars lore" is mainly on the Sith and their many incarnations in Star Was history. However, to change things around and make them more interesting for me, I was thinking of playing an Imperial Officer who defected after the Emperor was killed by the Sith to the Alliance and Jedi Order. Would this be possible? If so, I presume I have to go through some sort of training after I have written up my character? I have browsed through the forums and seen where I can apply for training, but I am just wondering if I have to go through some sort of "initiation".

See, a Jedi/Sith PC would have a Master to guide them around, I expect. Does a military character such as an Officer have a Commander to do the same? Or would that Commander be an NPC?

Sorry if the answers to my questions are hidden away in obvious places around the forum, and thanks in advance to whoever answers them.

You might want to discuss being a former Imperial officer with the faction leader, which I believe is Sreeya. She hasn't been active in a couple days, so you might want to go to Jackdaw. I don't think it will be a problem though. Have you read into the timeskip that's happening? You character will have went from Empire to Alliance to indie, though it would make sense for him to join a rebel faction- and those will be popping up post-skip.

All factions have a rank system as far as I'm aware. The commander could be a PC or an NPC depending on the circumstances I believe, but you'll always need permission from a PC with a higher rank than you.

Yes, I've just read about this time skip. I guess I'll have to join the Imperial Knights cell and fight on for a new Empire. How big is the time skip? A few years? Because if it isn't a "short" leap, my char could end up a bit too old for my liking. I'll need to rewrite his biography if that's the case.

Ten years is far too long, will have to edit my character's biography.

Yeah, Leroy is a die hard Imperial loyalist, who has a reason to hate the Sith. In fact, the only thing he has left in life is to serve and continue serving the Empire. I'm hoping that may change, and am hoping he may thaw out with encounters with other characters to eventually become a more caring and emotional man. Of course, I've also left the possibility of him giving into his anger and actually joining the Sith, if they manage to manipulate him well enough.

All in all, I think he's going to be quite fun to play as xD.

And on the subject, I realize the Imperial Knights are forming a sort of "Empire in exile", a remnant if you will, but who is the de facto Emperor? Is there an Emperor? Because from what I gather, the Imperial Knights want the Sith gone to continue the Empire's reign and sit the Emperor on the throne, but do we have an Emperor? From what I've read, we have an Imperial Knight Commander (or whatever the title is xD) but I haven't seen a mention of an Emperor. It would make more sense to me for them to name a true Emperor to lead them and take back the throne, rather than fighting for the throne, getting it, and then choosing an Emperor.

But I may be missing something, I haven't the time to read through every aspect of this forum xD.

Wookiecookies? Sounds quite suspicious to me lol. I mean, Wookies aren't the alien I'd use to name a food product... xD.

You'd have to discuss such thing's with Vulpes, TAC or Castiel (whom is gone). TAC will answer your question the fastest and all that crap.

But as far as I know on the matter we're fighting to regain the Empire and to get rid of the Sith. And there's no Emperor to my knowledge.

Welcome! While I cannot aid you with the Imperial side, I will say one thing; you have NO obligation to age your character after the time skip. Either you do or you don't, it's entirely your choice. Only one of my characters will age, as the rest aren't ready for it; so don't panic and change everything you've written because of it.

Any other questions feel free to ask away; PM or VM. And if you fancy some RP I've got a few characters and I'm always willing to roleplay ^^

Sreeya hasn't been active. Talk to Rom, the current/co Sith Faction Leader. Your character plot idea will need to be approved by Rom before moving forward with it.
