GELLAN
There are stories of people who are skilled with those around them. People who work the crowd. People who have a natural gift to interact with those who pass by. Those stories make what my kind can do seem like the work of the gods. I am a Zeltron, and my name is Gellan. Its often thought that people who work for the Cartel are evil, immoral - maybe even psychotic, egotistical, murderous bastards. Its true that there are some of us who do that. But some of us are just products of our environment. I know, I know, I know its not an excuse for breaking the so-called 'law'. But let's have a look at that for a second. The law? What is it? Who makes it? Who enforces it? What are its limit? Newsflash, mate. This is Hutt Space. And if you're a part of the Cartel. Your word is law. I've been on the Cartel's radar ever since I got into the bad habit of playing about in certain computer systems around my homeworld of Nar Shadaa - yes, not born on Zeltros. Get over it. Admittedly I chose the wrong system at one point, and may have accidentally stumbled onto the personal server of a relatively important Cartel figure. Luckily the Cartel, rather than following the traditional path of blowing my head across the sidewalk, offered me a job. So thats what I do now. I manage, codify, collate, collect, infiltrate, cripple, create, and peek into various computer systems. If it has an on or an off switch, I can get into it. If I keep this up, the Cartel may actually pay me for this one day, but for now; I do jobs and get paid what I'm given. You could say that by doing this, I'm doing my part to keep my home safe. Anyway.... I'm damn good at what I do. The Hutts have set me up in a little shopfront in the Casino district with a pretty decent set of kit. Perks, of course, of being in the Casino district is the Casinos. The women. The bars. The women. Did I mention the women? Remember those natural talents I mentioned? Haha. If you know anything about Zeltron physiology you'll know that its rarely a lonely night for little ol' me. What can I say? Hackin' and knockin' boots. It's a tough life for a Zeltron on Nar Shadaa... |
