Edits made! Let me know if it is sufficient and we may continue onward. @Faded Truth @Gian Greydragon @Axym
I don’t see why he should be able to. This was already a 2v3, and we’re nearing the end of the fight. Sorry, but that’s a no from the GA side.@One For Sorrow is asking if he can join the thread?
@Faded Truth I have more to say about your post, but seeing as Markus’ grenade interrupted H5 the previous turn, those last two Lullaby shots weren’t actually fired — he isn’t out of ammo.
That’s true you can’t interrupt and interrupt; but the “new information” or “interrupt” in this case is Markus throwing the grenade — remember, it’s still going to take two seconds before it explodes (as Frag grenades have a four second timer). This is why H5 changed his direction upon seeing the grenade toss and then changed his original set of actions. Interrupting an interrupt in this case would be H5 doing something to prevent Markus from throwing the grenade in the first place. Not only that, but you’ve already posted and confirmed Mithias’ previous post. His actions can’t be addressed for changes, so you can’t argue that he shouldn’t have been able to change his direction and actions now.I disagree, the grenade was timed as the Droid pressed his attack and was set to explode prior to his arrival of cover. So these movements that H5PAD makes occur prior to his ability to aim. In fact it would be H5PAD that is doing too much as he is redirecting a leftward approach into rightward just as a grenade is thrown and also attempting to re calibrate his aim on a heavy pistol with poor recoil and accuracy.
You can’t interrupt an interrupt. The shared time occurs as The droid is moving to his westward angle for the first cover to shoot at Markus.
I’m...not quite sure what you’re disagreeing with now, if you’re agreeing with Mithias’ post. Shared time is always constant and means both parties are acting at the same time. Markus drawing his pistol after throwing the grenade would happen at the same moment H5 began walking a different direction, and H5 doesn’t need to readjust his aim since he is already pointing his Lullaby at Markus. I’m saying the first shots from both parties would happen at the same time, and therefore Markus wouldn’t be able to shoot all four rounds while simultaneously rolling himself over to completely avoid H5’s shots. No you misunderstood, I’m not challenging his actions. In fact there is nothing really faulty in the post. It’s the timing that’s disrupted. As the grenade is thrown and set to explode prior to his ability to get to cover which is his basis and written prior to his ability to fire the initial shots that were interrupted. Hence shared time starts at that moment, so he would be redirected his movements while attempting to fire a higher recoil blaster on the move. I’m stating that movement would be longer and less accurate than Markus firing his more stable pistol on H5PAD. Hence therefore the advantage stays with Markus.
H5 doesn’t have to completely change his aim just because he’s now advancing right instead of left. He’s still facing Markus throughout, who is stationary on the ground. That’s where you are misintepteting, the droids initial aiming was based on his leftward movement after Cover, an action that was interrupted. Hence Markus is aiming prior.
