I don't think there will ever be an common ground in this argument. Americans like their football, the rest of the world likes their football.

I prefer soccer. More activity and there isn't a halt to the game every 10 seconds.

This is a tough question. American Football only has one name, while soccer/football goes by two names. Soccer deserves the name more because it actually requires the use of feet. On the other hand, what would you call American Football besides football?

In the end, I decided to flip a coin and soccer is now football and American football is nameless.
