Which of u guys think should really have the name Football. The American football game with the round pointed edges football of the kicking football black and white checkered game.

American football is the only place where "football" does not refer to soccer. AF is pretty much a toned down version of Rugby, so I thing "Football" should only refer to soccer.

Well I am American so of course my vote goes to American Football. Don't get me wrong though I will watch Soccer(International Football) when it is on; but the NFL season is probably the most enjoyable 20 weeks of the year for me.

EDIT: Well some years, I am a Bears fan so I had a rough ending to the regular season this year.

Same here to bad it going to end soon. That reminds me the game last night broncos vs. chargers. The chargers were tearing them apart I didn't get to watch all of it but the last score I saw was 38 - 13

I understand that; but in the US real football is not as popular as American Football. I guess that is why the name change in the states.

Hurling is the best sport ever.

It's only played in Ireland, and it's involve a bunch of people running around with hockey sticks and hitting a baseball that people can pick up and just throw around. They usually use the sticks to hit each other.

Rugby is very entertaining, sometimes it is on really late on ESPN 2.
