While Poffo spoke Klied took the time to tear off a scrap of fabric from his shirt and make a makeshift bandage for his arm. As his partner played the tough guy as always the hunter smiled and shook his head. "Let's not try too hard to make it fair." He joked, then handed the brawler his brass knuckles and DC-17. He figured Poffo would probably need them for their final showdown. "Like I said I'd prefer to take him alive. But if he manages to back you into a corner do what you gotta do. I won't be too broken up about it." Klied knew Poffo didn't share his reservations about killing sentients, but he hoped he realized that a target taken alive meant a higher bounty. And that meant a higher cut for the brawler as well.

As the elevator reached their destination Klied drew his blaster and cautiously led the way out into the open. The pair found themselves in the middle of a massive junkyard, the likes of which you could only find on a ecumenopolis like Coruscant. Piles of scrap, destroyed vehicles and other junk were piled hundreds of feet high. Droid operated cranes were lifting up great clusters of twisted metal and dropping them into enormous furnaces to be melted down. The sounds of screeching metal and belching fire were so loud as to be nearly deafening. Klied squinted and grit his teeth in displeasure as he crept through the labyrinthine junk piles. "Keep your head on a swivel!" He shouted to Poffo over the roar of the heavy machinery as he searched for their quarry. "T'lol could be-"

The hunter was cut off as the two men were suddenly buffeted by a powerful gust of wind. Klied heard the telltale sound of an engine powering up, followed by a rusted and scuffed red and grey painted Firespray attack craft hovering around one of the massive piles of junk and turning to face them. As two floodlights switched on and painted them in bright white light the hunter's eyes went wide with fear. "Anywhere..." He finished in a low and likely inaudible voice under the roar of the ship.

Suddenly a hearty deep laughter could be heard over the ship's intercom. "You want me so bad Sauvage?" T'lol's voice echoed out across the junkyard. "Here I am!" Klied cursed and dove for cover as the Firespray unleashed a barrage of heavy laser fire on the ground in front of them and made a line right for the two men.

With a severely injured foot, the best Poffo could do was hobble and hope for the best. The medium cannon blasters raining fire caused explosions and a spray of debris with every impact. It was the impact that saved Poffo's rump as it provided cover. Poffo managed to avoid the explosions and the debris, save for a few relatively harmless glancing blows that caused some minor scrapes. At this point, minor scrapes were a welcomed change. In the metal and junkyard carnage being sprayed about with every shot, Sauvage was able to find a tall hill of trash with a large, empty shipping container tucked on the backside of the hill. He made his way inside to hide. A direct hit on the container might spell the end for him, but other than that, he should be relatively safe.

Sauvage could hear T'lol's ship circling. Either Klied was dead o T'lol had lost him too. Either way, the gangster wasn't content to just leave and get away- he wanted Sauvage dead, and probably the bounty hunter too. Poffo looked at his wrist, the comlink he took off of Shaggy's corpse was still there. "Ooooh, yeah! Why don't you step out of that ship and face me like a man!" Poffo shouted into the comlink. "You want me so bad? Let's do it the old fashioned way, yeah!"

Poffo's comlink crackled before T'lol responded. "Damn you, Sauvage! They told me you were dead, but who do I see chasing me!"

"Oooh, well, every time you think you have all the answers, yeah....I change the questions."

"You always ran your mouth too much, Sauvage," T'lol replied. Sauvage could sense it was through clenched teeth. "But that will no longer be your problem because you'll be dead soon."

"You talk a big game for...." Poffo was cut off by the sound of the ship's cannons. It was relatively close. Poffo hoped he was spraying and praying and not that he had found and disintegrated Klied.

"You were saying, Sauvage?"

Poffo took a peek outside. He could still hear the Firespray, but he couldn't see it. "I was saying how much of a wuss you are for not handling your business face to face."

T'lol just laughed, on the other hand, and continued searching. Poffo could barely walk. His brass knuckles and little blaster wouldn't fair well against T'lol's ship. He had to hope Klied was alive and was in position to do something with that ship.

With the initial dive Klied just barely managed to avoid T'lol's line of fire. As the ship swooped by the hunter immediately pushed himself to his feet and scrambled forward through the scrap, looking for any shelter he could find. The Firespray turned as it locked onto him and hovered forward, unleashing another deadly barrage of blaster fire. This time Klied escaped by running into the hull of a destroyed freighter.

Blaster fire pierced through the rusted durasteel, hitting the ground around Klied but fortunately not hitting him. All the hunter could do was press himself into a corner and cover his head with his arms, praying T'lol didn't hit him with a lucky shot. He didn't, and Klied breathed a sigh of relief as he heard the Firespray swoop off to investigate elsewhere. Slowly the hunter picked himself up and looked at the destruction around him. The freighter had nearly been reduced to a skeleton with all the holes punched through it. Moving slowly and cautiously so as not to reveal himself to T'lol again Klied crawled out of the ship.

Making his way up a mound of scrap the hunter peered around a corner and quickly pulled back again as the Firespray flew past. Slowly he peaked out again and examined the battlefield. It looked like T'lol was just flying around and shooting at random, most likely at any sign of movement. Klied knew that neither he nor Poffo had the firepower to bring down the ship. His Westar was good, but it wasn't that good. No, if they were going to bring down T'lol they'd need to get creative.

Taking a few moments to look around Klied's eyes fixed on one of the cranes nearby. He looked between it and the Firespray, then grinned. "You still alive Sauvage?" He asked into his comlink. "If you are... I need you to do me one more favor. I need you to keep T'lol occupied for just a few minutes. I think I've got our ace in the hole..." Without explaining the hunter slowly crept down from his perch, beginning to make his way towards the crane.

"You still alive Sauvage?" Poffo heard Klied say over his comlink. "If you are... I need you to do me one more favor. I need you to keep T'lol occupied for just a few minutes. I think I've got our ace in the hole..."

The brawler was glad to hear Klied's voice. He had no idea if he had been blown to bits, if he was alive, or anything in between. Poffo had no idea what the bounty hunter's ace could be, but Poffo knew he would take great pleasure in screwing with T'lol for a bit. "Oooooooh, yeeeeah!" Poffo screamed into the comlink. "I would love to play a little cat and mouse with my old boss, yeah. Especially when he thinks he's the feline, but yet a rodent he will be, yeah!"

The old shipping container that Poffo had taken refuge in was pretty beaten up and rusted out. He started trying to poke some peepholes out of the rust as he started messing with his former fight promoter. "I heard back in your prime, you were quite the fighter yourself, T'lol," Poffo told him. "The age has really gotten to you, yeah. You used to be a bad, bad boy. But you're just a shell, yeah, a shell of what I heard stories about."

Poffo could hear him growling on the other end. "Poke that muscle-brained head of yours out and see what's left of you..."

"Why don't you land that ship, get out, and face me like a man, yeah," Poffo said. "We'll go hard and fast, until one don't last, yeah!"

T'lol snorted. "Don't mistake my intelligence as physical weakness, Macho. Work harder, not smarter. Where's your friend? Have I managed to kill at least one of you, hmm?"

"Well, I don't know, Big Boss Man, I don't know," Poffo said. "Aaaaaaaand, you should know that I wouldn't tell you if I did!"

Poffo had poked out some holes and could see the Firespray in the distance. He was scanning, searching, but in a junkyard like this, there were organisms everywhere. Huge rats, bats, and other massive pests that made it impossible to to determine what was what. Maybe T'lol could read the heat signatures from inside the Firespray, because every so often he would blast an area and fly low over to check the wreckage. After one of his shots, Poffo said, "You're real cold, old man. Yeah, I'm freezing way over here."

T'lol was in no mood for games, but it was his best chance at getting Poffo. Getting colder....getting hotter. Poffo was toying with him, sometimes lying to lead the gangster off the trail to buy time for Klied. T'lol, however, had more brains than Poffo. Every so often, as Poffo started to speak into the comlink, T'lol fired a shot. T'lol could hear the shots and the impacts of the shots from Poffo's comlink, and Poffo did not understand what T'lol was doing. The wily old gangster was triangulating an area through sound where Poffo would have to be. Soon, T'lol had pinpointed a small area where Poffo was, and he spotted a rusted out shipping container...a perfect place to hide.

"Mr. Macho," T'lol said over the comlink. "You always put on a great show, but this is your curtain call."

Sauvage peeked through one of the holes to see the Firespray lining up a direct shot on the shipping container. Inside the Firespray, T'lol had his fingers on the cannon triggers, ready to pull.

Klied smiled as he heard Poffo's response, that was about what he expected from the brawler. His nickname was well earned it seemed. While his partner had his fun with T'lol the hunter stealthily made his way through the scrap, moving towards the massive crane. Every so often he would have to halt in his tracks and redirect himself to hide behind a mound of refuse as the Firespray passed, or duck in cover to avoid a stray laser blast. But the gangster was shooting in the dark, taking random shots. He had no idea where his prey actually was. And that combined with his growing frustration gave Klied all the time he needed.

The hunter finally made it to the crane, going to the ladder and starting up. It was a long climb, taking Klied several minutes to ascend to the control booth. And that time was only extended as every so often he would need to stop moving and cling close to the ladder to avoid giving himself away to the Klatooinian searching for him. But eventually he made it to the top. There was a droid still working the controls, seemingly unfazed by the gangster firing randomly across the junkyard. "Excuse me." Klied said politely as he came up behind the machine and switched the droid off, he then moved it aside and took it's place at the control panel.

He wasn't exactly familiar with the controls, but it was straightforward enough for him to piece it together. Tentatively he began to move the levers and flip switches, and the crane responded by shifting back and forth. Klied tried to do this as stealthily as possible, a difficult task when operating heavy machinery. Thankfully T'lol was so preoccupied with Poffo he didn't even notice the arm of the crane lining up to hit him like a baseball player practicing his swing. Just as the gangster finally zeroed in on Poffo, Klied was ready to make his move.

"Alright, try running from this murglak..." The hunter said to himself with a devious grin, and hit the lever. The arm of the crane swung around just as the Firespray was letting loose, smashing into the ship's hull and utterly destroying it's port wing. The ship fired as it spun wildly in the air, hitting the cargo container Poffo was hiding in and blasting half of it clear off. Fortunately it was the half the brawler wasn't standing in. As the Firespray swooped haphazardly through the sky, struggling to stay in the air, Klied cheered and pumped his fist in the air. "Yeah! That's what I'm talking about!" He shouted joyously as he watched the ship go down in a scrap heap some distance away, followed by an explosion and a great plume of fire and smoke. The hunter then hastily made his way out of the control booth and down the ladder. Despite everything he was still hoping his quarry survived the crash, or at least his remains were still in an identifiable state. He also knew it would probably be prudent to get to the target before Poffo did, lest the brawler seize defeat from the jaws of victory by killing his mark.

Poffo's eyes grew wide as he saw the Firespray lining up for a direct shot on the shipping container. From the peephole, he saw the arm of the crane smash into the ship just as the ship fired a blast into the shipping container. The arm nudged the ship just enough to blast the opposite end of the container, blowing the roof sky high. The concussion of air sent Poffo flying against the back of the container, and Poffo could tell immediately that one of his eardrums had ruptured. This bounty hunting thing was going to require a membership at a bacta facility.

He shook the cobwebs, but he was dazed and confused. He exited the container to see a towering pillar of fire and smoke coming from what used to be the Firespray. It was a fair ways off, but he knew that Klied had come through in the clutch. Poffo stumbled out of the container, and to his surprise was a wrecked speeder bike missing some parts that looked...fairly unessential. He gave it a rip and it didn't start. Twice, no start. Third time was a charm, however, and while it didn't purr, the speeder bike did cough and wheeze to life. Poffo pushed the accelerator levers forward, and it lurched and bogged, before finally jolting forward with a plume of black smoke trailing behind him.

Sauvage was unsure if he was concussed- clearly he was- or if the bike's rudders were keeping him from flying straight- they clearly were as well. Sauvage banged off every possible piece of junk in the yard, bruising his legs and arms. He almost decapitated himself once trying to ride under an unsalvageable wing of a probe scow. Luckily, the bike was not in condition to do anything but plod along, nowhere near top speed. Sauvage, dazed and confused, still had enough sense to know he wanted to get his hands on T'lol. The gangster found himself thrown from the Firespray. He was laying in a heap of smoldering metal that had been ejected from the insides of the ship. He was largely unconscious, not recognizing that his skin was frying on the remains of the Firespray. Poffo jumped off the speeder, grabbed T'lol with two hands, one around his neck and the other by his pants and tossed him down a hill of debris. T'lol rolled down, his head and body bouncing as he tumbled to the bottom of the heap.

Poffo slipped the brass knuckles on his hands and tried to navigate his way down the hill, but he was loopy. He fell and tumbled himself multiple times on the way down. He finally made his way to the bottom and mounted T'lol who was trying to come to. Poffo slapped him across the face to wake him up. T'lol snorted and his eyes could barely open. Still, he recognized the hulking figure on top of him.
"Finish me, Poffo," he wheezed. "Kill me. Don't let this bounty hunter take me in. I'd rather you kill me than what The Commish will do. Take me out, Poffo. One fighter to another, huh? Let me leave some honor."

He was serious. This was not a case of someone trying to play reverse psychology. He wanted to die. He didn't want whatever the Commissioner had in store for him. He was pleading to be killed. Poffo wanted to kill him, too. Seemed like a win-win. Poffo pulled back and cracked the brass knuckles with a sharp shot to the jaw. Poffo wasn't bringing the thunder like normal on account of his concussion and injuries. Still, the shot blasted teeth out of T'lol's mouth. The Klatoonian spit teeth and blood on the metal scrapyard of a floor. "That's it, my boy, Poffo. Keep 'er coming."

Poffo took a deep breath and tried to focus. He felt like one solid shot to the temple could end this ordeal for the both of them. He raised his fist back and narrowed his eyes, trying to cut the double vision to just one. Just one solid punch...

Klied was slower than Poffo getting to the crash sight. The hunter arrived just in time to watch the brawler hurl T'lol down a scrap pile and then stumble after him. Their quarry was clearly down for the count, but Sauvage just couldn't seem to help himself. "God dammit..." Klied cursed through clenched teeth and pushed himself to sprint the rest of the way, drawing his blaster as he did so. Poffo had been an indispensable ally up until this point, but the hunter would be damned before he let the man steal his prize.

Klied reached the pair just as Poffo was winding up for what would likely be a fatal blow with those brass knuckles. The hunter stopped in his tracks and raised his weapon, aiming it at the brawler. "Sauvage!" He shouted viciously. "Don't. You. Dare." Klied's face was cold as stone. He hadn't gone through all of this just to have his bounty killed at the finish line. He'd knock the brawler on his rear with a stun blast if he had to.

T'lol turned his head, looking bleary-eyed at Klied before turning back to Poffo. "Come on Poffo! One more! Finish it! Don't let me die like a dog!"

"Oh boo hoo the ruthless gangster reaps what he sows. You knew this was a risk from the moment you chose this life T'lol." Klied shouted back without an ounce of sympathy. "You actually managed to get away from the Cartels and you went straight back into the business. You're getting exactly what you asked for." He focused his attention back on Poffo. "We had a deal Sauvage, don't kark things up now because this gutter trash doesn't want to get what's coming to him." Klied was fairly certain he was quick enough on the trigger to take Sauvage down before he could kill T'lol, but he'd rather the brawler choose to honor their agreement and not end the gangster's life.

"Sauvage! Don't. You. Dare," he heard Klied say behind him. Poffo could see the look in the bounty hunter's eyes. He'd stun him cold if he thought Sauvage was going to kill T'lol.

"Come on Poffo! One more! Finish it! Don't let me die like a dog!" the Gangster pleaded. Sauvage would love to get his revenge now, no question about that.

"Oh boo hoo the ruthless gangster reaps what he sows. You knew this was a risk from the moment you chose this life T'lol. You actually managed to get away from the Cartels and you went straight back into the business. You're getting exactly what you asked for." Poffo knew what this was about. He was also pleading with Poffo, but doing it through his talk with Jalir. "We had a deal Sauvage, don't kark things up now because this gutter trash doesn't want to get what's coming to him."

Poffo still had his massive fist raised, the brass knuckles with a direct line to T'lol's left temple. He could end it. He took some long, slow looks between Klied and T'lol contemplating. He knew that he would get stunned if he threw the punch. Maybe he would get the punch off, maybe not. Maybe he was sober enough to connect clean and kill him. Maybe not. Either way, he was getting stunned. But, more than that, there was this business about T'lol answering to people meaner than Poffo. That was some consolation. Poffo slowly lowered his fist and patted Jalir roughly across the face, more demeaning than painful. "The bounty hunter has a point, yeah," Poffo said. "Blasting your brains right now would be too easy...for you."

T'lol clenched his teeth in rage and pain. "Kark you, Poffo! You've never done me right! Just one time, do me a favor! I was good to you!"

Poffo stood up quickly, partly raising Jalir off the ground as he rose and then dropped him with a painful thud on the scrap metal floor. "Good to me? What did you say? Good to me? You sent two of your goons to kill me, yeah, and you were good to me?" Poffo asked. "You tried to kark me, T'lol! I don't lose to nobody for no reason! You don't ask a fighter to lose! Not a real fighter!"

T'lol tried to yell back, but just coughed blood on his shirt. He spit out what didn't exit at first. "You're a fool, Macho! A damned fool! We could have been rich! I could have made you rich."

"Ain't no amount of credits worth being a fight-losing punk! That ain't me!" Poffo spit on T'lol who couldn't turn his head to avoid it. His green forehead became slobbered with a massive wad of Poffo's saliva. "I may be a fool. And I may not be rich. But I am the best damn fighter you know, and my reputation won't be shot to hell because of you, yeah!" Poffo was still standing over him, and gave him a painful, but relatively harmless kick to the ribs as he stepped away.

Poffo took a few steps back, still dazed and concussed. Limping and bleeding. He turned his head over his shoulder and looked back at Klied for a long while before he said, "He's all yours, Mr. Famed Bounty Hunter Man."

Klied let out a sigh of relief and lowered his weapon, glad that Poffo had decided to let a cooler head prevail. The brawler was certainly rough around the edges, even for the hunter, but he was a damn good partner. Klied nodded to Poffo as he limped past, giving him a conciliatory smile. He then approached his long sought after bounty. T'lol growled angrily as he rolled over onto his hands and knees, wiping the spit from his face before looking up at Klied. "No way! No way I'm getting brought down by some punk like you!" He shouted, and charged at the hunter with all he had left. Klied just raised his blaster and fired a stun shot, throwing the Klatooinian on his back.

He stepped over the gangster and looked down at him with a neutral expression. Amazingly the brute still wasn't out. "It may not be mutual but you have my respect T'lol. I want you to know that." Klied said, and gave him one more blast to the chest, putting him down for the count. He holstered his Westar and knelt down to pick up his bounty and throw the man over his shoulder. It was quite the feat with all the pain he was in, but he managed it.

Leaving the wreckage behind Klied fell in beside Poffo, both men, battered and bloodied, making their way towards the junkyard's exit. "Thanks again for all the help." The hunter grunted through clenched teeth as he lumbered along. "I appreciate it. You can rest assured I'll be holding up my end of the bargain. Once I've collected my bounty and been admitted to the guild I'll put up the credits to smuggle us out of here safely-" Klied stopped as he just realized his mistake. Admitted to the guild. He never told Poffo that this was his first bounty. He had promised Sauvage a place in the guild himself when he wasn't even a member yet. He swallowed nervously and kept walking forward, eyes wide open and facing down as he prayed that the brawler didn't pick up on that slip of the tongue.

The brawler froze and stood still and silently for a moment. He was concussed. He was in pain. He was ready to collect and relax. However, A couple of things really pricked him the wrong way about what bounty hunter just said. The so-called famed bounty hunter at that.

"Once I've collected my bounty and been admitted to the guild I'll put up the credits to smuggle us out of here safely-" is what Klied said. His bounty? Klied would be a grease stain inside a seedy Coruscant nightclub if it wasn't for Poffo right now. In fact, he would have found his end multiple times over. But it's his bounty?

But that was greed. Poffo understood it. He would get his cut. He had no doubt about that. But it was the dishonesty. Once he gets admitted to the guild. When they first met, Klied assured him that he would "fit right in" and that he would "put in a good word for him" to the guild. Klied led him to believe that he already had some standing in the guild to do so. Come to find out, he wasn't just earning his chops. He didn't have any chops at all. Poffo turned around and walked up to Klied, nose to nose. "Two pieces of business to deal with, Mr. Faaaaamed Bounty Hunter." He put an emphasis on "famed" and held the word out for effect. "First things first. When you say your bounty, I seem to remember that we made a deal for it to be our bounty. I know my cranial brain is sort of wibbly-wobbly at the moment, but as memory serves, I was to get 30%." He put a big, stout, stubby finger to Klied's chest. "And I expect my 30%, yeah. Maybe your brain has gone wibbly-wobbly too, but I told you way back at the start, if you kark me, I'll bust you up real good, and feel good about doing it, yeah!"

Poffo leaned in and his narrowed. "I'm going to ask this question, and this is your one chance to give me an honest answer or it's going to be bad, Famed Bounty Hunter. It's going to be real bad, yeah. How much pull exactly do you have in the Bounty Hunter Guild?"

Klied stepped back as Poffo got in his face, biting his lip. He understood the brawler's anger completely, he'd probably feel the same way if their roles were reversed. He had meant no harm in his lie of omission before, but still, harm he had done. That needed to be rectified, preferably before Poffo tried to do to him what had been done to T'lol. The hunter sighed.

"That's not... You'll get your 30% of course, I didn't mean to imply I was going to cut you out." He started out by assuring the brawler he'd get what he was owed. "As for the Guild... I'm not a member. I've met a few bounty hunters, and one of them I made a pretty good impression with. She encouraged me to take up the profession." Of course Aska was a newly minted bounty hunter herself when she did so. "You need to bring in a notable bounty to get admittance. That's all. And I can help you do that easily enough. We bring T'lol in, I'm made into a member of the Guild, I help you bring a bounty in, you're a member of the Guild. It's not complicated." He lowered his head, feeling no small amount of shame over this whole situation.

"I... I'm sorry Poffo. I should have had all my cards on the table from the start." He admitted in a low voice. "You're a good guy and I shouldn't have deceived you like that." He looked back at the brawler. "But we're a good team. We should be working together." He was being sincere as well. After all they had been through capturing the gangster Klied could see how valuable a partner Poffo was. He was hoping this wouldn't be the last time they'd work together. He was also really hoping not to get punched again.

The brawler's gaze was intense and steady, unblinking. His stare never left Klied's eyes. His jaw was locked, and his teeth clenched tight. He was tired, and he was angry. He was trying not to take a swing as Klied came through with the truth. As the bounty hunter, or if he could even be called that yet, was apologizing, Poffo was trying to go through his options. If he pounded him here, there was a chance that he wouldn't even collect his 30%. It was for damn sure that he wouldn't have a chance at getting a head start toward a new bounty hunting career of his own. And he had to face the facts, going back to a life in the underground of Coruscant after he helped a bounty hunter take down a gangster, even a relatively small-time mob boss like T'lol, was out of the question. He wouldn't be able to wipe his own butt without looking over his shoulder in the stall. Word traveled fast in the underground, and a pit fighter who worked with a bounty hunter to take down a gangster is word that travels lightning speed around the lower levels.

The bounty hunter pivoted the conversation. "You're a good guy and I shouldn't have deceived you like that. But we're a good team. We should be working together."

That much was undeniable. They had overcome odds so long that high rollers wouldn't touch with someone else's credits. Klied was aces with blasters and could be the brains of the outfit. Poffo was street smart and could beat the brains off of nearly anybody in arm's reach. Together, they checked all the boxes of a great team. But still, as a matter of principle, Poffo felt like the wrong had to be righted.

"That much is certain, yeah," Poffo said, his eyes still intense. "That much is definitely certain. A great tag team we could be. We could be known all over the galaxy, yeah. Women, fortune, nice speeders. We could style, yeah! And we could profile, but I got to know that we're on the same page, yeah. I got to know that honesty is the modus operandi, if you dig what I'm saying, Bounty Hunter." Poffo paused and lifted his chin. "Best I can see, we have to fix this between us. Since we are business partners, we can handle it the business way. Since you're not a Bounty Hunter juuuuuuust yet, and we're both still just a couple of hoods taking down a hood, we can handle it the hood way, yeah."

Poffo lifted a brow to get a sense of what Klied may want to do. "If you want to handle it the business way, I can up my percent on the take to say...40%. That's still a great deal, yeah, as I did half the work and a majority of the risk seeing as how we kept using me for bait. Or....if you want to handle it the hood way...." Poffo tightened the brass knuckles on his massive right hand and popped his knuckles. "You shut your eyes before I shut them night-night with one free shot to the jaw. You'll wake up with a hangover like you've never experienced." Poffo shrugged. "Your choice."

Ah yes, there it was. Klied had expected a demand for an increase in his cut. Poffo made a reasonable argument. He had involved himself in a great deal of the hunt and taken no small risk in doing so. His current condition was proof of that. Still as a matter of principle Klied felt the urge to haggle the point with him. He had set up the operation, came to Poffo and made the offer in the first place. And he was the one who would be paying their way off Coruscant, which would cut significantly into his own earnings. He didn't appreciate being threatened either.

"Haven't you punched me enough?" He asked the brawler in an irritated tone. Still he just ended up sighing and shaking his head. It wasn't worth it. Getting the job done was what really mattered, the payment had never been his point of focus. "Fine, sure 40%. Whatever..." He walked past Poffo and smirked a little to himself. Ultimately the joke was still on him, Klied already had more money than he could ever spend. He imagined the brawler would be pretty angry when he found that out as well.

"Come on 'partner', we've got a bounty to collect." The hunter called back dryly. Despite everything he was still in fairly good spirits. His first bounty hunt was a success, he had gained what he suspected would become a very close ally. And that funk that had been nagging at him was entirely gone. As the adrenaline started to dissipate and the soreness in his limbs exacerbated he felt an immense sense of satisfaction. This had been a good hunt. He could see himself doing this for a career. Sentients were undoubtedly the best prey there was. He reasoned with himself so long as he picked his targets well, so long as he didn't go after anyone that didn't have it coming, he could keep doing this. Whether it was right or wrong, he was a bounty hunter for the long haul now.
