"For nearly three generations, Systech has been at the forefront of the adrenals market, providing much-needed aid everywhere from the doctor's table," the screen changed to show a medical droid administering a Systech product to a patient "- to the battlefield." the image shifted to a soldier taking a stim before a battle "Our products remain at the forefront of the marketplace, positioning us easily for wider growth. Over the next day, we will explore the options open to use for that growth, as we expand into the Cybernetics market." the room full of holo-projections around a dark meeting table, nodded along. She closed off her camera as another member of the Systech Corporate Board spoke, and rose from her chair when it was safe to do so.

Lighting a stim, Julia went over to the floor-to-ceiling window that dominated the private office she had leased on Terminus. This planet was quite literally the back end of nowhere, occupying the final stop on the end of a hyperspace route, one of the most profitable trade spines in the galaxy.

As such, it was ideal for what they had proposed. Whilst the Systech Executives began to delve into the minutia of the details around their cybernetics expansions, Julia had other things to be getting on with. Standing, she waved forward her assistant, who had been idling by the door for the past few minutes.

"Your son, and your other associate, are here." the man stated. "Show them into my office." she replied, before walking out of the main meeting room, and into her private office. It was a large room, set in the classical style of the corporate sector that Terminus tried so hard to emulate.

Moving to her desk at the end of the room, she sat down, and waited for her guests to arrive.

Jason considered Terminus as a pigsty. The planet government tried to make the place look as something civilized, that could pass as a Core World or as part of the Corporate Sector. However, it failed miserably. Terminus was dirty, there was trash scattered everywhere. There were also several beggars on the streets, asking for money and food.

He knew that other planets, such as Coruscant, also had these types of problems, but they hid them from sight. Jason only wanted that the government of Terminus would at least be capable of doing that. He should have learned to not have his hopes too high with a backwater planet like this one.

While he waited at the waiting room for the meeting with his mother to begin, the young Hipori contemplated the reasons why she had chosen this planet. Even with it being located at the intersection of the Hydian Way and the Corellian Trade Spine, being associated with such a terrible place could damage the family’s name.

However, when the great Julia Hipori decided something, no one was capable of making the woman change her mind. Not even her family. Since Jason was certain that his mother already had planned everything and that this meeting was only a formality, he only hoped that Terminus had a good nightclub. After all, he would need a place to have fun when staying there.

His musings were interrupted by the arrival of his mother’s assistant, announcing that he could enter. Jason rose from his seat and straightened his clothes, before walking inside Julia’s office. As soon as he saw her, a smile appeared on his lips. “Hello, mom! It’s so good to see you!” he was trying to show that he missed her, in an attempt to not have her asking why he was wearing sunglasses. “How are you? It has been some time since we saw each other.”
