DISMAS ZAA FENN​

BIOGRAPHY

Born on the planet on Etti IV in 157 ABY, Dismas is the son of Kara Zaa Fenn, the boss of the Zaa Fenn Crime Family, and Crix Dolan, who is known as the 'Devil of Denon'. He was born while Kara was a prisoner of the Czerka megacorporation and spend the first few years of his life as a ward of Imperial Czerka. An executive of the Czerka Megacorporation actually named him Dismas because both his parents were known as criminals and thieves respectively.

After being rescued -or kidnapped, according to Imperial Czerka- he returned with his parents to Hutt Space where he was even taught to fire a blaster by the then aging gunslinger Preef Callo. Owning up to the legacy he was born with, that of the Zaa Fenn, Dismas does credit to his name and followed into his parents' footsteps in the galactic underworld.

Unknown to his parents, Dismas feels something of a special attachment to the Imperial Czerka CEO, Julia Hipori, and has an affectation of a holographic still with the executive holding him when he was still a baby. It is because of this affectation that he has for decades leaked intel to the Imperial Security Bureau.​

As the presumed heir of the Zaa Fenn Crime Family, Dismas has no trouble securing the aid of credit-hungry allies and as an astronavigator he is a fond sight among pirate crews. Some of these crews and other impactful people will be listed below.

Captain of a Cumulus-class Corsair called the 'Kowakian'. His crew calls him 'Tall Tulo' because -before he made captain- he was fond of telling 'tall tales' about himself and others. Always entertaining, but never exactly truthful, this weequay is a scheming and conniving bastard you should never feel comfortable enough around to trust.

STORYLINE​

Dismas Zaa Fenn was born a prisoner of the Czerka Megacorporation. After his rescue he grew up in Mos Espa, Tatooine, surrounded by criminals and naturally quickly aspired to a similar career as well. He was, after all, the heir to the Zaa Fenn Crime Family.

At age 14, Dismas had hitched a ride with a pirate to go to Etti IV. He told everyone he was going to 'make Czerka pay', but he never got that far. They tried to board an automated bulk cargoship on the hyperlane, but for some reason got locked in instead. The mugshot to the left was taken by the Sector Rangers of the planet Dressel and it had apparently cost the Zaa Fenn a tidy sum to get him released.

At age 19, he enrolled into the Hollastin Commercial Navy -which was a cartel front- and received training in astronavigation in an exchange program with the Eriadu Naval Academy. Enthused by the many stories about pirates traversing uncharted space, for he had met 'Tall Tulo' and heard the weequay's tall tales by then, he quickly found a passion for drawing holomaps. The picture to the right is of him during his time on Eriadu when he was 21 years old.

Shortly after graduation, Dismas tried his hand at an honest living in astronavigation. Unfortunately, after his first exploration mission the crew got cut to save costs between voyages. His credit statements quickly dwindling the only way out seemed to be smuggling as an independent transporter. As you can see on the left; this didn't go so well.

Due to circumstances involving his birth and failing smuggling career, Dismas eventually found himself working for the Imperial Security Bureau. Part of his work was joining the crew of pirate ship Fortune. Perhaps not altogether surprising he found the ruthlessness of pirating to be a good fit and he quickly became indispensible to the crew. Pictured to the right was Dismas attending a pirate meet on the Rings of Kafrene.
