@Arclight Mind if I have a 24 hour extension, my post is void until @Gian Greydragon posts and it's been nearly 36 hours since he even logged onto the site. Because my post is void if Gian doesn't edit his post in the next four hours or so I'm not going to be able to edit my post on time because I have to work early. By the time I get up in the morning I will have timed out for my turn.

On the other hand I have no idea where this thread is going anymore, Gian is taking a leave of absence from the site and has archived all of his characters. @Ulysses @Cainhurst Crow and myself have all expressed our desire to void the thread previously, Gian was the only one that wanted to continue but again, he's leaving the site for a time and has archived his characters. On top of that it's been three days since I originally asked him to edit his mentioning of my character's back being turned toward his character when she wasn't, I'm not even sure if he plans on making those edits or if he's already left the site.

If @Ulysses @Cainhurst Crow and myself agree to void the thread again can we just go ahead and do it without Gian, or do we need him to agree as well?​

I am confused as to why your post would be void by him not editing, but I don't know the whole situation.

I had misread something and thought he'd already made the edits to this post. He didn't and asked me to hold off until he was able to make his edits, as he needed to reevaluate how his character would attack mine. My post is void until he is able to edit his own post, then I can edit mine to reflect his edits. Basically I accidently posted before I should have.

Gian hasn't been online for over 48 hours, which means he still hasn't made his edits. I'm going to report his post just for the sake of moving things along. Assuming the admin(s) rule in my favor Gian would have 24 hours to remove any mention of Keisya's back being turned toward his character. Hopefully he can make those edits in time but the constant waiting as far as this thread is concerned is past the point of ridiculous now.

I would like to object to that last post @Ulysses, you didn't write about re-positioning yourself during your last post, and your push would have pushed me away from where you were given the nature of the attack you did, a push. As it reads now it seems like no distance was traveled, which ignores my post.

In my previous post I say he attempts to volley her mid air - as there was no response, I thought I was entitled to autohit?

Attempting to volley implies making the distance, no?

I'm not sure if this is relevant information or not but it should probably be noted that Gian archived all of his characters a few days ago. Not sure if this will impact the thread now (I am not sure what is going on here), just thought I'd pop in and say something.

He also hasn't been online since tuesday morning, so I think he's just sorta forfeited this thread. With his character archived it doesn't really matter what happens to him in this thread as it'd all be moot after the thread is over. Once @Ulysses and @Cainhurst Crow come to a conclusion concerning their current disagreement, I'm just gonna have Kesiya restrain Gian's character and have him taken away to be imprisoned once the thread is over.​

I'd be willing to let @Cainhurst Crow flee offworld somehow and the thread to be considered a Jedi victory, though I don't feel very victorious, just so the thread can end and we can all go back to our many other projects elsewhere.

This whole thing was basically a big waste for everyone. @Ulysses , I don't think I agree with your train of thought. A volley doesn't imply movement, in fact a volley implies the opposite, that you unleashed a large amount of fast attacks while keeping still. That's how I saw it at least, you swung at where I was, I jumped, you did your force push to shove me off my jumping path and I hit the ground instead of getting the high ground.

I don't even know what I'm arguing for tbh, this is pretty much won by you guys. And frankly I'm not really feeling up to fighting in this thread. If I can go, I'm gonna go. If I can't, I'll probably accept a capturing, but I'm like you guys and kinda just done with this whole mission.

I'm not even sure what the point of this thread was even for to begin with, but I still feel bad. I mean, even though we're likely to be given the win, we're just that, being given the win. I'd have much prefered actually winning it than it being dictated by time outs and prolonged waiting periods. For that I apologize to you. If @Ulysses wants to go for a capture I'm willing to pose as opposition in your rescue/escape thread. No reason to prolong that process as well.​

Cain, would you mind posting a short summary of the thread's ending or did you guys want to go a last round of posts? A brief mention of Calpernia being wounded and a team of temple guards showing up to aid the Jedi. You could say that some of the Jedi NPCs followed Calpernia if you want, but that'd just be for the sake of flavor.​
