Deadly Sin

The Venom District of Zonju V. most people would prefer not to get caught in a place like this, but for the intents and purposed of Vikki's mission, he needed to be in such a place. Hordes of Assassins lie in wait for anyone with a deep enough pocket book. Thankfully, Vikki has the pocketbook of the Hutts, though with only limited depth. This is one of the few times that Vikki would have the opportunity, to test his ability to coerce a leader of another group of people into joining him. He is an intelligent being, and he knows quite a few tricks and tactics, though he is certainly not one of the most charming of beings.

He relies on the leverages and resources available to him to make offers that some may not want to pass up. The tactic is simple and relies mostly on fear and greed. Vikki knows one of those all too well. AS to what he hears is that much like the Hutts, the assassins in this part are highly motivated by the same means. That is wealth and power. Vikki already knows a few ways in which he may be able turn their services toward the Hutts.

*Clank, clank, clank*

The short line of several slaves following Vikki are some of his more valuable hand picked slaves. Though they are certainly not his best, as those are reserved to his most loyal clients, though, they are certainly not to be passed up. They look miserable, though they are willing. By looking at them, you may find that they are actually quite sturdy for slaves, and though you may thing they would overrun Vikki in an instant, you'd be wrong. A lifetime of being a slave has moulded these slaves into the perfect specimens. They would work hard and long, but never question an order. In fact most of their bare backs are golden and smooth. These are two good signs that they work long enough for their backs to have ripened, but whipping them would hardly be necessary which only proves their compliance.

Vikki has often dabble in being an assassin, so he knows well enough how to speak these people's language, and to detect their presence would hardly be a problem if you're trained like Vikki. Although, he does have heightened sense, so maybe that's the reason he knows that a few scouts have been spying on his caravan for the past minute or so. Vikki's colleague would be wise not to do a thing when he realizes their presence. In fact, Vikki's words will soon console his worry when he finally spies their presence.

"When they're ready, they'll approach us," is Vikki's screechy reassurance.

They'd been wandering the Venom District for quite some time waiting for just this opportunity. The location of the leader of Assassins is more of a mystery than Vikki's knowledge, though if they're anything like Vikki, they would have their base of operations securely tucked away in the cliffs that border each side of Vikki's caravan. The slum-like surrounding make Vikki's wealthy appearance stand out, and it was only a matter of time before word reached the leaders of the district; that being Sin.

She is rather well known on Zonju V for her jobs, but it is time now for her to work stop working against the Hutts and rather work with them. Finally the moment Vikki has been waiting for has arrived when two assassins approach the head of the Caravan, where Vikki leads his slaves on foot. He purposely left his speeder outside the canyon as his speeder may become 'confiscated'. Though, he is willing to bargain, he still needs a rather enjoyable ride home.

The assassins have weapons drawn and plop directly in front of Vikki and his partner silently. No words. Smart, Vikki thinks. Wait for the information to come from their target before deciding what to do. in a situation like this, it's either sink or swim, and Vikki doesn't plan on sinking...

assassin's Erack thought as he saw the movement around. He hated them, we'll more there values these people would stab you in the back rather than fight you face to face. But he was over that his mission was to assist in a negotiation with these assassin and that's what he would do, he looked at his partner as he whispered to him. Replying with a nod Erack checked the area for cover, it was unknown territory which made it even more intresting but he was sure if he could get into the slum like area to the left he would stand a chance.

As he was surveying the surrounding the two dropped down in front of them, Erack looked at them weapons drawn ready to fire at us at any moment. Standing tall he waited for his partner to start talking, it was no use him talking he wasn't here to do that he was here for if things got ugly....

He could tell that his partner was less enthralled by the experience than he was, but simply ignoring his reaction may place a bit of faith in him not to do something... undesirable. Vikki smirks as he takes a step forward, "We are looking to deal. I can say that we have a few credits to spare," mentioning their leader would certainly be a mistake an would lead them to the worse of their fears and could very well get them killed very quickly. Vikki's caution was to speak without alerting them of their true intentions; At least not yet.

Vikki continues to prod at them, "Would there be someone that we can talk to about getting a big job done?"

The two assassins glance at each other and Vikki's grin became almost frightening to see. Anyone who knew him would know that Vikki being happy was often bad for everyone else. Without talking, the two assassins turn around with their backs to them, and they replace their weapons in their holsters. Vikki nods at the muscle to his left to indicate that they should follow the assassins. They weave in and out of the slums in leading them to what Vikki would assume is their base of operations. He would hope that they'd meet Sin there, but that is assuming that the empty stares from the poor wretches around them would allow them to get there in one piece.

The streets they follow bcome narrower and narrower as they are lead towards the right side of the gorge. The rocky walls were next to them and to their left dozens of onlookers reach out their hands in attempts to pick Vikki's pockets and in attempts to grab hold of the slaves. Their dirty fingers aren't of Vikki's concern, but what they grab is more of a worry for Vikki. Vikki decides to move closer to the cliff wall as he follows the pari of assassin.

"Make sure these imbeciles don't damage the merchandise. I can handle the pick pockets," Vikki orders Erack. Vikki's days on Nal Hutta taught him the very finely tuned skill of picking a pocket, and this soon became one of the skills he is well known for under ground of the great city. His untrimmed claws rip at the wrists of the individuals who think they're sneaky enough to grab one of Vikki's many treasures form his pouches. Vikki draws blood on the fingers of a younger boy who attempted to steal the half of an inventory pad that Vikki found in the dumpster of the compound he had just come from.

Vikki knows full well of the true value of his belongings, and apparently so did this child. He has been told many times before that what he was taking had no value, but as the old saying has gone, 'One man's trash is another's treasure', and Vikki has seen so many treasures thrown away by man. Vikki's ingenuity can create a bamb trigger or a door hack out of the tiny piece of technology, but no man would see that use for it by simply glancing at it. nor would they ever see them selves in a situation where they'd need that, but Vikki can see the hundreds of uses the piece of technology yields. It can even be used as a makeshift shank when the going gets tough, but some may say, 'why not just use a knife?' Vikki's response would be that a knife cannot trigger a bomb like this can.

(Sorry for late reply damn work lol)

Listening to Vikki talk to the assassin's in front of them Erack waited till they started to move. Looking around the slums it reminded him off parts of the planets that the Mandalorians had conquered people left homeless reduced to thieving and other undesirable qualities.
As some of the kids started to come closer Erack heard Vikki bark out a order to protect the slaves. Dropping back Erack looked around at some of the people coming closer, seeing a man quite tall approach Erack walked up to him.
The man was ugly as hell missing teach and the ones he did have were yellow he seemed to be a leader of the scum around here. Erack really couldn't be bothered pushing away the scum one by one so he decided to make a example of. Throwing a quick punch to his chest he felt the ribs crack, before he finished with a kick to the knee shattering it. The man fell to the ground crying, as Erack looked around at the people moving away from the slaves he gave a nod to Vikki and carried on moving forward...

The scene at the back didn't distract Vikki from the pickpockets, but most of them seemed to be preoccupied with what seems to be their leader falling at the knees of Vikki's muscle. He was certainly doing his job, but the subtlety was lacking. Vikki often liked to lead by example and that's what the man was doing, but in this situation, perhaps subtlety was needed. The pace quickened and the slaves were tripping on their shackles making quite a racket, but at least the slums were thinning out as the gained altitude into the cliff-side. The assassins moved without a single word to each other nor even glancing back at the followers, but Vikki saw that as an attempt to stay away from involvement.

This is what loyalty looks like. These are merely drones in the army of ants serving their queen. Vikki just needs to find out where this leader is. A short walk through the rocky outcrop lead them into a dimly lit cave which quickly turned into a rather complex system of security protecting a base. Here it is Vikki thought to himself. Upon entering he came into a world of inscents that he could tolerate the smells, but he would have rather not have had them present. he preferred the smells of garbage and rotting, but he would have to endure for the time being.

A few individuals with spears allowed them to pass, but soon after letting the last slave through several more bound to the originals' sides to block their escape. Vikki let that be up to his partner, while he tried to locate the one called Sin. Falling form an unknown location from the ceiling of the cave, came the Assassin he was looking for.

"Sin," Vikki adresses her in a slightly questioning tone.

She confirmed with a very subtle nod, "What do you want with me?"

Vikki noticed the guards at his back and hoped that his partner was coming up with a plan to get them out should things turn sour. At this pioint it was a rather life threaghtening situation. Vikki could likely escape on his own, but the slaves were rather valuable and his surprising loyalty to the huts told him that leaving the slaves wasn't much of an option. not to mention returning without his artier might look rather suspicious and Vikki couldn't have that tarnish his reputation.

"I am Vikki and I want to deal. What does anyone want?" Vikki starts, but a pause allows sufficient time for him to get a good look at his surroundings and the nearly unseen approach of dozens of assassins form the dark shadows, "What is it... that you want?"

Sin got herself comfortable in an almost meditative position. She seemed rather confident that her own could easily handle what Vikki had brought to her den. She also knew exactly who they were and made no attempt to ask or figure out anything more. She knew that the slaves were for the 'deal' Vikki had in mind, but she knew that should she choose, that she could actually pick up a hefty profit by taking Vikki into the Waste Rangers right now, let alone the profits and uses the slaves may add to the profits. What did this creature have in mind? And why did he bring a lone man to guard him and his loot?

Was this Vikki creature stupid, or just overly confident. Curiosity got the best of her and she was forced to indulge him, "What does anyone want? What I want now is to find out more about this deal? And i want to find out who you brought along on this suicide mission," At this point she begins to ignore Vikki and focus on the man behind him, "Who are you? Do you know what we can do to you? Why did you come on this mission?"

Vikki nods at him to give him the go ahead to aster her questions.

As they carried on walking Erack reached into his armour and grabbed a Handful of what looked like rocks, in fact they were powerful Explosives personally designed by Erack they had a range of 26 meters but more importantly they made a very big bang perfect for a distraction if need be. As the group sped up the slaves chains started to rattle allowing Erack to start dropping the rocks in and around the slums and as they started moving into a mountain system he dropped them around the sides of the cliffs. These guards were the perfect solider's which in fact made it easy for Erack to drop these Explosives they never looked back once, and even if there was someone hidden they would think he's just dropping rocks.
As they made there way to a entrance to a cave Erack kicked some rocks in front of the last slave causing him to stumble onto one knee. As Erack heaved the slave up he also dropped 7 of these rocks under a tall part of the mountain.

As they entered the cave it quickly turned into a high security complex, switching on his recorder on his helmet he traced the route they were walking as well as seeing numerous mines, torrents and manned stations around. As they walked past the few men guarding the entrance to a room Erack looked back and saw around 8 more join the 3 there already. all grouped together perfect Erack thought to himself but his thought was broken as he saw the figure approach Vikki.
As they started to talk Erack looked at the guards appearing from the room there must be at least 25-30 all armed, he smiled underneath his helmet all challenge he thought a small one anyway.

They seemed mostly armed with blaster rifles, there were a couple of manned turrents around and probley a sniper or two. Looking at the leader as Vikki talked Erack eyed her up a sense of over confidence came of her, she was bound to be able to fight but that wouldn't be a problem. Erack had his plan and he was sure it would work if it had to.

All of a sudden she started talking to him, asking him three direct questions, getting a nod from Vikki Erack took a step forward. "My name is Erack Darku of the Clan of Darku" he stated looking straight at Sin, "as to why I came on this mission is my business all you should know is not what you can do to me but to what I can do to you" with that he turned and walked behind Vikki again. He was sure to have shocked everyone but he didn't negotiate he was a very blunt speaker.
Looking at Sin he waited for a response. .

His response was satisfactory at first, but his blatant disregard for the situation wa appalling in Vikki's eyes. He certainly brave, but brave often borders on stupid. Vikki hope for the best and interrupting would be a good option for the circumstance, but before he could do anything, Sin cackles.

Sin turns her back to him as she laughs, "I enjoy your amusement, but you must realize that this is no ordinary circumstance you're in."

Sin's view of the circumstances were that she was in control, and that was in fact the case. This is the depths of her den and no bodyguard as she sees him would change that fact.

Vikki interupts her thoughts, "These type of men often have one thing on there mind, but a thousand ways in which to accomplish it. You must admire their dedication and faith. This is something you might find in many members of the Hutt Cartel. This is what I'm here to talk to you about is regarding hiring your services exclusively."

"An alliance?" Sin reiterates with displeasure. She makes a good deal of money from being hired by a multitude of parties. She very much hates the idea of limiting her clientele.

"Even if you could afford me, what am I to say to all my angry clients when I tell them i'm exclusively working for the Hutts. That and what am I to do with all the enemies I am sure to gain by joining the Hutts? I don't need all that extra heat," she reasons while she sits down into a meditative position.

HSe adresses Erack again, "What would you do if you were me?"

Vikki doesn't like the fact that she is avoiding confronting him directly, and instead she is asking his obviously untrained partner for the questions he should be answering, "I'm sure that the Hutts are perfectly capable of affording your services. I wouldn't worry about that just yet. We can work on payment when I hear that you are actually interested. As far as gaining the Hutt's enemies, that solely depends on how goo you are at your job. Should you perform efficiently, very few if any should know about your involvement. But regardless of your skills in carrying out our jobs, we take care of our assets. We'd hate to lose something we're so clearly going to be paying a good deal of credits for efficient work. The real question is whether or not you want the Hutts to continue treating you as an enemy or as an ally."

She clicks her tongue in esponse to the points Vikki made, "I was asking your parter there. Why should I get rid of all of my clientele to work for the Hutts exclusively? The benefits of multiple clients is safer than relying on a single source of income is it not? How can I trust that the Hutts aren't planning on dumping me one day to leave us with unsatisfied past clients that will ensure that we are never hired again?"

Erack listened to Sin ' laugh, she still was over confident way over confident he thought to himself. He could see that Vikki wasn't happy with his answer, Erack wasn't going to change if someone talked to him he put it bluntly he didn't know another way. All of a sudden she asked what be would do if he was her, before he could answer Vikki stepped in, much to Erack's relief he was getting sick of questions.
But even after Vikki answered she asked him again.

"Let me put thus basically in terms that won't be confused" Erack started " if you don't join the Hutt ' your a enemy, a threat to the well being of the Cartel a threat to me" he started to walk over to her " while if you ally with us you are part of the family which includes protection and everything your eyes desire". Getting right to her face he looked at her through his helmet knowing she couldn't see him, "it's a simple decision either you join the family and get everything you desire and lose some clients, or you become our enemy and get destroyed and there are numerous ways we can do it"

He didn't mean this as a threat it were her two options and she had to pick one hopefully the right one...

Sin is greatly displeased by the answer of what is essentially a thug to her. Upon his approach to her, several of the assassin's guards jump into the action of restraining the brutish man, but Sin simply waves them off. The casually walks away from him with her back confidently turned to him. Upon his approach to her, she simply began to ignore him. She didn't care much for the disrespect of the thug. She flips a switch which activates a lights below the slaves, Vikki, and the Madolorian, which activates an immediate magnetism. The thug's armor was heavy as it is, but the magnetism pulls him to the floor so that he is directly flat upon the floor of the room.

The shackls on the slaves cause them to bow to the ground before the Assassin Leader. Vikki's pockets tug a powerful pull to the ground which forces him to crouch until he slips out of his cloak. This is in fact a difficult decision for Vikki seeing that he has a great deal of treasures within his cloak, but of rht esake of continuing the mission, he would need to actually be able to speak to Sin. Vikki knew that that manner of approaching any leader was simply disrespectful and no one likes to be disrespected while they are in a position of power. Vikki would be lucky that Sin continues to listen to their offer.

Sin clicks her tongue, "Now, now Mandolorian, I thought you would see reason, but your disrespect is... well, it doesn't reflect well on your culture's intelligence.

She turns back to Vikki, "Now, by the way your friend here explains this, is that I would be losing a great deal of profits, but that you are willing to force us into submission. I don't exactly like that thought, though I would very much like to see how you deal with the assassinations of your most generous patrons... your assets. If there is going to be war, your source of income will be vastly crippled."

Ark curses his comrade's lack of sensitivity to the situation, but he thanks Sin for more or less taking him out of the conversation. Vikki wold try to salvage the situation the best he can.

Vikki is quick to dismiss the words of his partner, "We Hutts can be quite forceful, though we wouldn't force you to join us. I would like you to forget more or less of my acquaintance's lack of knowledge of how the Hutts actually work."

Sin heaves a large sigh, "I am this close to taking care of you. You are on thin ice, and as to what I hear, the price of a Mandolorian to the Sith can fetch much more of a profit than you are currently telling me."

Vikki tries to rectify the situation caused by the Mandolorian behind him, "First thing I want to say is that by joining the Hutts, exclusive is word that I am using loosely. I don't mean you have to drop all of your other clients. I would have that you focus more on your biggest client, which would be us. That, and we would restrict you from taking jobs that would be working against the Hutt Cartel. I assure you that the money you'd be losing would be more than made up for by taking a contract with the Cartel. Besides that, I mentioned earlier the benefits of joining the Cartel include protection. If you have or develop any enemies in this process, the Cartel certainly wouldn't let the asset they would be paying so much go to waste."

For now, Vikki avoids the aspect of them becoming an enemy to the Cartel until she cools off from Erack's little incident. Vikki sighs at the scene of the completely immobile man in armor.

"May I ask you a small favor? My slaves are accustomed to bowing, but I'm afraid that these slaves have a rather admirable posture, and bending them down in such a manner certainly doesn't make them any more valuable due to longer term effete of that position. May I ask you, to save the value of the slaves from deteriorating, that you turn off the magnet?"

Sin smirks. She knows what Vikki really wants is his friend to be able to be picked up front he floor, "Fine. But you need to keep your dog on a leash. If he barks again, I might just make him my bounty and serve him to the Sith on a silver plate. Do you understand?"

Vikki smirks in response, "Of 'course, and I cannot say I would blame you. Being a diplomat, I don't much enjoy the disturbance of a brainless halfwit interfering in our diplomacy."

Sin shakes her head in realizing her folly, "I suppose that is my fault. I should have never involved him in our negotiations," She waves a few of the guards to do her bidding, "How about you take our... guest to the next room where you can be acquainted. I would like to have some time alone with our guest here."

Vikki nods his approval to his partner to leave Vikki unprotected. His job, after all is to protect Vikki on this mission, but Vikki knows he can handle himself for now, and his presence is only going to disturb Sin.

Feeling the magnet activate Erack was slammed face first into the floor, dazed and confused he wrapped his left hand in a fist knowing that if they were going to try and kill him he would activate the Explosives first.

Hearing Vikki start talking he waited still immobilized, listening to every word. Typical of a assassin to not have the guts to fight fair he was thinking and as the insults started to fly he had a very hard time holding back his tongue. Just as she could think of insults he could too. The fact that she did insulted his people, that she called him a dog and most of all the threat of giving him to the sith. But he waited patiently his job was not to kill her one day if that order came he would be happy to kill everyone here.

Hearing Vikki negotiate the release of the magnet he mentally prepared himself for getting up, even though he had only been down there for a few minutes his armour felt like it was breaking him I'm half. The magnet was released in half a second Erack was on his feet even though he was in pain he knew he couldn't show it.
Getting the nod from Vikki he followed 3 guards into the next door room. There standing staring at them he waited to see what the next move was but now he was ready he was in war mode just incase...

The guards lead the Mandolorian into the next room where the door was closed behind them. The guards then set him down at a relatively large table, considering the side of the room. They began to mock and taunt him. They were clearly offended by the Mando.

"So you think that just you could take care of the entire base? Pfft. You couldn't stand up against a single one of us in unarmed combat," The arrogance was that based on years of taking assassinations of high positioned personal. They were offended by the Mando, but they only sat in conversation with themselves as if he didn't even exist. They began to furze with some of their equipment during the wait.

Meanwhile Vikki strides through the base with Sin where they come to a balcony overlooking the entire valley, "You see, we desire a lot because we don't have much. What you see here is all we own. These slums are filled with the worthless men and women that we keep here to hide our presence."

Vikki smirks at her, "Well, it's clearly not hidden well enough, because I have found it."

"You were led to it," she was quick to correct him, "We take great pride in what we have, but we would be able to take more pride if we had more. I'm just not sure you'll be able to not to mention want to pay my high prices."

"Do you doubt the Hutt's wealth? We can afford anything, it just depends on your worth. From what we hear you are the best in these parts, but we wouldn't consider you the best of the galaxy," Vikki takes the risk of attacking her value for the sake of the Hutts.

In obvious anger, she points her bony finger at Vikki, "We are certainly worth more than any one of the bafoons you hire to do your dirty work!"

"I'm not actually sure of that. There will be much to be discussed about the worth of your business, though we would be opposed to paying you handsomely enough to make this the pace you dream it to be," Vikki antagonizes the battle of worth.

Erack sat and stared straight ahead as the grunts insulted him, after a while they got bored and started playing with random equipment. Erack resisted the urge to jump up and take them out. He could already see his he could do it, it would only take 3 leaps to get to them his momentum could take the two at the table out his weight would flatten them for a few seconds after that he Could disarm the last one before he even got a shot away.

But he knew he couldn't do that so instead he looked at the one that had challenged him and said "I could take all three of you out unarmed but then your boss wouldn't be to happy would she" with that he lent back in his chair waiting for a response. They may not of noticed it but they had all done the biggest no no in the galaxy. Question and insult a Mandalorian's fighting ability...

"I could take all three of you out unarmed but then your boss wouldn't be to happy would she," the Mandolorian said to the guards. They were a bit unhappy about the sentence, though they didn't care too much as they were already orders.

They were to play nice until they get the signal, but as luck would have it, the signal had come unannounced to the Mandolorian sitting unwittingly a part of the negotiations in the other room.

One of the guards stood up to confront the Mandolorian's insult to their very capabilities as assassins. He got up in his face and pointed his finger in his visor, "Oh, yeah? So you think you could actually take us all out at once?"

The second started circling around behind him where he sits and the third stood hidden in the shadow of the first, though he was seemingly ignoring the scene before them. He was still futzing with his equipment. The two in from of the Mandolorian provoked him until he got up from his seat, which by their estimation wasn't going to take very long based on the pride the Mandos have.

The moment he stands up, the first guard would step back to reveal the third guard's true activity. He just so happened to be futzing with a blow dart, and by futzing, he was loading it while he was hidden behind the initial guard. Upon his step beck, he had the opening to blow it at the Mandolorian's armor openings located at the joint of his inside elbow. The joint was almost always facing them unless for some reason he was keeping both his arms up, though that would usually reveal weaknesses in his torso. In the flash of an instant, the dart was towards the arm crease of his armor and would inject a toxin that would temporarily paralyze him in a matter of seconds. The plan was to use the guard as some sort of bartering chip in negotiations.

The idea behind it is that if the Hutts cannot even protect themselves, then how would they protect the assassins from the enemies bound to be made when entering in contract with the Hutts. If the assassins can take care of the Hutt in this room, then they might as well just protect themselves. that, and if the assassins have the Madolorian, they could barter him for a better deal, even if it is only a few lousy credits.

The first and second guard, after the dart is blown, move in to tackle the, injected or not, Hutt. Their order is to subdue in any way possible, even if it means death.

In the other room, Sin prepares to reveal, even if prematurely, her bartering chip in the deal, "Now, I suppose that you could make me an offer. What exactly are our services worth to you?"

Vikki thinks for a moment of their worth, and low balls her. He knows it may actually be obvious he's lowballing her, though if things go well, they deal might actually pass through. Vikki is actually quite good at determining the true value of things and people, and his view of the subject places them under his to be stated offer, "I'd say that depending on the individual's reputation, that I'd offer the payment of up to... 17,500 Credits each individual."

The astounded look on her face was certainly expected, and she knows that he is lowballing him, but her counter offer has more weight behind it, "Look, let's not play games. I could barely buy a meal for that much," that exaggeration was noted by Vikki that she clearly didn't think much of his offer. She clearly thinks she is worth much more than that.

Sin taps her fingers together as a twisted grin actually forms on her face, "I'd say that each of my assassins are worth at least twice as much as that. I want 35,000 Credits for my assassins. That way we can at least make a living here."

Vikki shakes his head at the offer. 35,000 Credits is no where near their worth and he guesses she already knows that. This kind of haggling could take unite a while to complete, but Vikki actually enjoys the fight for wealth, and he knows that this might take hours under the right circumstances, but before he could make a counter offer to her she speaks up in a tone that almost carried malice behind it, "And before you make any decision, you should know that I have your friend under my thumb here, so we can call it a a trade for whatever more ou think he's worth to you. Besides, I might as well just keep to myself since your friend doesn't seem to be able to hold his own, then how can I count on the Hutts to protect us?"

She waves at the door to open on que, expecting the Mandolorian to be dragged out by the guards.

Erack was sitting waiting all of a sudden one of the assassins stood up in his face pointing his finger in his visor, as this was going on one came up behind him.
Erack chuckled as he thought to himself how dumb these assassin's were, they may be excellent at their trade but it was obvious something was going to happen here and everyone knew a assassin strength was never in face to face fighting.
As Erack stood up the assassin in front of him jumped out of the way revealing the third assassin aiming a weapon at him, with speed faster than what the assassins thought he had he moved to the right following the first assassin meaning the dart scraped his armour but hit the poor fellow behind him instead. In that brief confusion Erack hit the Assassin in front of him right in the throat causing him to drop. With only the last one standing Erack bounded over the table running straight for him, with the assassin still mucking around with his weapon he had no time to adjust to avoid being slammed into the wall by Erack.

As the door started to open Erack smiled, he picked up the assassin's knocked out body and walked out before looking at Sin and smiling under the visor...

The assassins end up taking blows front he Mandolorian as the third drops by the toxin's effects. The man was clearly thinking about this moment and they weren't entirely prepared for how ready he is. They didn't like the idea of taking an individual on head on. Their true art form was in the act of stealth and their sideways methods of killing whether it be by poison or by a knife in the back.

The best they had here was the element of surprise, though they didn't really based on the Mandolorian's lack of surprise at the attack. Perhaps it was the heated words exchanged between them just before? Curse their arrogance in their art. They felt too safe in their own home to let themselves be more weary of their faults. The head on approach was certainly for savages and brute that are of the Hutt Cartel. The bounty hunters cannot compare to the finesse...Ughph... The assassin lays motionless on the ground from the tackle.

Vikki's view falls upon an Assassin being dropped onto the floor by his Mandolorian partner. Nothing that Sin has said made any sense at this point, though the look on her face is rather pricelss. Vikki isn't as stupid as to know what she was planning and thus a smirk falls onto his face to match the shack and anger on hers.

"So I think that since the Hutts can indeed handle their own, especially against a surprise attack that it rather reflects quite poorly on the abilities of your assassins' abilities to get the jobs we ask of them done with some sort of level of success," Vikki reasons without being as tender to her loss. They didn't seem to be dead, though he doubts he would care any more or less of they were.

Sin growls in an inert fit of fury and grinds her teeth like Vikki so frequently does, though his grinding is a necessary part of keeping his incisors down in size. Her grinding was out of sheer ante, and perhaps even worry, "Fine, you got lucky, though I doubt this Mandolorian would last a single mission as an assassin..."

Her attempt at vindicating her profession went interrupted by a sudden; different tone form Vikki. He knows he is at a vantage point in the bargaining process, and it was time to strike the steel while it is hot in order to make the deal now, "That's right! He is NOT an assassin. He is a Hutt and his job has been done successfully as your jobs should be done successfully, thoughI'm not getting the impression that your worth is nearly what you claim. I would be inclined to drop the value of your assassins due to their recent performance, though with the circumstances they were against a trained Hutt Member. It hardly seems fair. I will return to the price of your business with real offers. I think it's time to consider my offered seriously."

Vikki's tone was serious now and is something not often displayed in comparison to his normally playful tone. Vikki then motions to The Madolorian, assuming he hasn't been alarmed at all, to bring the slaves to himself and Sin.

"I want you to look at these slaves and tell me what they're worth Erack," Vikki asks him. He expects him to give every detail about them that he knows of them, and Vikki would further expand upon them, assuming the Mandolorians response is satisfactory to him. Vikki takes pride in his slaving, and he has learned a great deal about slaving since first coming to Zonju V.

Erack smiled to himself under his helmet at the look that Sin had on her face, assassin's were never no match for a trained Mandalorian warrior. All of sudden Vikki raised voice broke him out of his smile he knew now this was the business time in terms of negotiating and gaining the respect of sins warriors. Vikki would negotiate a strong deal Erack was sure as he looked around he could see that these assassin's were more cautious now hands closer to their weapons.
All of a sudden Vikki called the slaves forward and asked Erack to describe them.

Erack gave them a push as they walked forward, stopping right next to Vikki Erack started explaining about the slaves "as you must of seven for now they are all strong and perfect specimens, they are all middle age which means you can use them for whatever you want and they won't argue with it perfect slaves" he turned his gaze straight to her " when was the last time you saw so many slaves serve there master with such purpose"

Taking a step back he would let Vikki give all the small details of them that Erack didn't know....

Vikki nods at the simplicity of his answer, and it is exactly what he wanted. The point conveyed is that if someone who knows very little of slaving could tell how good these slaves are, then they must truly be good slaves, but in an attempt to strengthen the view of the slaves, he decides to expand up the Mandolorian's explanation. All the while Sin was sending brief glares at the Mandolorian, though it was harmless and was nothing more of an enter that her assassins couldn't hold their own against him.

Vikki takes one of the many slaves and unshackles the Twi'lek male, "Stand here boy. What is your name?"

The slave looks at Vikki confused, "Wha sir. I don't have masef one ob dem. I em called slave," all the while the slave looks Vikki in the eyes.

After letting the slave finish his sentence, Vikki smirks, "Exactly. These slaves respond to you there, boy, and slave. Keep it simple, and they know when you're talking to them. They are uneducated and they barely speak basic. Now see their bodies."

Vikki waves around the barely clothed male, and turns him in which he willingly complies with him. The skin is smooth apart from their brand which mark them as belonging to the Hutt Cartel, "They are strong and conditioned for hard manuel labor. See how smooth their skin is? It shows no scarring from whipping. This means that they are as compliant as you wish. Anything you ask, they will do without question. They were born into slavery and had been separated from the previous generation since birth. All they know is how to be a slave and they know not how to disobey."

Sin smirks and lets out a small cackle, "No slave is completely compliant. They will always resist. It is in their blood to resist. What you claim is nearly impossible. your slaves aren't worth nearly as much as you suggest they are."

Vikki looks at her in disbelief of her doubt, "Fine. You there, come here."

The slave was a Togruta female who obeyed the moment she was unshackled from the rest. She stood before Vikki with out hesitation. Vikki hands her a dagger that he reveals from under his cloak. Sin's eye's raise as her hand slowly makes its way across her belt to a hidden blaster.

The slave holds the weapon and grips it, but doesn't do anything with it until Vikki's mouth opens, "Kill him," he motions toward the other slave that doesn't so much as twitch after hearing the order that Vikki utters with full confidence.

The slave immediately thrusts the blade into the other's neck where he doesn't even so much as flinch at the blow that drops him to his knees. Even as he falls, his hands don't reach up to cover the wound or to prevent her from delivering yet another strike to his shoulder. The blows she was now dealing weren't even lethal, but simply just painful.

Vikki sighs at the lack of knowledge of how to kill, but even that proves his point of how good the slaves are, "Stop," he orders her as she immediately stands up straight over the crumpled body convulsing on the ground in a pool of his own blood. He was still clearly alive judging by the screams he tries to let out, but he never even looks away from Sin.

Vikki is annoyed by the screams and in anger he shouts at the dying man, "Quiet!"

Once Vikki is able to speak to Sin, he nods at her, "So how are your doubts about their obedience now?"

"Give it to me," he says to the slave as he doesn't even look away from Sin and the slave returns the dagger to Vikki's possession. He licks the blood from the blade, "Now you can feed the rest. it's best served in a red sauce."

After cleaning the blade with his tongue, he returns the dagger to its hiding place under his cloak before turning to the Mandolorian, "Now how valuable would you say these slaves are?"

He doesn't have much knowledge about slave prices, but he guesses that he would at least say that they are worth twice as much as other slaves, if not more. Vikki motions to the Mandolorian to remove the dead body from the scene and to reshackle the living slave.

All throughout the demonstration, Sin was horrified by what the other slave had done and the fact that the dying slave actually silenced himself at Vikki's request was appalling. She didn't show her disgust apart from an uncontrollably gaping mouth, though she knew it wasn't hard to discover her thoughts. This is nothing like she'd ever seen before. The slaves die better than even a Gladiator, and that's truly saying something. There is no doubt that these are the finest slaves she'd ever seen, though for the sake of argument, she would never say that out loud during the negotiations of her and her assassin's worth.

"What's the point of this? Why would you show me this?" She asks with a hint of speechlessness in her breath. She knew that it was something to sweeten the deal, though she didn't want it to compromise her negotiation of her price, no matter how good the slaves were.

(OOC- Due to Motor1's Disappearance and how close this thread is to being completed, I will just be wrapping this up.)

The Mandolorian's answer didn't matter, since it was obvious that his answer was going to show just how much more valuable the slaves have become in their eyes. Vikki then spoke up to add to the Mandolorian's comment on the slaves' value, "Not only are they valuable in the manner of obedience, but now they are even more valuable because there is one less of them. I now that you cannot simply rely on assassins to do a slave's job, so I would say that having slaves like this would be greatly beneficial. I doubt that the hood rats out there would make decent slaves. They would hardly compare to these slave-bred men and women. I will also give you a cheaper source of slaves, though remember that the slaves I offer won't be nearly as valuable as these here, but I am willing to part with them for the sake of striking a deal. Otherwise, I will be sure that the only slaves you will ever see in these parts will be those from the hood down there."

Sin speaks up through Vikki's offer, "I can't say that we are worth these slaves. Our services will not be less valuable just because a few slaves are obedient enough to kill themselves upon command."

The speechlessness has been replaced by anger, and she was trying very hard to display displeasure to Vikki. He had leverage in this negotiation, and Sin had her values. Vikki saw through Sin's bluff and decided to leave a final offer for her before he left.

"Okay Sin. This is my final offer. We will purchase your services for 21,000 Credits each, and you can keep the slaves. I'll leave them here for you to decide on what you're doing, but keep in mind that failing to accept my deal will result in you becoming an enemy of the Cartel. We know where you are, and," Vikki retrieves the detonator off of his bodyguard's belt, and flicks his thumb up to the button, "We have way of making you pay for becoming an enemy. You have two days to accept our offer, before we decide you're an enemy."

Vikki begins walking backwards towards the exit with his thumb on the detonator, "When I leave here, my original offer will expire and I will only offer 17,500 Credits, so make your decision quickly."

Sin scoffs at him and his offer until the detonator was revealed. Her crossed arms suddenly flew out as a step moves forward. She hesitates as Vikki's thumb rests on the button. She couldn't find out just the extent of the damages caused by any bombs, though she wouldn't be the least but surprised to dissect the slaves to find bombs in their stomachs. The offer was still quite low, but the price of the slaves would neutralize the lack of credits in the offer. She lets him walk out and as he warns her of the drop in the offer, she purses her lips from showing weakness of accepting the offer with such haste.

Unfortunately she cannot afford to let the offer slip through, and she knew it was a better offer than she could look past. just before Vikki and the Cartel member is out of the base, she speaks up in anger of the hasty decision, "Fine!"

Vikki pauses and looks around to be sure there were no assassins trying to get the jump on him, but it seemed her offer was rather genuine.

She speaks up again, but with malice clearly showing through gritted teeth, "I'll take the offer," a scowl was molded to her face.

Vikki smirks at his victory, though he hoped she would have waited just a few steps more. He reaches into one of his many pouches and throws a comm link out onto the ground before her, "You'll hear from me."

Vikki makes his retreat with a cautious eye on his rear, but the path behind him seemed devoid of anything to hinder his progress to the hover vehicle waiting to bring him back to the base.
