Well I'm planning to create the Bounty Hunters Guild in the next timeline. If I can get it off the ground it would be cool to have them be like the US during WWI. Providing support to both sides until one side starts attacking them and the bounty hunters commit to one side of the war, or have a split of their own when they can't decide on which side to support.

So yeah, cool story opportunities. Oh, and the credits. The credits are nice too.:D

Edit: Nevermind, I see Kiro already has a guild in the works. Guess I'll just try to see if I'll be able to get into it.

I figured this was the best place to post this, since I don't want to make a whole new thread just for one image at this point, but here's a neat little weapon I've made up for the next timeline: the Versistaff, a collapsible sword/staff/pike that has the arguably unfortunate quality of looking like a lightsaber when collapsed. A neat and versatile item to own, for those who aren't afraid of being made a target for carrying what appears to be a Jedi weapon on their person.

That thing reminds me of the Quarterstaff item from KOTOR/KOTOR 2. That too was collapsible like a double-ended lightsaber.

That was pretty much what started it, I just took it a few steps further and made it this whole crazy thing.

EDIT: Got bored, tried the energy bow idea.

Not to be the proverbial stick in the mud, but where/how would you draw the bow string without cutting/burning off your fingers?

Otherwise, it's a cool image.

The Nightsisters used what appears to be a solid metal tube as a grip at the nocking point to draw the string, but that never really mde much sense to me and doesn't really work with the collapsible nature of the weapon. I imagine that instead a Versistaff user would instead require an armored gauntlet to draw the string with their drawing arm, while the opposite arm would have to have a bracer equipped for the same protective purposes.

I envisioned the Versistaff having an optional control bracer to automate the various changes in configuration it's capable of anyway, so it's not too much of a stretch to make it work beyond the initial concept.

Yeah, that makes sense. Real life archers, competetive or not, also use reinforced gloves and bracers/armour anyway, so it'd work well, I think.

I have been planning on using a bow for my main character Next Timeline. I'm curious though, how well do you think it would hold up against a blaster, of any kind?

PvE and PvP wise, what do y'all think?

I'm fairly certain in the TV series there was a group of people that used bows.

Really depends on what you're gonna use it for, and what kinda bow it is. Blasters will always have the advantage when it comes to range and rate of fire, and usually, in sheer stopping power, and to be honest, in accuracy too. Easier to aim and hold a gun steady compared to a bow. The bow's biggest advantage is, frankly, that it's silent.

I was planning on giving my bow special arrow tips. For instance making the arrows explode on impact, make them EMP all technology, make them shoot out smoke, poison the tips, you know some "Batman with a Bow" type stuff.

Also as far as the accuracy and all that. My character will be Force sensitive so i think it plausible that he can "Steady his mind" or some other stuff like that.

Don't know if this is unfair, but i have seen far worst as far as technology wise.

You mean you'll be Green Arrow, not "Batman with a Bow".

And as for Force Sensetivity, I don't see why not.

Exactly. Except a Darker Assassin type.

Force sensitive characters were a mistake.

So either BA, non-FS Sith (faction) or Independent. The former pair are going to depend on how the write-up's for them go. I'm not keen on really joining up if they're just going to serve as inglorious sidekicks to the Jedi/Sith, especially Zoist group. Obviously Force-sensitive characters are and always will outnumber the normies by quite a margin in terms of activity and popularity, but even so it would be nice to see them stand alone for a change.
