Keep in mind you can only be in one faction, friend!
So you have to choose between the Republic and the Jedi. We aren't allowed to have characters in more than one.
(pick Senate we'll be the best)
I was under the impression that there wasn't going to be a Jedi specific faction, that they were just going to be members of the Republic.
I unfortunately don't think that is correct.
The Jedi Knights are a faction. The Republic is a seperate factions. And they have no formal ties.
For some reason I never got a notification when I was tagged. Anywho...
IF we are allowed corporate senators my senator will be from the conglomerate that is in the works. This conglomerate will be a front for the Rim Syndicate so there will be plenty of backdoor dealing and corruption.
If not I may go the Jedi route but I think I will end up sticking with a senator. If I do Corellia will be my planet of choice (Alderaan's one of my favorite but there are already to vying for it so I will let it go).
On the other hand I could make two senators. One from Corellia and the other would probably be from Tatooine. I may roll my retired soldier forced to return into a senator from Tatooine.
I can already see two senatorial types: Noble and Corrupt!
Maybe. I've got a soldier character I really want to work with but on the other hand I kind of want to do a non corrupt senator. If its possible I might have a character who is a soldier first but a senator part time. Also might make for some interesting dynamics between both the senate and BA. @Brandon Rhea Would it be possible to have a character be both a senator and a member of the BA?
I dont speak for Brandon, but I think that is allowed. The BA is part of the Republic, and there are two of us who are planning to represent it so far
I believe that instead of representing the BA as a whole, it would make more sense to represent a border world that is part of the BA. That way as a Senator the character would have the BA's interest at heart, but also the conflicting interest of what is best for their homeworld as opposed to what is best for the BA

I am guessing that's right. Just wanted to be sure before I start work on a character. Honestly I am a bit torn as far was what outer rim planet I want to represent, if I go that direction. Some of it will depend on what the boarder worlds end up being. I may pick one of those.
I'm going to have Niish's father be the Senatorial Representative for Utapau. Name "Mr. Kydon" for now until I get into creating the character.
