There is but one duty that the Jedi are to fulfill: the destruction of the Dark Side.

Born a mechanic on a backwater colony world, forced to fight as a slave for the amusement of the Cato Neimoidian people, freed from his bonds, and reborn again a Jedi, this Feeorin owes his life to the Jedi Order and will not rest until his service to the Light is complete.

Personality​

A passion for justice burns deep within the very essence of this dogmatic crusader of the Light. In his eyes, it is the sublime privilege of all Jedi to live and die fighting the insatiable tide of darkness. His upbringing, coupled with his experiences through the galaxy, have turned this once open-minded Feeorin into a bullheaded champion of virtue, acting as a bulwark against the forces of evil in the galaxy. His only fear of dying is doing so with his duty not done. Though he may come across as brusque to others, his is a kind heart, yearning to do good in the galaxy to overpower the darkness. He is a direct being, unafraid to voice his opinion or offer his insight into the matter, regardless if it's wanted or not. Though he may be considered far from a gentle giant, Reem nonetheless enjoys conversation with his comrades, despite his obvious lacking in casual oratory skills.

In battle, however, Reem is a towering behemoth of a warrior. His will is unbending, reinforced by his near-fanatical zealotry towards the Light. He will give his enemy no quarter and show no mercy, for to engage in true battle with such a stalwart beacon of justice is to have consigned yourself to darkness. His attacks are relentless and ferocious, aiming to give the enemy no time to ground themselves or recover from the onslaught. While some may believe this could lend oneself to the Dark side, Reem's zealous arrogance refuses to acknowledge this, believing he is above such corruption.

Skills​

Reem is not a highly-learned man. Raised as a blacksmith and mechanic on his home planet of Odryn, Reem's training lies in forging tools and weapons from whatever materials are available and ensuring the upkeep of vehicles and other machinery. His time as a Jedi had refined his fighting skills and had given him rudimentary training in other talents. As such, Reem can consider himself a mediocre slicer; he can slice through several types of security systems, but anything remotely considered high-security he considers a waste of time.

His mechanical skills are, while not as good as any professional, still impressive for being raised on such a backwater planet. He considers himself to be a decent pilot, reflexes aided by his natural Force-sensitivity. He possesses many of the skills one would expect to learn after 150 years of life, such as first aid, land navigation, hunting, tracking, and a myriad of other talents pertinent to his status as a Jedi Knight.

Owing to his large stature and impressive strength, Reem has primarily focused on a style akin to the Fifth form of lightsaber combat, Djem So. He attempts to remain on the offensive as often as he can, allowing the opponent no time to recover or counterattack, though this reckless offense often leaves him lacking defensively.

Force Abilities​

The Jedi have refined his usage of the Force over his two decades of service. While not taken at a young age for training, Reem nonetheless has honed his innate connection to the Force. He has gained a greater understanding in its many undulations and is capable of manipulating it at will. Despite his skill in the Force, Reem remains obstinate on the issue of not relying on it as a crutch and risking corruption through malpractice. Telekinesis, however, is where he considers himself more or less an expert. Pushing and pulling objects by manipulating the energy surrounding them, as well as increasing his speed and jump height, are where he excels in his usage of the Force.

I might suggest an OOC thread to further discuss the pre-DotR RPs going on. I'd be happy to link any and all in the OP so people can find them. We might just want to keep this thread to planning our chars and such - refresh = 3 pages of replies. lol

I'm working on developing a modular jar'kai style for Rhonan to learn. I've been using it in my Saber Guild stage shows recently; "Way of the Jakobeast"

It's a Djem So and Soresu hybrid that utilizes Saber and Shoto, combat momentum, and Force when necessary. The modular aspect comes in when he can snap his sabers together at the pommel to make a staff. The combat flow is the embodiment of controlled chaos, and is fantastic in a group fight.
