Looking at doing a diverse RP as a sort of prequel to the new timeline. I would need a Jedi Knight at minimum and perhaps a Padawan to complete what I have in mind. Whomever I go with would have a hand in picking the character I rp in the next rp as a death will occur that will decide that. This would be up to the you the player to make a choice.

Ive spoken with admins and Id like to note that depending on the new timeline which is undecided yet the rp may be null/void if it contradicts anything they plan but I intend on keeping that out of the way as much as possible.

This rp would take place 10-15 years prior to the new storyline so if your character is aged this may be ideal for you to have a bit of a backstory as well as get a connection with another character.

I'll also add that Ill be rping 2 characters that will be siblings as well as pushing the story along. Your character would play a big point in the plotline and could have consquences in the future timeline in terms of potential vengeance or salvation depending on how the story goes. By no means would you have to rp further with myself or my character but it will no doubt have a lasting effect on him/her.

I like to think this would be a great precursor to the next timeline in a way of building a small backstory for your character as well as helping me pick mine. I have 2 types of characters I am in a deadlock to pick and having someone else choose the fate of them sounds like a great way of adding depth before making a writeup. Feel free to pm me if youre interested and we could have this started as soon as Sunday afternoon.

Yes, the Jedi are kind of on their own, with no official relationship to the Senate. Not to say they wouldn't fight together with the BA, but the Jedi will be their own force (pun intended) combatting evil and crossing the line once in a while to kill the Sith. ;)

What would be a nice prize for the tournament? I was thinking that first place winners should be awarded the Dark Saber from the Clone Wars TV show, though I would have to ask @Brandon Rhea. It's only fitting for the best Jedi to wield the most iconic weapon along with a few credits and a nice ship. Second place would get a few unique lightsaber crystals. And third place could get a droid or something.

Sounds more like a Sith or Hutt event. Winner gets goodies and fame? Just doesn't seem very Jedi. It likely would not be wielded by anyone. It's an artifact in the vault. A tournament just seems out of place.
