Casany didn’t encounter any resistance down her lane of the hallway. No doors flanking the walls except at the end where the corridor fed into another direction. Before she tried a side door, Atuu’s voice came into her comlink.

“Solid copy.” The other corridor looked like it ended into the same open room given the larger doors. “I think you’re right. On my way to your position!”

The Mandalorian of red and gold stormed through the corridor, burst through the doors and appeared into the wide open production floor just as an explosion rocked it. “Right behind you, vod!”

Cas announced her presence just as a blaster bolt struck her shoulder. It was a heavy hit but fortunately the iron of Mandalore protected her.

She whipped around to find the corridor she had just exited had a few more assailants coming out of it. Shit. That kriffing door. The one she had not opened. Crafty Deucalians.

Casany’s own jetpack ignited, taking her toward the high ceiling, pistols blasting. Unfortunately for her three enemies, they had rushed into the open, no cover, as bolts hammered their skulls.

Turning midair, either Atuu had dealt with the last few defenders in the room or Cas would have to as she lands.

Rushing forward with his jetpack rumbling on his back. Atuu would shoulder check one of the Delucians rattled from the blast. Sending him spinning to the ground, Atuu would turn to stop his advance and level his carbine on the target, placing two rounds center mass. The body on the floor now a corpse, he would turn his attention to the other survivor, dropping to the ground and running forward, activating his jetpack to deliver a flying knee to the man's chin.

His head would fly back and bounce off the ground with a loud thud. He did not move. Either dead or unconscious it mattered little to Atuu in the moment as he turned his attention to the door's directly to his left. Turning to face them he called out to his partner <"I would guess he is in there. We can rush him or see if he want's to surrender. Your call since you have more experience with this stuff."> he concluded while moving to take a position that would provide some cover if the doors opened.

Kneeling braced against a support pilar with carbine aimed at the door, Atuu would follow whatever his partner's next move would be, @Die Shize

As expected, Casany’s companion had made short work out of the remaining opponents, leaving one door that mattered little and less except for the target behind it. The bounty worth much and more to Casany Praxor.

To Anvil, the bounty hunter, but she had no immediate need to reveal the reasons as to the value of these Deucalians beyond credits. Her mission was a different beast that remained to be seen.

Atuu offered for his partner to make the call, the decision to prompt for a less lethal resolution. She did have experience and did need this guy alive. “All right.”

Clearing her throat, Cas put on her best get-the-kriff-out-here voice. “Vikor Grothem!” Silence was a sign of getting his attention. “Your bikers? Dead. Your operation? Finished. Now get the kriff out here before I kick this door down and blast—”

“OKAY OKAY WAIT WAIT WAIT”

The door opened. Two Mandalorians had weapons trained at the entrance where a man came out with his hands held high. So much for the greatest warriors in the galaxy. Deucalians had nothing on Mandalorians.

“I’m guessin’ ya need me alive…and I got information.”
In his defense, he sounded more like an opportunist than a coward. Deucalians. Destruction as much as deception.

“Me too, and the good news starts with my partner slapping the stuncuffs on you.” She gestured to Atuu. “So be a good boy and keep still. If you don’t?” Anvil tilted her helmet for effect. “My blaster makes a noise and its bolt goes in your skull.”

Convincing the target to surrender: 19/20

Holding his position behind cover Atuu would command the Delucian to maximize his own safety as they proceeded.

"Lay on the ground, arms out straight towards us. Palms facing the ground." Atuu nearly barked. He was not in the mood to be caught in some hostage situation or find a sneaky vibro in his side.

As he waited for the Delucian to comply, he would watch the man lie down and extend his arms, with palms facing the ground. Atuu would then rise from his position, holding the stun cuffs in his off hand and the carbine in his other. Approaching slowly and out of his immediate field of vision. Circling around and placing a knee in the mans back, he would hold the barrel of the carbine to the Delucian's head as he slapped the cuff on one wrist, torqued the arm upward and let his carbine swing loose as he scrambled to grab the other hand and place it in cuffs.

Atuu then rose from the dominant position he held and grabbed a grease stained sack from one of the nearby machines that was still in one piece. Placing it over the Delucian's head and pulling the cinch tight to restrict his vision nearly completely.

Hauling him up from the ground by his upper arm, Atuu would nod to Casany "Walk." He stated flatly with a nudge on the Delucian's back. "Speak your piece, what information do you have?" Atuu asked as they began to make their way back through the facility and to the duo's transports.

Blasters at their target’s back, bounty in hands, Casany felt confident that her prize would not try to run or hide like he already had attempted.

Atuu asked him for information as they walked, of which their prisoner just harrumphed. He might have spat were it not for the sack over his head.

“I’ll give you this ‘information’ when I’m safe and sound in a ship. Ain’t easy to walk and talk like this. Also, I really gotta piss.”

“Funny,” Casany interjected. “Thought you already did your business back in that bathroom.”

Fortunately her vessel had the facilities and she had the patience for the trip. So, they delivered the Deucalian to Hammer, trussed and hooded, as was promised.

“Just follow me,” Cas told Atuu, figuring he had no need to argue. They were partners in this endeavor but, privately, the information that Vikor Grothem had was for one Mandalorian’s ears only.

In the end, they would split the bounty, and it would be worth more than one target. Atuu would not leave this planet emptyhanded.

Their ships would be of some convenience given a few other Deucalian di’kuts and their kuttes before the Mandalorians cut through space and sailed away.

“So…” Casany Praxor beckoned her passenger in the cockpit. “Tell me about Unwavering. And, if you lie, this bolt is going between your eyes.”
