Current Status of the Jedi

Need up to date information on current events and status of the faction for a Legacy plot proposal.

The most recent event that's happened with the Jedi is that the Council returned to the Tython Temple a little while ago. Upon seeing it having been rebuilt by the Army (our faction) as a military fortress, they were outraged and barred the Army from conducting any of their military business on any of the Jedi Holy worlds (Ilum, Lothal, and Tython). Currently, the Army resides on the Dantooine Stronghold and on the mobile star destroyer, the Peacekeeper.

Relations with the Republic have been somewhat strained as of late, though with the Battle of Coruscant underway they have made amends to fight for the people of the Republic. Onderon, after having been successfully defended by the Jedi, also seceded from the Republic to join under the Jedi Army's banner.

This timeline, the Jedi Order is an NPC group that functions outside of the war and doesn't do much besides stay in their temples. If you take a look at the history and Jedi worlds in the Jedi Archives, it's written out how the Jedi Faction revolves solely around the Jedi Army (or Army of Light), and therefore we're very active in the war effort. This is the reason for our unique ranks, such as Jedi Lord, Generals, and Initiates instead of Padawans.

This is how the faction was initially supposed to be RP'ed, and we've stayed true to that for the most part since the beginning of the timeline (with a few months of down time where the Jedi did basically nothing).

I cannot find any forum in the storyline stating about a rebuilt Tython. If I could get messaged with the link, that would be greatly appreciated, so I may update my character's biography.

Tython was recently destroyed, its no longer inhabitable and everyone on the planet was killed. The Sith used a Force power super weapon to strike at Tython.

Wow, okay. I chose Tython as my character's training origin due to being taken off of Arkania. It was the planet that had the Jedi Council. Where is the council now? Spaceship called Peacekeeper?

The Council is all dead. Currently the Jedi faction ins't the Order, but the Army of Light. They're a subgroup of the Jedi Order that's semi-independently fighting the Sith. The Army has a outpost on Dantooine and is also using the Peacekeeper as a mobile base.

The info threads don't include the latest on Tython because the incident happened in the last couple of days, but it mentions the relationship of the Army with the Council and our history. I'm also glad for the status update. So much has happened and it feels overwhelming. But there's some light shined on things now.

Did you just assume my state? I don't associate with solid, gaseous, or liquid states, I'm state-fluid. And no, I don't associate with the fluid state either.
