Some weeks had passed since Jey had arrived on Ryloth, the young Force-sensitive had spent most of his days trying to gather his thoughts and figure out what he wanted to do with his life ever since fleeing Nar Shaddaa. Currently he was working as a bartender at a local cantina and took a few "illegitimate" jobs on the side, just to get by. Jey recently had finally managed to adapt to his new environment and the way things worked on Ryloth - also, the Twi'leks were an added bonus.

It had also been sometime since Jey had consumed some Death sticks, a long time actually. And... well, it wasn't a great feeling - after spending so long consuming Death sticks to dampen his connection to the Force, he developed a reliance on it. While he knew it was bad and damaging to his overall health, he promised himself he'd have this one last fix before taking the steps to quit for good and would just have to find another way to cut himself off from the Force.

On one of his bar tending shifts a few days ago, Jey encountered a dealer who revealed that they could get the young man some Death sticks but it would take a few days to get the product in. Fast forward to now, Jey received a message from the dealer, that he had the Death sticks and where to meet him. Without hesitation, Jey donned a black shirt with brown cargo pants and boots, equipped with his DL-18 blaster and damaged lightsaber (for intimidation purposes) before making his way to the meet up.

Strolling on up, Alana wore a smug grin as she nodded to the bouncer on her way into the cantina. Gatoa was a pretty reliable man, so she was feeling pretty good about getting a restock on her death stick supply. She had to be quick about it too else Ines would start to catch on; then she'd be in a heck of alot of trouble with her new friend. The cantina was loud and filled with the shady characters one could expect from a seedy little spot like the Romping Kathhound Cantina, but Alana was here for the scenery, she was here to make a deal. She looked to the Barkeep, a three eyed Gran who was busy drying off some glasses. Alana pushed her way past a pair of drunk Twi'leks, getting to the bar top and slapping a handful of credits onto the bar top. "Hey, there partner, I got buisness with Gatoa, he in today?" She asked with a grin, only to receive a rather bland expression from the alien, though he soon scooped the credits away and pointed her towards the back room. Alana tipped her hat to the alien, and strode on back, as she found herself in an empty store room, with not a soul in sight. She puckered her lips together and glanced about again, her hand caressing the blaster pistol against her thigh, as she was getting a bad feel from this whole thing now. But Gatoa had a rep, surely he hadn't left her high and dry, so like any good addict Alana found a nice crate to sit on. Letting out a sigh, she could only hope that she was getting a fresh supply today, else....well she wouldn't be doing so hot next week.

Jey eventually made his way to the Romping Kathhound cantina, and felt relief wash over him as he remembered his shift there didn't start until much later in the day. The doors automatically swung open and the black haired boy entered the cantina which was filled with its regulars, to which he greeted them all jovially on his way to the bar keep. Finally, he stopped at the counter and rested both of his arms on the surface, greeting his Gran co-worker, Khoo-Lee, with a lazy salute - "Mornin' Khoo-Lee... or afternoon?" he said with a childish smirk.

"Jey." he responded, acknowledging the hazel-eyed boy's presence... with the growing re-emergence of his connection to the Force, Jey could sense, or at least make out, the Gran didn't like him very much. "Probably because I'm prettier." he thought to himself. Taking a moment to look to both his left and right, as well as to see if anyone was close behind him. Jey leaned in slightly closer and whispered to his co-worker "Is he here?" with a straight face, all hints of humour leaving it. Khoo-Lee responded with a nod and tilted his head swiftly in the direction of the all too familiar store room. Lightheartedness returning to his face once more, the hazel-eyed youth winked at the Gran before making his way to the back room.

Upon his entry, Jey spotted an attractive woman - probably a few years his senior - sitting on one of the crates. Grinning slightly and showing a bit of his pearly white teeth and crossed his arms "Heh, while being alone in a room with a gorgeous woman is on my top 10 list of fantasies." his grin then dropped slightly "You're not Gatoa. Who are you and what're you doing here?" he asked sternly, but with no intention of threat.

Alana sighed as she waited for the man to arrive, Gatoa was supposed to be here any minute though, so she would put up with it. Least, she was willing to put up with it for a time. She would come up with her own form of entertainment until then. She got a good tune going, though she kept her blaster pistol out, keeping it hidden by her thigh as she kept herself sane; though she felt she was at risk of being jumped at any moment. She could hear the obnoxious music blaring from outside the room, which annoyed her to no end, but she kept her cool; no need to fly off the handle bars after all, she was going to get her fix soon.

So, when this random man, stepped into the room and began eyeing her up, Alana began to raise her blaster pistol towards him. He was a young buck, a tad too young for her tastes, not to mention he looked like an average street thug. "Keep your hands were I can see them buddy, and don't get any ideas. We ain't doing no devil's tango if that's what you're thinking." She started, sitting up and making it rather clear she wasn't fething around. To say she was being rational would be stretch, as Alana felt annoyed and honestly was getting a tad peeved at this whole situation. She gestured the man into the room, lowering her baster once she felt he wasn't a threat. "So, I'm guessing you aren't Gatoa either? I've been waiting here for a good minute, take a seat partner, and what's your name?" She relaxed, realizing she was letting her temper get the best of her, as she shook her head and slide the blaster back into it's holster. 'Kill him before he kills you.' 'Stupid girl.' "Shut up." She muttered, swatting over her shoulder like she was trying to hit an annoying bug. She needed a fix and she needed it now, the voices always got worse the longer she went without her fix. She looked up to the new comer, forcing a smile to her face. "Oh, and I'm Alana. Nice to meet you." She chuckled, playing off the fact she was just talking with herself.

Jey's eyes widened as he raised his arms in surrender, he was decent with a blaster but this woman... she looked like she could handle herself and definitely knew how to use a blaster better than he did and the lightsaber on his belt was just for show. It'd be best to comply with her. Honestly, he wasn't surprised that she rebuffed his advances, that was one of the lamer pick-up lines he made. Luckily, she began to ease up and lowered her blaster back into its holster, which caused the young Force-sensitive to breathe a sigh of relief.

Jey approached a nearby crate and dragged it over and placed opposite this woman, albeit a few feet away, he wouldn't try his luck with her. Sitting down, he noticed the white-haired woman whisper to herself before swatting over her shoulder... which caused him to raise an eyebrow, heh maybe he is better off not pursuing her, never charge up a crazy lady's loading ramp after all. Strangely though, as he was beginning to slowly reconnect with the Force - he, felt something within her... she was like him, although he couldn't sense much whether it be his damaged connection or if she wasn't strong in the Force, something was there at least.

He was brought back to reality when the white-haired woman introduced herself as Alana while chuckling. Jey grinned back and ran his hand through his jet black hair, pulling the long front of his hair to the back of it - "Jeyten Dres, or Jey. Good to meet you too, pateesa." he said, introducing himself in return and adding a bit of Huttese flair at the end. Jey looked around the room swiftly, causing his two front locks of hair to fall in front of his face again all the while deducing that Alana was probably here for the same reason he was - Death sticks. But where the kriff was Gratoa?

"Any idea where Gratoa is? I heard he was a pretty reliable dealer. If he's conned us, I swear--" he uttered, raising his voice before abruptly cutting himself off. His gaze returned to Alana, he hoped that maybe she had some kind of answer to his burning questions - or maybe, she was just as in the dark as he was.

The metal cylinder on his hip caught Alana's attention, as she recalled Felix and herself nearly got killed trying to buy a lightsaber not too long ago. Least the man seemed to take well to having a blaster pulled on him, most people would have lost their cool. Alana forced on a smile, sliding the blaster into the holster once she had a name for the new comer. He seemed a bit twitchy, but then again so was she, and she had just drawn a weapon on the guy. 'He's here to kill you.' 'Don't believe his lies.' The voices slipped into her mind once again, and like a womp rat quickly withdrew before Alana could react. She grimaced as if she had been shot, her hand reaching up to rub at her temple, her teeth clenched tightly as she felt her mental state straining like a piano wire being pulled just a bit too tight. "Nice to meet you Jey." She said, sounded a bit distracted, as her gaze went to the ground, her mind beginning to wage a war against her anexity's and rational. Alana jumped up from the crate, trying to pace as she needed to be rid of all this tension that was rising to the surface. But that paranoid side of her was winning, as even Alana was wondering if she had walked into some sort of trap.

"Yea no got no clue about Gratoa, you know he's an odd duck if I've seen one, but he's usually on time you know? Unless someone killed him or something." A nervous laugh escaped her lips, as she threw a hard glance towards Jey, still smiling as she chuckled. "I mean, the chance of that happening is a little bit of a stretch right?" She continued, kinda but not really suggesting that Jey might know where the dealer was. She took in a deep breath, realizing her mental faculties were failing her. She wasn't about to kill this kid over something like nerves, she needed to get a grip. She needed to calm down. Alana finally sat down, pull the brim of her hat down to cover her eyes. "Ugh. Sorry, I just get temperamental when I haven't had a fix. I don't mean nothing by it. Apologies." She said, keeping her gaze on the ground as she set her hands on her knees and gripped them hard.

Yeah, she was definitely a user like him - but right now, he could tell she needed it more than he did. He watched as she continued to act restless and questioned Gratoa's whereabouts, she was just as in the dark as he was, although she had a hint of accusation behind her questions... as if he had something to do with this. Jey raised an eyebrow once again "It wouldn't be much of a stretch if we were on Nar Shaddaa." he joked "But Ryloth is a little more tame." Jey added.

When she finally sat down, Alana commented on how she acts when she hadn't had her fix - so his suspicions were confirmed, her withdrawal was worse than his. Jey sighed again and hung his head low, before running his gloved hand through his jet black hair once more, he rested his arms on his thighs before returning to meet Alana's gaze again. He had an idea, maybe if the two were on their feet and actively doing something, maybe Alana could be distracted from needing her fix.

Shooting up from his makeshift seat, Jey placed his hands on his hips and grinned "We won't get anything done sitting around. Let's go look around Lessu for this guy, and maybe see if we can't get into some trouble either." he said with a wink aimed at the white-haired woman. Alana seemed like a fun person to cause trouble with regardless, and she seemed like a good person to have at his back when they confront Gratoa, just in case he really did con the both of them.

Alana stared at Jey for a moment and shook her head, seeing that he was right, and that she was being paranoid. She did need to chill, and quick, else she was going to snap. "Right, right this isn't Nar Shaddaa, no need to lose our cool right?" Alana laughed nervously once again, squeezing and releasing her hands as she tried to reign herself in; with a small degree of success. Her condition was definitely getting worse, but she didn't really have an option to stop it from progressing, she had slowly been on this decline, and it didn't seem like there was any end in sight. Taking both hands, Alana gripped the side of her head and squeezed, letting out a low groan as she tried to force her brain to stop thinking so hard. "Yea, just need to calm down, it'll be alright..." She muttered to herself, taking in several deep breathes before springing up at Jey's suggestion; snoop around and find the dealer.

"Right, right. Sure. Let's go find Gratoa and beat him senseless. I'm down for that plan." Alana nodded, straightening her hat out as she tried to make herself look a touch more presentable. She decided to let the wink that the young man performed side, as she didn't want to risk going on another tangent. He seemed innocent enough, so she'd prefer not to sour his encounters with women going forward; not to mention there was no reason to put him down, he seemed like a good enough guy on top of that. "So, Jey, know where this dealer of ours frequants? I'm sorta new around these parts, so you'd be the leading expert truth be told." Alana stated, crossing her arms as she looked to the young man, a sly grin playing across her face as she wanted to see what all this young man knew.

Jey crossed his arms again, using one of his hands to hook his thumb and index finger onto his russet chin. He pondered Alana's question and recollected rumours and whispers he'd had heard about Gratoa "While I don't exactly know Gratoa personally but I've heard things about the guy." he stated, pausing for a brief moment while removing his hand from his chin and placing it back into his folded arms, "He frequents here a lot, that's how I met him. But I heard the guy lives in one of the apartment complexes a few blocks from here. We can start there" he shrugged, before smirking to himself and chuckling to himself slightly. "Maybe the guy overslept."

With that, Jey and Alana made their way to the dealer's home. Since it would be a 10-15 minute walk toward the apartment complex and Jey hated awkward silences, he figured he'd pass the time and engage in conversation. "Alright, Alana." he said, placing emphasis on the white-haired woman's name for comedic purposes "What's the story behind the hat? Were you born with it? Did you acquire it in battle? Is it a fashion statement?" he asked consecutively in a humorous manner.

Although, he did genuinely want to know what was up with her hat, as he waited for her answer, he stared at her hat intensely - although, he tried to observe it in a non-creepy manner.

It seemed like Jey was willing to give her a shot to prove herself, which made Alana feel a tad better. Still, she wasn't feeling up for an adventure, but she needed to get her fix, or this was going to get really bad. She just had to keep a cool head, surely that would get her by, once she had her stash she'd be back with Ines and all would be well. Yea. Totally fine. "As have I, but I don't think knowing his favorite Twi'lek dancer is going to get us anywhere. But I'm sure you know that." She didn't want to come off as being rude, but there was a little 'tic' in the back of her mind that wanted Jey to just get to the point and stop screwing around. "Yea, maybe it's something simple. Sounds good to me, makes sense." Alana nodded, gripping her hands together as she was trying to switch back to being rational once again.

With some sense restored, Alana would accompany the young man out of the cantina, set on the path to their dealers apartment. She hadn't expected to be asked about her hat, almost everyone just accepted the hat, no one questioned it, until now. It brought a smile to Alana's face as she tugged on the brim of her hat ."I've had it as long as I can remember. Daddy told me he found me with this hat, just can't be without it. It's my thing I suppose, if that makes any sense." She grinned, keeping a tad behind Jey as they walked along the path. "If you want one of your own, I'm afraid I can't tell you were to get one. Sorry if the story ain't exciting, but that's all I got." Alana shrugged, pretty sure that Jey was expecting some amazing story of valor where she slapped a rancor to death and pulled the hat from it's entrails; or maybe she was just coming up with ridiculous stories because she was trying to keep herself from going nuts. At least they were getting closer to the apartment, sooner they found Gratoa the better.

Jey gave a slight frown, while he asked as a joke, he half hoped Alana would tell some grand epic story of how she got her hat. But, her actual reasoning made more sense. Although, her 'daddy' finding her with the hat piqued his interest - the black haired teen proceeded to shift his head to look at the shorter woman "Found you? Were you adopted? What happened to your parents?" he asked, although he gritted his teeth and shook his head when he realised he'd overstepped his boundaries. "Uh, forget I asked that." he added.

Turning his attention to what was in front of them, Jey noticed an apartment complex in the distance. "This has to be it." he said as he began to pick up the pace and rushed toward the complex - coming up to the entrance, there was a wall panel with listings of the home owners apartment numbers, the problem was that he didn't know Gratoa's apartment number. His face formed a contemplative expression as he pondered how they could figure out his exact number.

Luckily, a Twi'lek woman, probably someone who lived here was about to exit the complex but before she could pass Jey and Alana, the hazel-eyed teen stepped in front of her, halting her progress. "Hey, you live here right? Can you tell me Gratoa's address please?" he asked in the most friendly voice he could muster, the Twi'lek seemed suspicious as she glanced at Jey and Alana's blasters respectively - "Are you here to hurt him?" she asked. Shaking his head immediately and faking a laugh "No, no, of course not. He's a very good friend of ours and we just want to make sure he's okay." he lied, although the Twi'lek's eyes were still plastered on their blasters which Jey took note of "These are just for protection, promise. Can never be too safe in this area." he said, patting his blaster with a fake smile.

The Twi'lek pondered for a moment, before ultimately shrugging her shoulders "Okay well, his apartment's on the ground floor, number 66 I believe. Here, I'll open the main entrance for you." she said taking out her key card and using it to unlock the complex's main entrance, Jey held the door open "Thanks so much." he said grinning, as the Twi'lek nodded and went on her way. Jey turned to look at Alan and formed a sly grin "Lady's first." he joked while motioning his arm for her to enter.

Alana snickered at Jey's awkwardness. She understood the discomfort, she was used to it. 'Oh no your parents died!', it was always the same, but she had long since gotten over it. In fact she hardly remembered what her birth parents looked like; which was kinda sad when she thought about it, so she stopped thinking about it and moved on. "Oh no, it's totally fine. Parents got killed when some bounty hunter threw a grenade at their speeder I think. I was pretty young. I just remember they were here one moment, gone the next. Still got my sister around, and my adoptive father is basically my dad if you ask me. So it's all good. Don't bother me none."

Reaching the apartment complex, Alana decided to let Jey do the talking, else she'd probably just set someone off. "Alright champ, sweet talk away." She snickered, stepping back as they tried to think of what to do. When the Twi'lek arrived to start speaking with them, Alana kept to herself, not feeling up to the task of trying to convince someone to tell them what they wanted to know; especially given she was trying to convince herself not to start attacking Jey. Thankfully Jey had managed to get the info they needed, as the room was provided and the woman didn't try to call the authorities; Alana probably couldn't have pulled that off.

Moving into the main building, Alana glanced back at Jey, giving him a small smile. "Nicely done." She commented, as she moved on past him. Though she shook her head. Ladies first was typically another way of saying you were too scared to go in first. He seemed like a nice guy, too bad he was hooked on drugs. The pair moved through the main building, and to say it was sketchy was putting it mildly. Alana just kept to herself, not paying mind to the Toygarians arguing about some sort of betting pool, nor the Rodian who was just laid out on the floor twitching on occasion. Clearly this wasn't a nice place to raise a family. Moving to the door in question, Alana was first to the door. She waited for Jey to come closer before knocking, then put her ear to the door to listen. It was dead quiet in the next room, not a sound to be heard. "I don't hear nothing." She muttered to Jey, before knocking once more. "Hey, Gratoa, you in there?" She asked aloud, before stopping. Scowling, Alana gave it a few moments, before looking back to Jey. "Cover me, I'm going to bypass the door." Something was off about this whole thing, and being totally frank, Alana needed her fix now. She was half past done with this nonsense. Alana drew a small knife from her pocket, as well as a bobby pin, and went to work. She took the knife and shoved it into the hinges of the door, moving it back and forth until she hit the locking mechanisms on each side. She smirked and pressed on the lock, feeling it wasn't exactly in the best state of repair, and it gave. The safety override was triggered, as the door slide open, and the scent of death slammed into the two full force. "Oh, what in the parsec is that?" Alana winced, drawing her blaster and stepping into the room, her curiosity allowing her to plow through the stench. Something had clearly gone down in this apartment, as it looked like someone had raided the room, a large pool of blood was soaked into the floor by the bedroom door, and several pieces of furniture in the room were broken; probably during the scuffle. Alana was none too pleased by this new development, as she looked back to Jey, knowing that they were going to need to find a new dealer; not to mention whoever did this mess.

"E chu ta! What is that?!" he exclaimed, immediately covering his nose and mouth with his hands. Noticing Alana pull out her blaster, he did the same and followed her. Something bad happened here, the place was trashed and their was a pool of blood leaking near the bedroom door. Jey exchanged glances with Alana and sighed "So, you're telling me Gratoa's dead?" he said in an annoyed tone and with his voice slightly raised. He looked around the room and deduced something before returning his glance at the white-haired addict "This place's been torn apart. Whoever did this didn't leave without any valuables, I bet this bastard took the Death sticks too." he exclaimed angrily, he began to feel the withdrawal symptoms get worse now and was growing increasingly aggravated. "We need to find this guy. Now." Jey added.

Jey began searching around the apartment, looking for anything that may be of use that may help them find whoever did this and where they are. "Come on, come on, there's gotta be something here." he repeated to himself internally, over and over again. Nothing, yet. The Force-sensitive teen then slowly approached Gratoa's bedroom as it was the only place he hadn't searched yet - Jey was hesitant as he wasn't prepared to see the body of a dead person... but he needed his one last fix. The door to the bedroom slid open and there it was, the smell was more intense and there was Gratoa's body, laid out in a pool of blood on his own bed - Jey immediately snapped his head back and began coughing violently, trying to keep today's lunch in his stomach.

After a few moments, Jey collected his bearings and shook his head - regaining the confidence to approach the body, Jey searched Gratoa's corpse profusely. "Yes!" he exclaimed as he pulled out a holoprojector from one of Gratoa's pockets, wiping off any blood with his gloves and he began making his way back to Alana with the holoprojector and handing it to her - "This could be useful." he said eagerly.

It didn't take a genius to realize that their dealer was dead. While Jey went into the room to look around, Alana only stood there and tried not to lose her cool. Several questions slammed into her at once, all of them wanting to know how she planned on getting her high after this was all done. She slumped down, hands covering her face as she let out something of a snarl and a groan. She was screwed, she was going to go insane and kill someone all because she didn't get that stupid drug she craved. 'How do you know Jey didn't kill him?' 'He's been playing you for a fool'. Those voices from before were coming back now, their words echoing in her head like the worst possible show tune known to existence. No, Jey hadn't done anything wrong, if anything it was these voices playing her for a fool, least, that's what Alana tried to tell herself. The truth was it was making more and more sense now, clearly Jey had killed Gratoa, stolen his drugs, and was playing Alana like a-no that was stupid, and she wasn't about to buy into this nonsense. Alana took in a deep breath, forcing herself back to her feet as she needed to distract herself with something, anything, before she did something stupid.

Jey was muttering something from the next room, and seeing there was no other path forward, Alana poked her head in to see what was going on. Jey has fished something out of the bloodied corpse of Gratoa, holding a holoprojector in his hands. "Whatta you got there?" Alana asked, her eyes looking a bit frazzled as she tried to get her bearings. "Well, let's see what's on it." Alana took the device from Jey and turned it on, feeling a tad disgusted by the blood that clung to it still. When Alana got the projector to play, a rather unusual scene began to play out. A fat squid faced alien appeared, a Quarren, as well as the unmistakable figure of Gratoa when he was still alive. A small indicator flashed on the device, showing it was the most recent recording. It seemed Gratoa had kept his device on recording when this occurred. "Gratoa, your behind on your quota for the month." The Quarren spoke in a high pitched tone, clearly it's vocal cords not used to speaking basic. "Yea, yea I know, but don't get your tendrils all in a knot, I got two newbies that have a hell of an addiction. I can make up for it in no time once I get my hooks into them." Gratoa proclaimed, his holographic image throwing a dismissive wave towards the Quarren, who seemed to grow agitated by the man's reply. "I don't think you understand the perdicament you've gotten yourself into." The Quarren spoke, as a Gammorean came into frame behind the squid like alien. "Hey, Chonda, what's this all about? You said we were good!" Gratoa began to back up, the Gammorean withdrawing something from behind it's back, and it soon became apparent that it was wielding a vibroknife. "I lied." The Quarren chuckled, it's face tendrils twitch as the Gammorean took hold of Gratoa. The man had tried to fight off his attacker when the knife was plunged into his chest. Gratoa attempted to scream, but the Gammorean seized him by the throat and slammed him to the ground, the hologram flickering as the pig man sealed the dealers fate. When it was over, the Gammorean withdrew the knife from Gratoa's chest, as 'Chonda' gestured to something out of frame. "Grab the goods and load it up at the safe house. Gratoa won't need them anymore." It was then that the hologram cut out, leaving the pair with very little to go off of. Alana scowled and glanced to Jey, the white haired woman not fond of what she had just witnessed. "Well Sith Spit, that's just our luck." Alana wasn't sure who this 'Chonda' was, but he didn't seem to be a pleasant character.

After Alana activated the holoprojector, he watched in silence as the recording went over the events that had transpired. During the recording, Jey's hazel eyes focused on the Quarren - he had seen him before but he couldn't exactly place his finger on who it was or when this was. Jey folded his arms and tapped his boot on the ground rapidly, he was trying to focus on the events happening in the recording but he was growing in patient and becoming desperate for his fix.

Until suddenly, Gratoa mentioned the Quarren's name was Chonda, Chonda! He knew he recognised the Quarren, however Jey would wait to inform Alana until after the recording was finished. Toward the end of the recording his arms loosened due to the shock of what had just transpired - witnessing Gratoa's murder brought back some memories from Nar Shaddaa, bad ones, Jey really needed his fix now. Finally, Chonda mentioned that he'd be taking the Death sticks back to their safe house.

With the recording over with Jey turned to look at Alana who was scowling, she was irritated at the fact that they had nothing to go off of but he grinned at her "I know Chonda. Well--I know of him. Chonda's a big name in the Lessu criminal underworld." of course, Jey knew this because he ran with some criminals for the 'odd jobs' that he did outside of bar tending. Jey unfolded his arms and hooked his fingers onto his chin and began thinking where Chonda's safe house could be... then it hit him "I've heard rumours about Chonda's potential safe houses." he said, thinking out loud and hanging his head low. These were rumours he had overheard from patrons at the Romping Kath Hound as well as ones he heard during the 'odd jobs' he did.

Jey brought his head up to meet Alana's gaze - while he wasn't sure if this was accurate, it was all he had. "From what I've heard around, Chonda's main safe house is apparently on the outskirts of Lessu. Makes sense too, no one goes to the outskirts." he revealed to Alana while he made his way to the Gratoa's front door, the Force-sensitive teen was eager to end this stupid detour.

Alana was taken aback as Jey seemed to know of their target. It seemed like absolute luck, but whatever the case Alana was happy to get to the goods. "Wonderful, so you know where the goods are?" Alana asked, rising to her feet as she waved her blaster around. "So, we need to rent a speeder or something or we just walk?" Alana asked, as she fell in line behind Jey. It seemed like they were going to be getting off to a bit of a rocky start, having to go barreling through some drug dealers safe house? "We can just buy the drugs from Chonda right? Like, are going to need to bargain with the guy or something?" She pressed, perhaps a tad antsy to get ahold of her drugs. As the pair reached the door, Jey would open the door to find two spider like humanoids standing on the other side of the door. One was holding a body bag, the other held several cleaning tools. The lead creature clicked his fangs, both of the aliens seemingly alarmed by the disturbance. The looked at one another, then to Jey, clicking something in Huttese, but Alana knew that the young man was seemingly fluent in Huttese. "What were you two doing in there? Are you on Chonda's payroll or something?" Alana laughed and shoved her pistol into it's holster. "Oh, yea, just checking to make sure the deed was done. You know, make sure nothing was left behind." She looked a tad nervous as the two creatures didn't seemed amused by her statement. "You wouldn't happen to be with the authorities would you?" The second one asked, as he attempted to size up the pair. "What? No, absolutely not with the authorities." Alana stated, crossing her arms as she took a step back, looking to Jey to perhaps get these guys to leave them be before it came to bloodshed.

"Speeder would be better." Jey stated, as he knew the two were now suffering withdrawal bad and needed their fix as much as possible. When she asked her next question, he simply shrugged in annoyance, growing slightly overwhelmed by the barrage of questions and the withdrawal symptoms not helping the fact "I don't know." Jey opened the front door, ready to get the hell out of the scent of death but, not looking at where he was going, he bumped into one of two spider-like humanoids.

The two guys looked like they worked for Chonda, as it seemed they were here to get rid of Gratoa's body and any evidence he died here. If the rumours were true, anyone that worked under Chonda was as ruthless as he was, and so Jey and Alana encountering these two didn't bode well for either of them. He noticed one of them click something to the other in Huttese, which Jey picked up as "<Remember, no witnesses.> the teen immediately became alert and his hand hovered over his holster.

He waited and watched as Alana tried to talk them out of this situation, but they didn't seem to buy what she was telling them. Jey's hand began to shake slightly - either from the stress or from needing his fix, but either way it wasn't good. The black haired youth noticed one of the humanoids move slightly which in-turn caused Jey to lose his nerve as he whipped out his blaster and fired at both of them in quick succession, causing them to drop to the floor with a loud thud with their backs smoking.

Jey began breathing heavily and started to stutter "I-I-I saw one of them move, alright! T-they had said 'no survivors'... they were gonna kill us anyway!" he argued, before cradling his head in his hands "Blast, I-I thought I h-had it on s-s-stun!" he whimpered in sorrow, completely devastated at the fact that he had just taken not one life, but two. The teen fell to his knees and contemplated for a moment, if this is what the effects of withdrawal did to him... made him a paranoid wreck - he didn't want to do this, not anymore.
