There Tak was, in the ring. The floors where a soft concrete material, and there was no roof, we the sun gleaming in on them. The Arena was big, and spectators watched.

Today, Tak will be versing Isaac Frost, whom he heard was mad, but maybe just eccentric. Don't judge people by other peoples judgements. As Tak took a step forward, he bowed to the audience, as par tradition. He would expect the opposition to do the same.

Tak got out his Lightsaber as he split it in two.
He did a hand signal meaning 'You attack first'.

As he watched the young man step into the arena, his arrogance already bleeding off into the crowd, he noticed how boring and casual his approached seemed, especially when the red-skinned 'warrior' knew nothing of which he was up against. How typical it was for the Sith to rush head-first into battle, but either way, a soul reaved was a soul harvested.

As Tak did his traditional bow, he noticed that the arena grew suddenly quiet; so quiet, in fact, that he could hear his own breathing. The audience had stopped applauding, and their hands and gestures remained frozen in time. Not a single sound could be heard from anywhere, nor was a single movement ever made. Even the dust that was kicked up by the wind stayed in place, and a single, solitary piece of ash fell from the brightly lit sky, which was now growing ever darker as a strange darkness began to swallow the sun whole until the entire arena was drenched in shadow. Suddenly, more ashes began to fall from the sky, almost as if it were black snow. As the dimmer lights from within the arena began to let off a feint glow once more, Tak would noticed that the people in the arena were now gone; disappearing without a trace. As the ashes began to cover over the steps and empty chairs, a growling noise, as if a rather large beast were gurgling on it's own blood, could be heard from behind him.

The sky was now tainted by the Darkness, and the only hues of color that could be seen were those of black and gray. It was as if life had been sucked from the air itself, and it became heavier and harder to breath. The growling was soon accompanied by a chattering noise, like a gnashing jaw moving very rapidly. Piles of dust and ash were being randomly kicked up in the arena like something was moving around, but not a clear or steady pace. It was almost as if it were skipping or even leaping every few steps as heated ripples distorted the air wherever the presence went. The sounds of clawed foot steps soon became louder as the ashes began to fling up closer and closer to Tak, the growling increasing in volume as well. The beast was fast and it's movements were rapid, but it's form was invisible to the naked eye..

Growing ever closer, the foot steps soon turned to rapid, sprinting claws as the distorted air began making wave-like motions in front of him, showing that whatever it was, it was about to take shape and maul it's prey. However, just before it reached the front of Tak's blackened, ash covered figure, it suddenly ceased. The ashes stopped falling, and all grew silent once more. That is, until what sounded like someone landing on both of their feet appeared directly behind Tak, only a mere inches away.
