Anyone know of some good generators to use for naming a Chiss? (I'm a big fan of the Chiss)

Name generators aren't that helpful, I find, nor are Chiss names -that- complicated. The important thing to note is that Chiss names are heavily based on which Family you belong to, especially if you're in one of the Ruling Families. And if you are/were in say the Chiss armed forces, you would have been in the Mitth or the Nuruodo families (the Second and Eigth, respectively), or Chaff if you were an ambassador.

The Family name can either be at the start, or at the end, of your name, though the most common being the latter.

Your Core Name, ie: the shorthand for your full Cheuhn name, is derived from the last two letters in the first segment, the entire middle section, and the first of your last name.

Grand Admiral Thrawn is a prime example of that: Mitth'raw'nuruodo.

Mitth = Shows that he was adopted into the Mitth family, and he was a Syndic of that family throughout the novels involving him in the Empire of the Hand.

raw = The personal part of his name, which is the 'unique' bits of it, and makes up the majority of the Core Name.

nuruodo = This is where it gets a bit confusing. Nuruodo is the Second Ruling Family, and has governance over foreign policy and military command, especially officers, but the Eight Ruling Family, the Mitth also have official power/oversight/governance into military matters.

Both Thrawn and his brother Thrass (or Mitth'ras'safis) were born commoners, and when they came of age (10 - 13, which is Chiss physical and mental age of maturity/adulthood) they were both Merit Adopted into the Mitth family. The fact that Thrass has 'safis at the end of his name, and the fact that Thrass opted for a political career and became a Family Syndic, whilst Thrawn at the time was a Force Commander within the CEDF, could indicate that all Chiss military officers take the name of the Second Ruling family, regardless of their actual Family, which would explain Thrawn possessing the names of two Ruling Families, while his equally common-born brother only possessing that of one Ruling Family.

It's a bit confusing, but I hope I helped clarify this a bit. Just think of what your character did or does for a living, and work from that.

EDIT: I poked that 'chiss name generator', and the Core names from some of them are why I wouldn't want to use one.

Rkwati - I have no idea how a normal person could even try to pronounce that.
Iginikai - Okay, I could kinda see that one working.
Siovemr - Kinda.
Ssoraesheg - Doesn't sound very Chiss to me. Ssi-ruu on or Trandoshan on the other hand...
Eqpikb - Wat?
Aqwusd - Ookay...
Hoavuarl - Sounds like what you do after a hard night partying.

These name generators just take a bunch of letters, slap them together, and randomly insert two hyphens, without thought for how it'd actually be prounounced, or what the Core Name would be.

Now, if you wanted a name for a female Chiss, (though this is taken, by me), you could try Thrask'ard'amath, which becomes Skarda. Simple, sounds neat and Chiss-y, and turns into a manageable Core Name.

Or if she was part of the Mitth family, it'd become Mitth'ard'amath, or Tharda. A little odd, but not horrible!

Well, all the Chiss Families are involved with politics, but I'd say Cspala (colonial affairs, agriculture, and redistribution of resources) or Chaf (diplomacy) would be your best bets. Chaf also has the Family Name first.
