Ankir was amongst the settlers in Dromund Kaas city. The planet, reeked of shadow, downfall and the dark side, this pleased Ankir to an extent. For Ankir, the Empire proved to become a valuable ally in his pursuit to reveal the purpose of his creation. Yes, the Hutts may have a degree of help with information brokers, but the Empire had Imperial Intelligence, which held a great reputation throughout the generations. The reputation was focused on the Imperial Intellengence's Cipher agents, diplomacy, assassinations, fixers, and an abundance of availability for information on rumors, truths and lies. Some would say that the Imperial Intelligence has an eye everywhere, but Ankir had both his doubts and hopes on the matter.

Awhile focusing on these thoughts a random surge, a flashback, ruptured Ankir's mind into his sight. Normally this is when Ankir would lose sight and his senses, rending him senseless of his surroundings which landed him in a few oddities in the past. This time when Ankir looked at his hands in the memory, he saw someone else's. Ankir looked back up to see he was in a "throne room" of what appeared to be a Jedi Temple, but the insignias on the interiors looked rather different, as if the Temple had be claimed but a different cult. Then he felt and urge, possibly from the person he is in the point of view of in the vision, an urge to call someone, "How is everything going Lieutenant?" The man that Ankir was calling returned the call with good news and Imperial victories. Ankir then assumed he was looking at the point of view of a Sith, but before he can make a complete observation, Ankir made his way to the throne and sat in it. Then Ankir said in his possessor's voice, "Yes I did get the wine, thank you. Now what was that about a party?" Then the vision stopped and Ankir regained consciousness, outside of Dromund Kaas City and in the wilds.

Getting up as fast as he could, Ankir caught sight of a Gundark like creature and gained its attention. Knowing that he would need to rely on the Force, Ankir focused some of his reserves to his right leg so he can stand upright without the support of his cane. Then preparing another portion of his Force reserves, Ankir focused a blast of Force energy into a Force push in an attempt to either trip to slow the creature. Then Ankir made his way into a normal sprint to the Gundark. The Gundark had not tripped but was slowed by the Force push, this aided Ankir to an extent. Ankir was granted with the upper hand to get up to the Gundark's sprint or better, which would result in a critical hit. That hit was made by Ankir running with the base of his cane pointed to the Gundark like a short lance, but the force of the hit made the Gundark fall on its back. That was when Ankir jumped on the creature's chest without fear, blinded the Gundark by stabbing his cane into the creature's eyes and then continued to stab at the creature's face. "Why can't I control these memories?! Why me?! Why Ankir?!" Ankir yelled with every strike.
