Should I alter the way the way I write Kaata's speech to better represent his species? In my head Kaata has always spoken with long 's', kind of how a lizard would speak, cause you know, Kaleesh are lizards. Example:

"I sssee that you have practisssed exsstenssively to achieve ssuch massstery of thiss technique", Kaata remarked.

I think thay would add authenticity and make Kaata a bit more interesting. So, should I alter Kaata's speech slightly? If yes, how?

I would say look at and reference how Rom writers Vereor, a lizard man of a different variety. So similar, but perhaps more on softer s sounds, or some such.

I always used grevious as a sort of template for how kaleesh would speak. Him, and the kaleesh from SWTOR.
