BIOGRAPHY
BX-166 was built in Baktoid Automata's main factory on Geonosis somewhere after the beginning of the Clone Wars. He had been designated as captain of a small unit of other BX droids that had various missions through the Wars, mainly infiltration and sabotage missions, but one time they had also a mission to attempt to assassinate an important Republic official, but due to complications with the management of some equipment and miscommunications, his whole unit of five operatives got eliminated and he barely managed to survive, failing his mission.
After returning from the mission, just a few days passed and the Clone Wars were over, and with them arrived the deactivation signal, and BX-166 got shut off in the middle of the battlefield on Tatooine. There, he got recovered by the Jawas, who kept him as a sort of trophy that went from generation to generation of the same family. For some reason, no one in the family wanted to sell the droid, also because it was illegal hardware so they thought it would have been better if they hid it. Over a century and a half later, the agents of a Columi belonging to the Crymorah Syndicate approached the Jawa family, offering them plenty of credits and equipment in exchange for the now rather dusty and rusted droid. Initially the scavengers were rather reluctant to give up that rust bucket that was for them a family value, but after some more convincing and rises in the payment, they accepted.
A few days later, BX-166 woke up, to his surprise. He still had all his memories of the Clone Wars, his programming and such... but he felt something... more in him. Like if a block that held him back had been eliminated. He felt new things, especially curiosity. An unknown voice said "You're awake. I've implanted in you a heuristic processor. It enhances your learning capability by the stimuli you experience, allowing superior decision-making." He had been modified and reactivated by that Columi who bought him. The last memories were of him running through the Tatooine desert chasing a soldier, but then suddenly everything went black as he got deactivated.
Since then, BX-166 has been grateful to the Columi, who's name is Zentripoli, but he prefers to call him Doctor Zen or simply Doc. Zen also applied some modifications to his chassis to allow him mounting some functions that could have been useful for his missions. From there, he decided to follow the Crymorah Syndicate for a while, until he discovered the Droid Gotra, which welcomed him warmly like a lost brother even. Since then, the droid does various kinds of jobs, mainly bounty hunting and assassinations.

Description
BX-166 looks like any normal BX droid commando, with the white markings on his head and chest that recognize him as a unit captain, although now they don't have any particular significance since he doesn't have anyone to command to. He's 1,91 meters tall and weights 85 kilograms. There's the symbol of the Five Syndicates stamped on his shoulders, signifying his allegiance to them.
Personality
Defining the droid "cold" would be an insult to him. Due to no memory wipes during the time he had been active and also the installation of the heuristic processor, BX-166 has developed a bit of personality. With fellow droids he's quite friendly and chatty, enjoying to talk about his past as a commando for the CIS, while with organics he's yes kind, but only if he knows them well. With hostiles, he's ruthless and even sadistic, enjoying the thrill of the fighting. When he hunts for a bounty or an assassination target, he's brutal, efficient and even sadistic at times.
Skills
Thanks to his programming and the heuristic processor, BX-166 is very flexible in combat situations, although he prefers to keep a distance from his targets and bring them down with a well-placed shot in the head, or on a limb in case the target has to be brought back alive. He's good in infiltration and also close quarters combat when necessary.
