Banik's endgame involved (I say that because he'll obviously need to revise it a tad now) royally ****ing over the Bogan.
:CSly

Agreed.

P.S.
My saying all this wasn't an attempt to try and protect the faction I just got done leading. Banik's endgame involved (I say that because he'll obviously need to revise it a tad now) royally ****ing over the Bogan.

Good thing I'd be on that side with my Mandos. I'd hate to be on the opposite side. :CSly

If Jedi and Hutts join forces, and Bogan and Republic do the same, it's ultimately going to erupt into a chaotic four-way war. I guarantee it. :CStern

I keep getting this thought about how you were the gent who performed a hit and run attack on the Hutt Capital. Which I think everyone else advised against too. I can't really remember though.

I was the one with the idea. Dropping in at a couple light seconds from the planet for a few moments just to claim we had done so. Considering that we were still thousands of miles from the planet for a very short period of time, I thought it wasn't that bad of an idea. However, people had ridiculous assumptions about what I was doing and popular opposition soon mounted so I wasn't able to carry it out.

It'd be a complete mess.

My sentiments exactly. They are polar opposites, and an alliance would be like mixing fire and gun powder. It'd be an explosively bad outcome.

But, the Republic has been controlled by a Sith before so at least that pairing could work. Not sure about the Jedi and Hutts. Perhaps the Hutts could gain from it by having the Jedi clean up all the criminal competitors within the Empire but I'm not sure what could compel the Jedi to work with the Hutts other than perhaps survival.

People, Bogan+Rep and Hutt+Jedi won't happen. It was a joke. That wouldn't work in the RP. Stop talking about it, lol.

There is no IC way that the Jedi would do favors for the Hutts.

EDIT: Oh, sorry Nex.

ICly and OOCly.

The third timeline also proved that shades of gray and a lack of knowing who's good and who's evil doesn't work in an RP setting. Would it be a cool story? Sure, but a bad RP.

For those who don't know, in the third timeline there was the Republic, the Alsakan Union, the Jedi, and after awhile the Ospion (who eventually became the Bogan). The Republic was pretty shady, and you could totally understand and sympathize with the Alsakans. It made you ask, is the Republic good or bad? Are the Alsakans bad or good? Who is the good faction and who is the bad faction?

Then you had the Jedi. They had a schism that formed the Ospion, and the Jedi did some shady stuff. Were the Jedi good? Were the Ospion good? Where was the dichotomy of good and evil?

Good story. Failed timeline.

You then have to ask those questions if suddenly the Hutts and the Jedi team up. If suddenly good is with evil and good is helping evil to fight good, then is good evil? Is evil good?

It doesn't work in a RP setting.
