TL;DR: if you'd be interested in doing a big, cool death-disabled battle thing then post in this thread to let me know.
Wordy explanation: So with the Sith Empire announced and a growing military force at their disposal, I think it would be fun to do a large battle. It would be open to anyone and use a very truncated version of the PvP rules (below). It'd be more about writing a cool story, having fun, and doing epic stuff than focusing on competitive nitty-gritty PvP.
I want to make this big and epic, but I'm not sure if there's enough interest so I thought I'd put this up as a gauge. It'd be open to pretty much anyone who can justify being there: mercenaries, Sith, Jedi, Republic sympathizers, Republic haters, Jedi haters, Sith haters, etc. If you're interested in doing this, please post here to let me know!
1. No godmodding (controlling other people’s characters)
2. No metagaming (using OOC knowledge for IC advantage)
3. No autohitting (writing an attack as if it has already landed). All attacks should be written as an attempt with the intended outcome explained
4. No attacking in your opening post
5. No OOC lying
6. State your equipment in your opening post or on your character sheet before entering combat
7. Explicitly address all attacks. Failing to do so will result in the attack being an automatic hit
8. Take fair damage. Your character will not always block/avoid/dodge all damage
9. Collaborate to make a good story rather than focusing on winning
10. Don’t exploit vagueness. Ask for clarification
