Battle for Burnout!
The Cartel Needs You!!

huttcartel.png

Gambler's Utopia, a once secretive and isolated asset of the Retrade, is now a station revolved around housing smugglers and space thugs that end up being a catalyst of profits for the Cartel. The space station has proved to be useful and profitable to nearly all members of the Cartel, an easy-access hub to all needed smuggling rings of thug organizations. The ship has recently moved into the Thaereian system with hopes of starting the Cartel influence in Indie space. It was assumed that crime and profit would flow in this sector with Gamblers Utopia at it's helm. With its recent move, so has the movement of the scum and villainy that called the Utopia home.

Although, recent finding have suggested that the Utopia simply cannot flourish as expected. This is mainly due to the fact that there is yet another space station that serves a similar purpose. Agents and business associates of the Cartel have scouted and gathered information of the station. Similar in atmosphere to the Cartel's Utopia, it seems that there is a significant opportunity that the Cartel cannot let go.

As it appears the administrator of this station, known as Burnout, has recently passed away. With his passing distracting those that call the station a home, there is an opportunity for a new administrator to replace the old. The Cartel has decided to move forward with the implementation of an administrator for this new station, and thus being acquired by the Cartel itself. The Utopia has been moved back to it's original position until the turnout of the new station can be secured.

Though more information has been released about the events of the departed administrator's death. It has been hinted that his death has come from the illegal crime organization, the Exchange. We must find out if the Exchange is behind the death of the departed. If this is true, then there is no dubt that they will be vying for control of the Burnout. The Exchange has been known to be an enemy of the Cartel for centuries, although their recent activities has been severely limited. This is in part due to the increased status of the Cartel. Although now with the Bothan war ended, and the Cartel less militarized, the Exchange could sense blood in the water. It is imperative that we show them the Cartel is not to be messed with. If any Exchange members are found, it is advised that they are caught and brought back to Cartel headquarters for interrogation.

DEEP SPACE SHADOWPORT

Burnout_wheel.jpg

Located on the Corellian Run, the Burnout is the pride of the Expansion Region...

Resembling a huge wheel, the Burnout's main fuselage is its central axis, an immense cylinder connected at its midpoint to the circular promenade by means of four spokes. The spokes emerge from the spherical inner-city, which houses some of the most prosperous ventures, casinos and gladiator arenas that drew patrons from far and wide.

Mission's:

Feeling Out the Opposition

Burnout Station is similar to a small city. The rumors of Exchange presence has yet to be confirmed, though it is believed that they hold a safe house somewhere in the station. This base of operations serves as their hub of all their criminal activity on the Station. It's location is imperative to locate and confirm their existence and possibly to discover what plans they have for the station. Agents are needed for either discreet recovery of Exchange intelligence, or a frontal assault on their base to reveal themselves.

The Enemy of my Enemy...

Burnout Station is home to multiple crime syndicates and even more thugs and criminals that the Cartel has set it's eyes on. There is no doubt that finding those who would rather have the Cartel in place rather than the Exchange would be beneficial. The Cartel needs support, we arent in Hutt space after all. We need members to not only gather the support of the stations various criminals, but to aggressively push back those who oppose the Cartel. Things can get violent, and the station is known for having a lax in security, vigilante justice reigns throughout. Show all of those on board that the Cartel is not to be messed with.

Burnout Executive

This is where the main goals of the Cartel come into place. The administrator position needs t be filled and we need to elect a Cartel ember, or pawn to fill this position. There will be little leeway for the Agent to actually have power once they are installed, however they will appear to run things. We must beat out all those who are vying for the same position and make sure the Cartel comes out ahead. Meet with those who elect the new leader and make sure that they understand who they are messing with. All those running against us will also need to be paid a visit. The Agent running for the Exchange will surely be protected, make sure they get the message.

I sincerely apologize for not getting to this. All who signed up will have priority if they still wish to participate, though I will re-open this signup. So whoever wants to join in please do so here, and if you have already signed up I will ask that you just do so again so that I know who is still in or not. I have the missions ready to go, so there will be only the matter of signing people up again.

Again I am deeply sorry.

I'll push Elohim for Feeling out the Opposition. Though I should put out that I have lowered my activity, so my posting won't be set or constant, and whoever is with me on the thread should be patient. So I could be put down as "maybe", I'm totally okay with that. Either way, it'll be finished, I never drop from a thread or anything like that. Just at tortoise speed for now.
