There was something to be said about sitting in the chair of another whose life one had usurped. Hers was only a simple ship, with simple things alongside a healthy bounty pay out courtesy of the Corporate lads in the North. But that wasn't much money in the grand scheme of things, nor did it change her station, but it was a step in the right direction.
A direction she was determined to make great strides in.
Having made her way to Nar Shaddaa on the lookout for someone with a particular talent, one name came to mind, according to the few she spoke to. A simple message passed along would give her a burner number to text from her own, resulting in a strange set of circumstances transpiring.
>Hey, I heard you're in town and can get some paperwork adjusted for me.
>I'll be at the Belching Gammorean Saloon till late
What she didn't realise was that she'd already met this 'Kodi' once before, where they'd both worked together and to this day had not exchanged names beyond nicknames they made up on the spot.
Sitting at a table in the corner by herself in the busy saloon, a fresh tea brewed recently in one hand and a datapad in another, she was shock as anything when the familar face appeared. "Patchy?" She exclaimed, before putting it together. "Or should I say Kodi. Nice to finally meet you, I hope things have been well for you since we...well, whatever that was." It should have, considering he ended up with an extremely valuable artifact from her efforts, and all she needed in return was a ride home.
Suffice to say, one could say he owed her. From a certain point of view, at least.
