ATTN: New Mission: Bombad Prisoner

We have a brand new mission available for 2 Imperium RPers:

Spoiler: Bombad Prisoner

Hoping to gain a critical foothold in the galactic south, the Empire has captured a Gungan named Alto Grega, eldest son of Gungan General Palo Grega, the Supreme Commander of the Naboo Sector Defense Force (NSDF) - led by the Gungans. The Empire believes that Alto, a NSDF Commander, has been given valuable information by his father. The Gungans maintain that Alto knows nothing. Whatever the case may be, NSDF has elected not to mount a rescue operation that could jeopardize the peace and security that the Naboo Sector has been able to maintain since the fall of the Galactic Alliance.

The Galactic Rebellion, on the other hand, believes that Alto could be a means to convince the NSDF to join the resistance. On the orders of the Command Council, an elite Rebel starfighter unit will be assembled in order to intercept the Imperial ship carrying Alto and free the Gungan from captivity. If the team succeeds, the Rebels will return Alto to Naboo to be reunited with his father and people.

The objective: each of the 2 Rebel RPers will command starfighters that attack the Imperial convoy. They will also NPC a Rebel corvette making its way to the Imperial corvette, which will be guarded by Imperial fighters. If the Rebels successfully get their starfighters and corvette to the Imperial transport, they will have won the encounter and rescued the prisoner. Imperial Navy RPers will command their own starfighters. If the Imperials stop the rebels, the Imperials will win the encounter and keep the prisoner for the Empire.

You should also be proficient at starfighter combat.

CHARACTER RANK: Cadet (as of this writing, he's admittedly caught up in Klatooine)
SPACE COMBAT EXPERIENCE: None that's been put to use in story, but this is due to the fact he's meant to fly troop transport more than anything else. Nevertheless, he's a full fledged member of the Starfighter Corps (and one of the very few PC wise), and thus a trained pilot.

Congratulations to Cortan and Silverphoenix, who will be representing the Imperium in the first space battle of the Bombad Prisoner arc. This is the opening to a mission pack that, depending on how events proceed, should have a lot of mission opportunities for both Sith and Imperial characters to get in on the action and begin putting down the pesky Rebellion.
