The Imperial worlds were well defended, better than most, but when monsters began to fill the streets of Ossus every man, woman and child were as scared as they would be any other planet, for they lacked the bastion of light that usually appeared in any other planet when the Exalted arrived: They lacked jedi. And when the best answer against the exalted is nowhere to be found as a result of war-mongering, even a planet as well defended as Ossus would be fighting an uphill battle. The price of denying all the force users, the price of not submitting to Darth Raze.

Yet, despite that and the fact that so far attacks from the Exalted were aimed towards the Core, they were not to be underestimated. So far the other planets that had fallen had been fighting them on their own, but Ossus had the might of a planet spanning empire, even if the Empire had yet to fully recover from their past wars. That's why Gareth, the firstborn of the Exalted, had tried his best to contain the beast within in, to not let it go on a rampage and kill everything that stood in his path alongside the rest of his brothers and sisters. No, he needed to have a clearer mind.

Wielding his Matukai gauntlets and his old White Lion armor, the man walked forward as many beasts charged ahead, letting them enjoy the carnage and spread throughout the planet while herding them towards estrategic areas, being the only one with any authority over them other than their father and leader. Although he looked human, people would still be able to recognize him as the monster that gloated over the tragedies on both Coruscant and Mon Cal years ago. Everyone would learn that no one was safe from the White Lion.

The Empire had already failed to defend their people and allowed this to happen. Killing abominations on the Empire’s front doorstep, potentially saving innocent lives while their government fumbled. Rancor Squadron was here and they would do what nobody else was capable or willing to do. However the only Mandalorian present was the lone dar’manda, Kotii Solus.

Armed with his two ATA pulse wave pistols on either hip, the former Solus’alor was now a humble lieutenant. The echani-offhsoot would not risk the lives others for what he personally felt needed to be done. Even if others shared his sentiment this was likely a one way trip.

Alongside their jetpack resting on their back in a secure place was a “new” R-799 micro missile gun. The antique along with the rest of the badger's armament had double the munitions he normally carried. He expected to be going up against abominations and only the most dangerous stuff he could get into Imperial space would do. Opposite the R-799 was a sheathed beskad long and large enough to carve into a monster if need be.

An amban pulse phase rifle had already been used to wound and kill one of the abominations. Black Hand cooly reloaded the weapon and sighted in on another target running through the streets below him. Kotii kept to cover and never fired from the same place twice.

The range of the rifle had allowed Kotii to keep a safe distance and drop a few chasing civilians. The planet was under imperial rule but a part of Kotii could not help but empathize with the horror the populace felt. The only difference between them was the mandaloian had the means to fight back. The empire could not do it. But mandalorians could. A badger would.

That being said, the man knew he had limited ammunition. The amban pulse phase rifle was a rare weapon and munitions were hard to come by. There were only a few rounds left before the Solus would need to switch to a different means of offense. For now, he was satisfied watching chunks of the monsters flash-vaporize. They did not seem to feel pain or fear but that did not change the fact they lost limbs and heads. They could be stopped. They had to be.

Atuu - always seemingly in the wrong place at the wrong time. His Osprey just finished refueling back at the space port, but the commotion grabbed his attention. Rounding the corner of a nearby street and finding his way to the roof of a nearby building Atuu took stock of the horrendous, hideous, abominations. These are things he had only heard of, but now seeing them in the flesh. Atuu would be on the right side of things. Mandalorian or not - in this moment it did not matter to him. For the Sith and their pets can only be considered a scourge to the galaxy.

With the abominations in sight and a particularly imposing figure at the rear of the mob. Atuu readied his
GALAAR-15 taking note of the other figure present already taking on the foe at hand. Was it another Mandalorian? It sure looked like it.

Letting out a long and high pitched whistle amplified by his helmet to signal the busy figure. Atuu would follow this with a well placed pair of blaster bolts into the head of an abomination moving towards
(@Darasuum). Holding his position on the roof overlooking the field below and poised to provide support to the others on the ground.

General Max Dram leapt down off the back of the Scorpion tank as it pulled into the main square outside the Old Temple.

This was an absolute shit show.

Soldiers rushed from every street to form up in the square, the main fighting barely three blocks away. Max spied an Imperial Knight by the temple steps (@Volene ) and beckoned her over. He keyed the comm to send out a general muster to any and all persons prepared to join the defence, irrespective of allegiance or creed (@Darasuum @Rimrald ). They needed everyone.

It was not that they lacked for numbers. Ossus was a strategic Imperial world, with a million or more troops planetside and millions more now hightailing it here by Max's order. The difficulty was getting them where they needed to be and bringing order to chaos, before chaos devoured them. Every man already here was worth a hundred of those who may never make it in time.

"We draw the line here, bolster and push forward" the General shouted over the distant sounds of blaster fire and death. The officers around him nodded grimly, following the holo display. "The line stays three blocks out" Max demanded "infantry up front, both at ground level and on the roofs. Light armour and artillery behind them, sited at main street intersections where their range of fire will be greatest".

He had emptied the armouries to equip all forward infantry units with flamethrowers in addition to their loadouts, and issued orders for bladed weapons to be carried by all. They would fight the beasts hand to hand if they had to.

"Heavy armour is to gather in two separate Corps, one on each of of the east and west boulevards. Once we have a perimeter, they are to push out and cut a path through the horde. We need to break them up". He dispatched the officers to their units, man and machine racing to take up position and reinforce the line.

The General checked over his own armour and weapons, far from certain he would avoid the fighting. This was bad. Worst than Dathomir. He could feel it in his bones.

Carapace rustled, iron jaws clitter-clacked, and insectoid wings buzzed with the echo of true madness. It watched, yes, watched through all its senses. So much prey here, such prey to devour, such children to make. Swarms of abominations crawled over each and the dead left before them in their fervor to tear and destroy.

Locust of Sorrow's Wail was little different. Bladed limbs stepped snicker-snak over the blood-soaked ground, wings buzzing with anticipation. Clawed fingers writhed against one another in thirst for feeble bones to break and shatter. But most of all, it hungered. For despair, for sorrow, for the impotent cries of the lost as they fell. For new hosts to take away and become the newest Children Raze.

"Praaiizzze beeee," it chittered, muscles twitching unnaturally across its equally unnatural form. Its head turned, sharp, focused. Yes, there. Over there. (@Rimrald) On a rooftop with a little piece of metal that launched bolts of light down below. A shiny, shiny thing. It wanted to crack open the shiny, gorge on its innards.

"Yeezzzzz." The Locust's wings folded and it skittered in that direction, scurrying between building and through alleys, blending in the abominations that ran wild in the streets.

There were many monstrous creatures plaguing the streets, wrecking havoc whenever they went. It would become a common mistake to think that the man accompanying them was lesser, but the ones that did recognize the White Lion would know better, for even among monsters, his human version was among the biggest threats. Those that knew would know despair right before he ended their lives with his bare hands. His Matukai gauntlets went from their natural metallic colors to crimson as he slaughtered the people that stood in his way, soldiers and armed civilians alike crushed wherever he went. However, in order to not let himself get carried away, in order to keep the beast at bay for a little longer, he did not focus on killing those running away, no...The monsters could hunt them at their own leisure.

And so, the Mandalorians would be able to spot him soon after dealing with one of the abominations, blood dripping from his gauntlets. The Miralukan could spot with his vision two of them: One on the ground, the other one on the rooftop. "Mandalorians, huh? This will be fun." The Miralukan walked towards Kotii confidently, arms warmed up and ready to defend himself against anything they could throw at him...It had been a long time since he had killed a Mandalorian, but they were usually tougher to handle, warriors that could prove a problem if they linked up with the imperial forces, so the White Lion would dispose of them personally.

The Locust skittered along, spear legs and serrated front claws crimson with the blood of the dead and damned. It had its prey, yes. It would have them, yes.

From off the side of the building at the shiny thing's flank (@Rimrald ) came the buzzing, rapid-thumping cacophony from twin pairs of massive insectile wings in a threat display. From overtop the ledge a scant few meters away it leapt to the rooftop and it screamed. A screech of madness, like the sound of a thousand giant cicadas in summer turned twisted with malice. The Force Scream was one of rage, greed, and hunger, deafeningly painful to stun and with the physical power to knock the Mandalorians off their feet.

The Locust's most humanoid arms were kept close to its body while the curved, mantis-like appendages up front, heavy with carapace and razor-serrated, were kept in front. They were poisoned to strike and grab while also shielding its less-armored underbelly as it skitter-stomped toward the shiny armored thing.

It might have been more prudent to sneak, await the White Lion but this Exalted had no such thoughts. Only slaughter.

Varyn knew it was only a matter of time. Raze had been burning his way across the galaxy and the Empire would be in his crosshairs sooner rather than later. In truth, Varyn was surprised it had taken this long. Varyn had been almost hoping that it was because he had decided his efforts were better spent elsewhere.

He was wrong and false hope would only get them so far.

The planet was completely consumed with darkness. Not only emanating from the abominations that ravaged the landscape but from the man himself. Varyn knew Raze was here even if he couldn't see him.

In some ways it took him back to Ziost. That feeling of putrid darkness that even in his darkest days he had never truly delved into. It was depravity completely ungated, and it made him nearly sick to his stomach. And yet, he knew that there was a chance to end it all right here.

For all his years of training and his time spent among Jedi and Sith alike, Varyn had no delusions that he was Raze's equal. But equal or not, there was a whole army of Imperials here, and he had to believe that they - together - were enough.

Varyn's appearance, decked out in the bright red armor that marked him as an Imperial Knight, was almost out of nowhere as he appeared beside Max (@Alhon). Only the General would likely have been aware of the Lord Commander's appearance, but Varyn was glad for the General. He had already went up against one of the galaxy's Force-wielding titans and they had come out on top. Perhaps they could pull a rabbit out of the hat a second time.

He's here, he said quietly. His teeth were set on edge, and there was nothing more to be said. There was no way around it because the very presence made Varyn's skin crawl. It chilled him to the bone in a way that it only could do those who could feel the Force's current and how it was poisoned.

An abomination fell after the lethal placement of yellow blaster bolts from a fellow mandalorian. Kotii saw Atuu and gave the warrior a silent nod before returning to his work. Peaking over the edge Kotii quickly acquired a target in the street below chasing after civilians. The amban phase pulse rifle fired again, taking another abomination with the precise marksmanship of the seasoned sharpshooter. Black Hand’s aptly named gloved fingers grabbed for a new cartridge but instead his fingertips found only air and an empty ammunition belt. That ran out fast He stowed the weapon over his shoulder.

<“We should move.”> His suggestion could not have come a moment too soon. At the end of the block a threat made the hairs on the back of the half-echani’s neck. The man was roughly a hundred meters away but that hardly helped the Exile since he was left with his R-799 and his pistols in terms of “long range”. Gareth Gin was a danger that warranted extreme prejudice. But that meant he was going to need to get closer.

The badger heard the mustering request sent to any and all willing bodies in the area and a distant voice a few blocks away but it was hard to make out over the commotion. The Solus did not answer either however and looked to Atuu to see what he was doing briefly only to see the large rising multilegged form of an abomination coming for the two of them.

< “MOVE!” > He instinctively yelled, leaping upwards and back to gain distance from the multi-limbed monstrosity before it got too close. His right hand came over to the left gauntlet and triggered the flight controls. His jetpack would carry Kotii rapidly out of range and the numerous arms and legs of the exalted would miss the Solus with the bladed limbs.

After his feet left the ground Kotii would aim his left arm at the insect like abomination to fire his wrist rocket but would stop short and both hands clasped over his helmet to try and dampen the scream. The distance his jetpack carried him would help mitigate the effectiveness and the man avoided the brunt of the high decibel danger. He continued to try and arc up and over the insect-like abomination, determined to deal with the closest threat first and then Gareth provided Kotii lived that long.

Max had decided to ride with the heavy armoured contingent forming up on the East Boulevard. He was badgering an intel officer for specifics when the Lord Commander appeared at this side.

He?” the General repeated, waving the officer away. A moment later his mind arrived at the only logical conclusion.

Raze. Max had never met the creature that bore the name, or had he found himself facing down its servants until now. He had assumed at first that this Raze was just another jumped up Sith, but month by month the briefings of dispelled him of that notion. This one was, it seemed, actually something different. Something much more dangerous.

You’re sure?” Max double checked, motioning to the men to make ready to head out. Raze had not often been observed leading his forces in battle. Attacks were usually advance strikes, a herald of something worse to come. But even if he was here, did it make a difference? The men of the Empire had but one purpose today, and one being could not see them fail.

Max hauled himself up into the A6 Juggernaut in the centre of the column, sallying forth down the wide street towards the edge of the city, accompanied by Scorpio and Occupier tanks and infantry on treadspeers screening their flanks.

He impervious to heavy ordnance?” Max asked, half seriously. He had seen Sith at their height in his time, but he could not conceive of any single being that could stand against the men and machines arrayed here. The Lord Commander was surely spooked without good cause.

This was not the Mandalorian's first gunfight and it wasn't his first nerve wracking situation either. What this was, was his first time fighting these sorts of abominations. He had no interest in being their next meal as he kept his eyes on the terrain below him.

Although there was a horde, there was relatively obviously one creature in particular making it's way toward Kotii and Atuu. Moving against the general flow of organic traffic on the streets, and ducking into blind spots. Having only dispatched one abomination and taken stock of the supposed leader in the rear - he was prepared to react to a surprise. Anticipating the creature was coming to visit - Atuu had already taken two steps to the rear and had removed an explosive from his belt.

Holding a thermal detonator in his left hand letting his carbine hang around his neck to have his right hand free. With his finger over the ignition he heard Kotii shout
<“MOVE!”> and hearing his jetpack ignite Atuu would click the ignitor, drop the thermal detonator at his feet and launch himself backwards. Serving to create distance from the abomination that now appeared and shared the same 10-15 feet of space as the Mandalorians. Igniting his own jetpack as he went, and rocketing backwards into the air.

He was free of the creatures physical range but the wail that it loosed would cause him to instinctively grab the sides of his helmet, for whatever good it would do. But luckily for the Mandalorians, the thermal detonator's 4 second fuse was ticking - and from the time the creature would likely have started and stopped its wailing. It would most likely be vaporized.

It began as a subtle shift in the air around them. They would all feel it. Even beneath their armors. It seeped through every layer, through every pore, and it traveled up their spine like an icy chill. It was a sudden and abrupt sense of dread. Their fears, their worries, their anxieties would all rise to the surface and they wouldn’t understand why. For any that did not wear helmets, they would see their breaths exhale into smoky wisps. They would see any plants and surfaces collecting frost.

No sooner had the words left General Dram’s mouth when a massive column of his men were abruptly thrown back through the air. The same thing happened again, but on the other side. And just like that an entire row of men was disrupted and cleared from his path.

Dram and Varyn would have line of sight of the culprit, spotting a dark figure that gazed towards them. He only appeared as a man, but they would both know he was anything but. This was no true living being. This was an abomination in its purest form masking as an Anzat. The face was immaculate, the eyes crimson and a stark contrast to the porcelain skin.

The abominations on the planet would heed his orders and the exalted would be empowered by his presence. Raze was a god among mortals, and he was here to consume and destroy everything in his path.

“What a pair,” He said, his voice carrying into the thoughts of the two men before him, “The failed Jedi and the failed Adumari prince,” Raze mused as his delicate lips curved to a smile. He could gaze into them as if through a window. He could see their fears, their hopes, their dreams, their weaknesses.

And they would know it.

The Miralukan started walking at first, but it became quite apparent that they would not wait for him before getting the fun started. With a smile forming on his lips, the man darted forward, the force enchancing his speed slightly as to allow him to clear the fifty meters in a few seconds. Once he cleared enough distance, however, the White Lion would take a giant leap forward and up, taking advantage of the fact that the Mandalorians were too busy retaliating against the abomination currently screaiming at them to aim and fire at him.

This jump would land him inside the building they were currently standing on top of. It would be the last floor, under the rooftop everyone was on, he could have very well jumped all the way to the top, but he had chosen not to, not when he managed to see rockets, grenades and screams being thrown around.

While the Mandalorians would lose sight of the Miralukan and not know his exact wherebouts, the abomination currently engaging him would be able to feel his presence more accurately. Abominations acted on impulse, like beasts, but even they knew when they were joined by someone else within the pack, and the firstborn of the Exalted was a great hunting partner indeed. The White Lion would join his little sibling in the fight soon enough, he just had to clear the full distance first.

There was an irony to Varyn being here of all people. He had been there as a child when the temple had been ransacked by Raze and his gang, but time had claimed them all. All except Raze. He was the only one left from Varyn's nightmares, and one way or another, the nightmares would end today.

When Max asked if he was sure, he shot the other man a look that left no questions. His teeth clenched together and even as the heavy troops began to move forward, a sinking feeling settled in Varyn's gut. He wasn't afraid of death. In truth, he felt he had cheated it many times over the years and lived simply on borrowed time.

Ready for death or not, there was a part of him deep down that feared and hated Raze more than anything else. For years he had represented Varyn's vulnerability, and the Lord Commander would not allow this monster to rampage through his home again. He had left everything to join the Empire, and it was his home now.

Her heard the monster's mocking voice, and he'd have loved to say he could come up with a witty response, but it didn't happen. Kriff you, he spat. Ah yes, the pinnacle of eloquence, but it perfectly encompassed his feelings toward the creature in front of him. He knew of Raze and he knew of his mind games. He wouldn't open the door to some verbal battle or let the Dark Lord weasel his way inside.

His eyes fell to the dead that now lay around the Dark Lord's feet, and he wondered. He wondered how his life might have been different without the split. He wondered where Vahliri was now. He wondered what would have happened to him if he had stayed with the Sith. Would he have become like this? What ifs that didn't matter now.

The orange saber burst to life in his hand and his mind took in their surroundings. We take him out, no matter the cost, he said to Max. That was at the core of this all. If they stopped Raze, they stopped everything.

There was no point in putting off the inevitable. Varyn darted forward, saber at the ready, but rather than a direct saber attack, he tugged with the Force at a piece of rubble behind the Dark Lord, hurling it at the monster's back and preparing should the Dark Lord simply sidestep in an attempt to redirect it toward himself.

The Locust's banshee wail screamed outward, wings buzzing and legs a skitter as it charged Atuu. Its prey tried to fly away and dropped a beeping orb. But the Locust's Force Scream carried enough physical punch to knock an armored Mandalorian to off their feet. The dropped grenade was blown away by the wave of Force power.

Atuu's dropped thermal detonator was launched by the scream's force off the side of the building, detonating "harmlessly" away from the Locust, Gareth, and the two Mandalorians -which meant killing abominations and civilians in its radius. The scream's effects were mitigated by their increased distance. It would ring painfully in their ears as they covered them. It was enough of an opening.

Locust stopped the scream as the prey flew away and intuitively used the Force to enhance the speed and power of a pounce directly at Atuu, bodily launching itself and intending to roughly collide with the Mandalorian. Mantis-like arms would dart out to grab and slice them. If it struck it would send them both flying across the street to slam onto the roof of the nearest other building.

If the Lord Commander’s stoic look didn’t stop him in his tracks, the tightening in the air certainly did. Max rounded, leaping back down from the vehicle and sniffing the air. It was like the acrid scent of chemical bombs, but it had blown in from nowhere and penetrated everything in an instant.

The General braced up as dozens of men were violently thrown into the air, metal fingers digging into the barrel of his rifle as he watched in powerless frustration. Eventually his eyes fell on Raze and he levelled his weapon even as the thing spoke.

We’re not all made for a costume drama” Max shouted back, glad of any precious seconds to get the measure of this enemy. Raze was physically underwhelming, Max could have wrestled him to the ground he was sure. But the guy was a super Sith they said and Max knew Sith. Knew them intimately.

Deal” he nodded to Varyn. The Lord Commander darted in close, so Max kept his distance for now, peeling left and loosing half a dozen aimed shots at Raze’s head and midriff. “Contact, this position, all units, any units!” he growled, pulling a standard grenade from his belt and throwing in Raze’s direction before taking cover behind an idle tank.

He couldn’t see a man alive in the vicinity, but there were many more in all directions. It pained Max to call soldiers to a slaughter, but he had read the intel, how ever much fire he had for the fight. Numbers might be the only thing they had.

Numbers, and luck.

If Max and Varyn thought this would be a typical boss fight where you could simply wail away at the enemy, they would be in for a harsh awakening.

It was true - the Imperials had numbers. And that was exactly what Raze intended to leverage. No amount of armor here could protect their minds. He could gaze into their heads, smell their fear, could feel the hopelessness and sense of defeat already festering like poison in their thoughts. He merely needed to reach in and extract it to bring it to surface.

The wraith lazily raised a hand and the rubble coming from behind him crumbled into nothing, collapsing like dust. The dead bodies were thrown up to be used as a shield against Max's attacks while Raze drew back. There was certainly enough padding from the bodies to withstand most attacks. If Varyn attempted to whirl in with his saber, he'd have to cut through several bodies and also have no immediate line of sight.

Soldiers from all over began to flood in to join the fray to answer Max's call.

Other soldiers witnessed the dead and Raze entered their thoughts, fanning the flames of doubt, despair, fear and every other emotion that made them spiral into dark places. One of the soldiers threw off his helmet, raised his blaster to his head and pulled the trigger. Another soldier followed suit, killing himself. Other soldiers were crying out for their mothers, sobbing uncontrollably and bawling.

At least twenty men turned and leveled their blasters at Varyn and Max, firing a barrage of bolts. They were convinced that killing them was the only way to stop the nightmare.

Imperials had the numbers. Which meant there were just that many more of them to turn into Raze’s puppets.

“I do love a good drama,” The wraith said, at last, in response to the General’s quip. He smiled to himself, disappearing into green smoke and materializing once more atop a building nearby. He wanted front row seats to the performance he put together below featuring the great tragedy of Imperials facing their kin. One by one, several more soldiers - the ones with slightly weaker mental fortitude - continued to kill themselves. They jumped in front of tanks, shot themselves, pulled grenades on themselves and their brethren. Anything to make the mental agony stop.

Varyn had seen the horrors or war before more times than he could count, and it had left its scars on his psyche in ways that couldn't be put into words. There was battle and death, and then there were those things that you couldn't forget. Even when you tried to do something else or change your thoughts, it stuck in your mind.

Today was one of those days. The sights of people mutilating and murdering themselves to be free of Raze's influence underlined two things in Varyn's mind. The first was that everyone down here was already dead, and the second was that there was no length that was too great to bring this grinding evil to a halt.

Hone in on my signal, he said into his comlink to the ships in the sky above.

Soldiers began to turn on him, and he was a whirl of motion. Varyn's expertise had always been the saber more than the Force, and he relied on it now as his second blade came to hand. If anyone had been watching him, it would have been a display of beauty and grace as he slashed bolts out of the sky, twisting his body so that others grazed by close enough that he could feel the heat of them sizzling the air. And yet, he seemed almost untouchable in his dance, as if for that moment, everything fell into place. There was no morals, politics, or anything else. There was just a single man immersed so deeply in the Force that he was a dervish of death.

The fact that the soldiers he cut down would no doubt weigh on him if and when he ever made it out of here, but for now there was no chance for hesitation.

He reached deep within himself and past himself into the well of the Force that surrounded him and reached out with both of his hands, letting that energy redirect through him and into the building. Its duracrete base began to crack and groan as durasteel tore and shredded with an agonized groan. The building upon which Raze stood toppled, sprawling itself across the battlefield and kicking up with it a cloud of rubble and stifling smokey-debris.

The Mandalorians' doubt to act in combat, be it because they surprised by the exalted's attack or something else, would cost them dearly. Kotii's lack of action would make him get closer to the rooftop as his original target took Atuu away, this situation giving Gareth the opening he wanted. Because while the Mandalorians had lost sight of them, he had used the force to make sure he could see them, getting in position to ambush the man from a place he wouldn't quite expect.

Under him and from behind, taking advantage of the Mandalorian's blind spots, Gareth would burst through the rooftop, having channeled the force through his fist to make short work of the only thing that was between him and his prey. Huge chunks of debris would go flying towards the man at high speeds as a result of the great force blast that the White Lion had created. The chunks of building would hit the Mandalorian's back, head and legs alike should they strike true, doing damage, destabilizing his flight and even damaging his jetpack.

All of this, of course, was part of the plan. The Mandalorian would have a hard time reacting to the debris and changing course with his jetpack in time, his reaction time shortened by a surprise attack coming from an unlikely spot from behind. However, the chunks of rooftop would not be the greatest of his worries since Gareth was closely behind them, using them to distract and obscure himself from view, the White Lion was getting close.

Its wings beat like a hundred hammers. Its chittering voice was the baleful wails of dead souls sobbing in vain for their impossible salvation.

Distracted- by the ringing in their ears, by their surroundings, by their expectation that the thing attacking was simply another common abomination, it didn't matter- Atuu failed to defend himself from the Locust's furious charge.

Its huge form struck Atuu in midair much like getting by a small speeder. Serration-edged mantis claws grabbed the Mandalorian tight. The long, hooked serrations shred deep through armor into the tender, delicious flesh of his back. A second later they both crash onto the target rooftop. With their paired weight and momentum, Locust slammed Atuu down against the duracrete surface hard enough to shatter bones and crush his jetpack.(Autohit result)

Vicious and unrelenting, it would shake and rattle the Mandalorian in its malicious grip, seeking to shred flesh and slam the man repeatedly into the rooftop with unnatural strength and ferocity. Its dagger-toothed maw opened and unleashed a screaming, chattering laugh as it prepared to bite, as much mocking as alien and insectile rage.

Hit full-force in midair (heavy blunt force impact, broken ribs), grabbed by mantis arms (grappled, deep back lacerations), slammed into duracrete roof (heavy blunt force impact, more broken bones and disorientation/concussion, jetpack damaged).
