Korriban had largely remained unchanged for millenia now. It was no different now than when Andraste or Kravos walked these sands. And it was just as oppressively hot. Emryc despised the heat, and he was definitely struggling a bit under his armor. However, he absolutely didn’t know Veles or trust him enough to remove his armor. Anyone knowing his identity was becoming a liability. He spent most of the journey watching Huttball or working out in his gym. Veles kept to himself, which suited the half Sephi just fine.

He was fully back in armor and he made his way towards where the tombs of lesser lords lined the valleys. His original idea was to go to Moraband, but he decided he wouldn’t desecrate the sacred grounds there. Emryc’s long strides quickly carried him forward and Veles would have to keep up accordingly.

“It’s about a mile up ahead,” He said quietly, his skin beginning to line with sweat. The planet always had a Sith presence and today was no different. Every now and then a Champion or Acolyte passed by, only to do a double take or gasp when they caught sight of Raze. They also eyed Veles curiously, the Sith Lord slowly gaining prominence for his unique set of skills.

Emryc paid none of this any heed, deciding they could practice some of the alchemy at the sight of a ruin that had a Dark Force nexus. It pulsed with activity and would fuel the efforts of what they would be doing. The half Sephi had also collected samples of DNA and tissue from the abomination back in his ship.

Veles' mind was still teeming with the sheer abundance of knowledge he'd jammed in it on the way to Korriban. He'd spent hours reading basically Raze's entire collection that was not in undecipherable ancient languages, and had earned so, so much insight on all sorts of topics. It would take some time to digest it, but he had all the time in the Galaxy.

He followed Raze's striding steps as the two walked through the red wasteland, ignoring the amount of people that seemed keen to stroll through the desert as well. The looks they got were to be expected, and the Sith Lord was used to it due to his extraordinary appearance, so his mind was focused on something else.

It was hot indeed, so the alchemist was dressed accordingly, unbothered by the problems that Raze was going through with concealing his identity. Unlike the Dark Lord, he was not nearly important or secretive enough to need to hide his face, so Veles had changed into a black tank top and some comfortable black sweatpants, which made him contrast heavily next to Raze, the Sith Lord looking more like someone at an amusement park who was posing with a mascot from a movie.

Raze noted that their destination was near, and he nodded, able to feel the Force nexus as they approached it. The dark side flowed through Korriban much as it did on Mustafar and on Dathomir, but there was an entirely different aura around the entire planet. It was sort of like a home for all the Sith in the Galaxy, whether or not the Empire existed. It had been a place for pilgrimage for millennia, and he definitely could appreciate the history the place had.

They were heading for some tombs, and he idly wondered if maybe they'd have to delve inside and fight something again, which he hoped was not the case. The fight with the abomination had been enough excitement for the rest of the week.
