Venator had to restrain himself from laughing out loud. Who the hell did these guys think they were, making demands of the Chairman of the Hutt Empire? Were they asking to be killed? "You'd better watch yourself, kid." Venator laughed. The Chairman didn't need to bother himself with trivial matters like these. "You're bargaining with the Hutt Empire, and you're, what? Some little group? I know what it's like. I started at the bottom, and now I'm here. Why? Because I had sense. Sense enough not to make conditional demands with the Chairman of the Hutt Empire. The Chairman has made his deal very, very clear. We'll be business partners, yes. You'll still have control over your group. You will be a part of the Empire; you can keep that quiet and still run small, insignificant to us jobs for the Republic. But you will be a loose part of the Empire. The Chairman will not give you orders often, like a regular soldier, but if he gives you an order, you will take it and complete it. I'm sure that you'll have no problem with that, as you're an intelligent man." Venator sighed. "Unless you wish to call the deal off?"

"That's perfectly acceptable, of course."

 

[FaMiLy]

"Obviously you don't understand how we run either, yes you offered me to come here. That offer was taken up to come here, so I would suggest not to be called this and that. I'm being generous I believe, I asked this question I didn't demand it." Eris was getting really aggravated now, this so called chairman wasn't really fit for his job, if he couldn't spot a demand versus a question. Eris again wasn't interested in the words of Gorrbag's little side men. He was interested into Gorrbag.

"Lord Gorrbag, what do you think about the question I have risen?" Eris spoke smooth and fast.

"You got something like this to say to the Chairman, you can say it to me." Venator snarled. This man was playing a very, very fine line. "The Chairman has made his deal very clear; he doesn't debate or barter with those who aren't yet business partners. We've made our deal incredibly clear. I don't really care how you run, we are the Hutt Empire. You are playing a very fine line, and if you want to see this settled then you'd better agree to what the Chairman has kindly asked for. I'm fairly sure you don't speak Huttese, but there was a translation into basic. Tell me, are you hard of hearing? It's a very simple question. Do you accept the deal, or not? We're happy either way, my friend. We don't lose out on much, but do you want to have such a lucrative contract as this?" The amount wasn't worth much to the Hutt Empire, but to a group like them it would be big. "We both know that's more money than you've seen in the entire existence of the Sontebren Crew."

"Do you want the credits or not?"

"I disagree. We won't have a deal then. This is not a meeting but a debate, it shouldn't be as this. Please now hand me my weapons and i'll make my move off your planet and back to my home. If you can't lose much, you can't gain much correct? I hope we'll remain neutral between the crew and the Empire." Eris waited.

 

[Storm]

Venator laughed. "You disagree? Who the hell do you think you are? You're not having your weapons back now. You don't bargain with the Hutt Empire." Venator motioned for more guards to enter, the ones at the door moving to surround the two in the centre. Venator hit a button on Gorrbag's chair, the shield instantly becoming visible and the door going into lockdown. "My Lord Chairman, if you wish to watch the spectacle then enjoy, however these guards will escort you out if you wish." Venator indicated the guards nearby. The two in the centre were surrounded. Venator indicated to Eris' partner. "We bear you no ill will. If you could negotiate on your friend's behalf once we're finished, then we shall increase the credit offer for the inconvenience of having to draw you out here." Venator hoped the second man would appreciate credits more than the other. "Men!" Venator called across the room. "Ready guns, but allow his friend out if he wishes. I advise you not to try and fight back; there's no chance for you." Venator smiled; the death warrant wasn't quite sealed yet. "More guards, just in case." Venator whispered into his comlink, before asking:

"Eris, any last words?"

 

[FaMiLy]

"You assume to much my friend, you threatened me nor did I ever threaten you. You have no idea whom I am and Lord Gorrbag does. Perhaps you shall allow him to speak rather then taking his own power from him. Am I not correct? You're speaking over the Lord you should be ashamed of thyself. I came here as a friend, you try to kill me? You said I could disagree. Now I can't? My friend you're confusing me. You said I could call off the deal, now apparently I can't? You make no sense, you're not a fool. I can tell you that but i'd rather know why you're not making too much sense. Lord Gorrbag if you may dismiss these guards and return my weapons, I'd be grateful." Eris nodded to Lord Gorrbag.

Eris examined around him, He could easily do an action that would off focus the whole Empire.

 

[Storm]

"I never said you threatened me." Venator responded. "Had you done so, you would be dead." Venator laughed. "Take his own power from him? He doesn't have to deal with the likes of you, that's why I'm here. You have no right to bargain with him. If you dare to tell me I should be ashamed of myself, or anything similar, again, you will not live another minute. The Chairman and I have discussed this prior to the meeting; I know full well what we want here. Yes, I did say you could disagree to the deal. I did not say there would not be repercussions. We have given you a deal offering you more money than you could have thought we were going to before you arrived, and yet still you want more?" Venator laughed. "Not smart. We're the Hutt Empire; you don't bargain with us."

"Now, is there anything final you wish to say?"

 

[FaMiLy]

"Oh my," Eris shook his head, "I never asked for more credits. I only asked not to be apart of the Hutt Empire for I am not. This crew is full of criminals, it's only helping your Empire. Do you know what kind of propaganda you would receive? If you're threatening me now with these guards, whom am I to say that you won't threaten me later? Considering I said no, now you wont' give me my weapons? This is all nonsense to me. Yet you still find it affordably a good negotiation? You're trying to threaten me and make me accept the offer? These are only questions. Your assumption is all wrong. Obviously if he didn't want to deal with me Lord Gorrbag here wouldn't be attending this meeting." Eris made his point yet again clear.

 

[Storm]

"Our military is made up of former or current criminals. Bounty hunters, smugglers, mercenaries. You're criminals, you can be assimilated to a looser degree. We won't get any worse proportional for this. And, it's because you said no, that I won't give you your weapons, and why I intend to kill you. Lord Gorrbag came here to tell you the offer. One as high as him does not barter with men like you, Eris. You accept what you are given and you are happy about it, you do not attempt to change it or get more." Venator hit one fist into the other. "This discussion bores me!" He said, as he looked at Eris a final time.

"This is your last chance. Do you have anything final to say?"

 

[Ka've]

Malkav had quickly watched the deal go from a heated discussion to a life threatening issue. If things didn't get settled very, VERY quickly, one of them, if not both, would not be walked away from the room. And from the sound Venator, it was probably going to be Eris.

Malkav spoke for once ".......We shall take your deal...please excuse my friends arrogance. We do not mean any harm or disrespect to the Hutt empire, and would be honored to serve under him. Understand that my friend here" He nodded toward Eris "Has some difficulties in the change of leadership, but that will no longer be a problem" Malkav smiled weakly.

 

[FaMiLy]

Eris was stunned by Malkav's answer. He only stood there. Malkav knew not to speak ahead of him. Maybe he had a plan of some sort.
