Once word of a sighting from Govan's son reached his ears, Gorrbag had several of his spies follow him. When the spies approached him, they only offered a data pad with an invitation to meet on Nal Hutta, where some lucrative business was to be discussed. Gorrbag knew if he was indeed Govan's son, then he would not pass up such a chance to earn some money and powerful friends. The Invitation Gorrbag had sent was towards Eris Sontrebren and his underboss, no one else, and contained a transmission code that would allow them to land on Nal Hutta. Once the Spies reported back, Gorrbag had assigned two of his men he knew would be there as Gorrbag's back up should the deal turn sour real fast. The meeting message was sent to both Venator Furtificus and CDR-382, as well as a few other troops, to report Gorrbag's public throne room and await further orders.Word reached the fleet above Nal Hutta that a Non Hutt ship would be approaching with specific landing landing codes.

The Hutt's throne room was cleared of most sentients that were around, and only a few soldiers were around, as well as Gorrbag the Hutt who was behind a powerful energy shield for his own protection. Part of Gorrbag was wondering if he should have invited The Mandalore to be here too, as it would positively make sure nothing would go wrong.

With a sigh, Venator ran a hand over the helmet of his armour and, for the second time that week, marvelled at how far he had come. It was twenty years later. Twenty years after Venator had stood and watched as his beloved Xenvaer had burnt and fallen from the sky, twenty years after he'd watched his ships destroyed and strewn across the heavens, he was here. He hadn't expected to survive long after the hated Republic, but he had been taken numbly into a life craft by his bodyguard and jettisoned from the city before it destroyed both itself and the Holy City. Venator's fists clenched inside his armour, making a cracking sound against the suit. He had lusted for the Republic to burn, dreamt of it. And now it was at hand. The Hutt Empire had taken him in, and he'd risen up the ranks. Now he had the strength he had once had in the Alsakan Union. No - he had more. The Hutt Empire was stronger, and the Republic weaker.

He was no longer outmatched.

He would not let his feelings and emotions cloud this war. Part of the war effort, however, revolved around allies and supply lines, logistics. Now, what if there were to be a threat to the supply lines? What if there was another enemy that the Hutt Empire really didn't want to have to deal with? There was. This "Sontrebren Crew" was really pissing Venator off. Who did they think they were? Did they think they could ever rival the Hutt Empire? No matter how strong they got, the Hutt Empire would always be able to crush them at the flick of a wrist. Now, Venator was here in his new capacity as Field Marshal of the Hutt Empire. He'd never expected to return to the planets of his youth, nor had he wanted to until he had arrived. He did not look back. His family was happy here, his wife was happy, and he was happy. What was there to criticise about this new life? Venator couldn't think of anything.

But, to work.

Venator entered the throne room flanked by the bodyguards of the Chairman of the Hutt Empire, Gorrbag. Behind a powerful energy shield, Gorrbag gave off the impression of the power he wielded. With a bow, Venator stepped to his right hand side, as would be his position during the meeting. The soldiers around the room were ready, and Venator was too. He'd be needed for this, if things went badly. "Chairman, we're ready. If things go badly, we'll be able to deal with them perhaps before even your shield suffers damage. They won't even know your shield's there, which is to your advantage. I can deal with them myself, and if I need to power up a shield then I'll be able to." New technology like this was good for Venator; his position and influence meant he could acquire one, and the fee wasn't too bad considering his wealth in the wake of this new rank. He smiled; they wouldn't have the sort of gear the Hutt Empire had, nor would they have the training. It'd be children against men.

Now all they had to do was wait for them to come.

Whenever he moved his fingers quickly wearing his crush gauntlets he always got an incredibly amusing feeling flow over him, the chilling noise of hard Beskar moving made many a mercenary look around slightly strartled by such a noise.

This was no doubt the reaction when walking towards the throne room as the doors slid open for him, most of these vermin didn't make him wait when he had a destination and a goal. As the door slid open his nose crinkled at the disgusting sight before him.

Many times he had wondered whether his people were yet strong enough to go out on there own to find challenges worthy and song and tales, sadly the same conclusion came, they were not so needed this piece of Osik.

"Hutt, what are you doing"

Truly he did not know but he heard the hutt was up to something and the slug dying would do little for the war effort.

382 had entered from the opposite side of the room, his armor bearing many signs of damage from the past. The Alsakans were gone, the Republic was responsible, and the Hutts were now the more powerful force to be reckoned with. He did not like them on a personal level, but he never revealed that to anyone here. He took the opposite side of Venator on the Hutt's side after giving him a respectful bow, his helmet hiding his feelings for the grotesque hutt. He has never in his life seen one bigger then Gorrbag, ever. He remained silent when he entered the room, figuring that he would let Venator do the talking unless 382 was asked something.

Gorrbag noted the two loyal soldiers taking their positions as he laughed at their loyalty, a sign that he was pleased with them. That was when the large figure of The Mandalore enter his throne room, easily towering over the other men in the room. Gorrbag laughed slightly at his question as he entered the room.

"Ah, Mandalore, come in. I'm arranging a meeting with two other meats that will be arriving today within the hour. One of them is the son of a former merc that once worked for me... before he betrayed me. I'm here to make sure that he understands that we The Hutts are the supreme force in this Galaxy, and if he is smarter then his father, then he will join us."

"Why not just destroy them if you are so worried about them? I'm sure even your incompetent force of vermin and criminals can dispose off them...If you throw enough at them of course"

Mandalore took great pleasure in disregarding the army of the Hutts, it always good to get a reaction out off the "soldiers". There sharp movements forward followed by the realization in there brains that it wasn't the smartest thing to do, most amusing. Though a machine had just entered the room, he had heard of these machines before, a challenge no doubt.

The Devil's Blood, Malkav's ship, dropped quietly out of hyperspace above Nal Hutta. Malkav was in the cockpit, Eris by his side. They watched the the planet from up above, easing the engines to a slow approach.

What a disgusting planet....Malkav thought

He turned to Eris and said "So do you feel alright about this meeting?" He checked the power of the ships guns just in case as he was waiting for a answer.

"If my father had joined this slug, then i'm sure he's something to be looked upon, am I wrong?" Eris was satisified that the meeting was going to occur. Maybe he could make a new friend, hopefully not a new enemy. As the Devil's Blood appeared in front of the hanger he was directed to go to the plan dropped down and it's landing gear stretched out. Eris appeared on the walk way that ended at the ground. The planet was a monster planet, all there was, was those Hutts, and a few other creatures here and there. The planet was new to Eris he had never ventured upon it. It was a restricted planet, although he was sure he could get on it. He never attempted.

"Hey you!" A nearby hutt soldier called, "Follow me."
Eris indeed followed the soldier, he lead both Malkav and Eris to a nearby palace. There they ventured into stair wells of mass beauty and soon came upon the doors to the large throne room. The doors were merely as tall as Eris doubled. The hallway in which they were standing in was massive, beautiful, and unique. The doors slid open as Eris and Malkav both hopefully walked in. They appeared before all the men in the throne area.

"Hm." Eris hummed, "Greetings Gorrbag and the rest of you. As you can see I come without any hesitation. There's no guards, guarding me. No soldiers here, except for Malkav. My close friend and business partner. I want to discuss matters formally, not in disgrace."

Venator chuckled to himself at the Mandalore's words. Who did these Taung think they were, with their honour codes and big egos? The Hutt Empire could crush them if they needed to, although Venator didn't want to challenge such formidable soldiers. No sense in antagonising the Mandalore now, though; they were at a meeting. A united front was what they wanted, and a united front was what those meeting them would see.

As those they were meeting stepped into the room, Venator motioned for the guards to block off the doorway unless otherwise told.

As Venator heard the man's fine words, his lip curled. Who the hell did he think he was? "Mind your manners when in the presence of your betters." Venator snarled, two guards stepping over towards the two and standing nearby. "You will refer to "Gorrbag" as "Chairman", or "My Lord", and you will refer to "the rest of you" as "Field Marshal" and "Mandalore". This will be allowed to slide this time, but remember we are far more powerful than you. You are not our equals. You're nowhere near unless you're our allies."

Venator smiled.

"I'm glad to see you brought no soldiers, as asked. I'm sure we can now get to business."

Malkav's eyes shot wide open at the armored man's comment. Anger swelled up inside him. His eyes darted back and forth, scanning the room for exits. There was the way they just came, but that would probably be locked if they tried anything. In fact, it might have been locked already.

Who do these..slugs think they are?

We could kill them....

Do you think?

Malkav secretly scanned the room for his opponents, each looking equally tough, except for the slug of course, but who knew what secret weapon the Hutt had. Hutt's were known for that, and Malkav was all but certain that the Hutt had something planned if the meeting went sour. A tung to his left, and some...machine stood on his right.

We couldn't take all of them

Be ready if we have too..

Malkav called out to the Force to calm himself. He felt the cool, calming sensation enter his body, just as it had a million times before. He twisted it, calling upon his rage, hurting the calm power until it was like a hurricane inside him. He would be ready if they wanted to leap.

Malkav stayed silent. Better to let Eris do the talking...Malkav's mouth would betray them both.

CDR-382 watched as events unfolded, The Mandalore was now there in the Hutt's presence and now the Criminals that the Hutt was to deal with were here too, already having to be corrected by Venator on manners. This was a perfect time to agree with The Mandalore's plan and take both of these men out now, as much as 382 liked that idea. However, he just watched the two criminals, making sure none pulled a gun out.

Gorrbag was pleased to have the two leaders of The Sontrebren Crew. That pleasing look was soon turned into a slight frown from their disrespect from their entrance due to lack of respect.

"Greetings, both of you. You must be Eris, I see the resemblance from your father. I wish to discuss a profitable business with the two of you concerning your organization and this fine Empire you witnessed on your way. To ensure everything will go peaceful, I have these two fine soldiers here at my side and The Mandalore over there. So let us get down to business now, shall we?"

"We shall." Eris noted to the one that talked before Gorrbag, "He's an old friend of my father, the family runs as me calling by his real name. If that's a problem then you have ought must disrespected my family and it's traditions. I'm sure Gorrbag dosen't mind. The stories i've witnessed told me that Gorrbag here, and my father used to be good friends. That's why i'm here today otherwise I wouldn't be."

Eris motioned his hands while he spoke. "Anyhow, business we shall speak over. I wish to have this meeting out of the way. We both have other business to intend to I assume. After all you are the Hutt Empire's lord, also please do not threaten me with your guards. I came in here a a friend. I wish no harm." He was referring to Gorrbag about the business statement, the other Mandolarian about the guards.. Gorrbag had a positive position in Eris' mind. The others did not, he didn't care nor would he ever care about the others in the Hutt Empire. Only Gorrbag.

"Ah Ah Ah, To prove I mean no harm. I will show you." Eris slowly grabbed onto his blasters, he grabbed the tip of them in order to prove he couldn't push the triggers. He placed the blasters onto the ground and kick them over and about to the Throne. They both sat there, he brought his other hand to his Hilt and slashed out his blade. He placed the blade respectively onto the ground, as it was his fathers.. "Good enough?" Eris assumed it was.

"While we are conducting business in the presence of others, you will do well to listen to the advice given by Field Marshal Furtificus. You will address me as "Lord Gorrbag"."

Gorrbag warned, willing to let it slide this once. He was no longer some Hutt crime boss over a group of thugs, he was now The Grand Hutt over an Empire of Hutts who held more power then all the criminal organizations put together. Once he saw the good faith of Eris when he kicked his pistols over towards the center of the throne room, Gorrbag knew that he held great trust for him and wanted to end this peacefully.

"Yes, it is. Captain 382? Confiscate the weapons until our guests are ready to leave."

He told CDR-382, who in turn nodded his head as he went to pick up the two blasters and went over to a crate against the wall and set them and the blade he grabbed inside the crate before closing it. He then turned back to the soldiers before placing his index finger into his helmet visor before pointing it at the two crime bosses, motioning that he would be watching them before returning to the Hutt's side, clearing his throat once.

"Now then, it's obvious what we do in our Organizations is frowned upon by the Republic and the Jedi. The Hutt Empire is the largest organization in the Outer Rim that can rival the Republic's army, and anyone else who tries to get in our way of business. You have not set up operations here yet, but it is a matter of time before the Republic starts to snoop around in your business. You know where I am going with this, so to put it bluntly, I want you to have The Sontrebren Crew become apart of The Hutt Empire, I want you to work for me. You will still be the Boss of your crew, you will still have your soldiers, everything will be the same. I only require that you answer to me, and help me win this war the Republic has waged on us."

Malkav didn't like giving up his weapons. He watched as Eris kicked over his blasters, and the fat slug giggle like a school girl in glee, his chins jiggling all along with him. Malkav was not pleased.

The machine came and picked up the blasters on the floor, and then looked at Malkav. He had two pistols on either side of his hip, and a lightsaber dangling on his belt. Malkav stared back at the machine and crossed his arms. They would not get his weapons.

He listened quietly as the Hutt tried to sell his proposition. Malkav coughed when the Hutt mentioned the Sontrebren becoming part of the Hutt empire, it was all he could do to stop himself from laughing.

Eris stepped forward, doing so he rammed a bit of his shoulder into Malkav's. To stop him from coughing, he knew he wanted to laugh just as much as he did.

"Lord Gorrbag, I understand your reasons on why you want this to be done. But you know just as well that I do, that The Sontrebren Crew hates both the Jedi and Republic with a passion. I'd like to offer a new proposal for you. Instead of becoming apart of your Empire, why don't we just work out of your empire? Such as mercenaries, yes mercenaries."

Eris waited for an answer, over the wait he thought about how his crew didn't really have a great love to show for the Hutts. Many of them tried to run the crew out of business in it's early years.

Gorrbag narrowed his eyes on Eris, then started to rub his chins slightly with his hand, obviously thinking on the deal. Just then, a door opened where Venator had entered through and a female human with hardly any clothing on came in with a tray with a bottle and three glasses as she approached the energy field that contained Gorrbag. She then set the tray down and poured the ale into all three glasses as she picked up the tray once more and set it on a sliding panel near the the wall so the tray with all three drinks went onto the other side where Gorrbag was. Gorrbag looked to the three poured drinks as he grabbed one and chugged it down just as the serving girl left, giving a smile to Venator, showing she was especially high on whatever drugs were forced into her.

"Eris, my boy, you have alot of courage for attempting to bargain with me. I admire that in a person. Unfortunately, I like the sound of my idea better, but perhaps your idea can be forged into it. So, we can go with you working for me while you and your friend there can run your little Organization however you see fit. I only require your loyalty and any hot discoveries on the Republic be sent to me. As for your little plan on working as mercs, I accept since I am always in need of some competent followers."

"So considering the circumstances, were your mercenaries, rather then apart of your Empire? Yes, we work for it, but it doesn't mean were apart. Lord Gorrbag, you yourself used to be once a great crime lord. You can see why I'm so hesitant on suggesting that were in the same Empire together. An empire and a criminal organization doesn't fit a well description. Do you not agree? By all means you are a friend to me."

Eris stood tall, he was proud to say what he had said. His father's accomplishments made him who he was today. Gorrbag knew his father was a great person, otherwise the ever so famous Gorrbag The Hutt wouldn't of taken him into his wing. Eris couldn't lie to himself, he wasn't afraid of the Hutt. But he didn't want to double cross him.

"I have another question. What shall The Sontrebren Crew have in return?"

((OOC: CDR-382's not a machine, just so you know...))

Venator's face darkened as the boy Eris still refused to show respect, and he was ready to teach him some manners and tell him that he did care less about Eris' family. Gorrbag, however stepped in over the top. Venator knew that was fair enough. Venator's face darkened further as one of them refused to give up his weapon, and had two guards silently shadow him just in case. And this Eris boy... He was playing a dangerous game. Was his life not good enough? No, of course not. Venator could still remember the days when he'd bartered for what he earnt. Now, his reputation preceded him, and he was hired. He wouldn't even have attended a meeting like this were it with someone he didn't entirely trust; it was way too easy for them to kill the Sontebrens, if they wanted to. Which they didn't. "Credits." Venator spoke up. The Chairman didn't have to barter like a common criminal Lord. "In return, you get credits. And a degree of protection from my forces." Venator showed tossed them a datapad, with the credit number on it.

"I trust that'll be satisfactory."

Mandalore actually thought he may die of boredom, the never ending back and forth between these pathetic beings was beyond boring. The arrogance portrayed by all sides simply for being the first to do something, the first to raise an army against the Republic form outside the core, the first to be a half way decent rag tag band of mercenaries.....One day they would fall beneath his heel

"Could we perhaps speed up this never ending back of forth, you are arguing about boring details that are aging me beyond my years, agree to this deal now or I fear Arasuum will take me."

"I agree with The Mandalore. There are more important matters we should be focusing on now. I suggest you two take what you were offered."

382 said, breaking his silence that he kept during the entire meeting. Standing here and listening to Gorrbag and this Eris kid argue and barter for better deals was tiresome. It was obvious to him that Eris and his associate were stalling for something and wanting something much more bigger then Gorrbag was willing to offer, and it was pissing 382 off.

Gorrbag folded his hands in his fat lap, releasing a sigh as he chugged down the last glass of ale he had, licking his lips. Eris did not seem to understand how things out in the Outer Rim worked, but he would soon enough. Venator had already offered Eris what Gorrbag told Venator, and so he waited for a reply from him. Though he did admit to himself he too was getting bored from this ordeal... and hungry.

"I'll take the offer on one condition. I'm not working under your Empire nor am I in any control of this Hutt Empire. I'm certainly only a mercenary faction that'll be in direct contact with you. So were more over business partners, I am personally agreeing to the alliance that was going to unfold. Otherwise I wouldn't of came, I took thought. Do you agree on that term? Then everything else in this meeting will be agreed on." Eris folded his hands across his chest this time. Taking his turn.
