Banquet Hall A, Imperial Palace, Taris

OOC: Open to Sith/Imperials

Music

As she stared at the sleek black credit card in her hand, she still didn't believe it, she was a Champion now. She had been surprised by the number of zeros in the card's limit, just the funds she could draw upon now as a Champion might make all the added hassle be worth it. So, as any responsible teen with a newfound sense of freedom, way more money at hand than she could responsibly spend, and the knowledge of the disastrous results of her last attempt at throwing a party, Ashla had done the most logical thing she could. She had thrown another party.

Of course this time she had been smart about it. For starters she had actually booked a venue, one of the smaller halls in the Imperial Palace that she actually had the authority to book for events. No stealing of buses this time. And she had only invited a small group, friends and close acquaintances, a small, cosy gathering. No way could this go badly, she thought as she walked into the Palace with an eager grin on her lips, and excitement in her step. That was till she reached the hall she had booked, and found it empty. Her first thought was to pinch herself, worried that she was having the nightmare again, the one where she invited people and no one showed up. But no, this was real, she was living her nightmare. She was pulled out of her thoughts by a voice speaking up, and she turned to see a nervous acolyte.

"I'm sorry my Lady. But your event was moved to Banquet Hall A."

"What? Why?"

"It's bigger."

A few moments later Ashla found herself outside Banquet Hall A, strobing lights visible from behind the door, the sound of music thumping beyond. As she opened the door she found not the intimate gathering she had planned, but something that could only be described as a rave. Frantically she pulled out her datapad, wondering what had happened. Opening up her spam folder she found way more RSVPs than she had expected, and with a growing sense of dread she pulled up the invite she had sent out.

> Subject: Party time!
> Party time ya'll!!
> ....
> P.S. Drinks and "stuff" on me, so prepare to go crazy!
>...
> To: @Sith-Personel-All
>...
>...
>To: @Sith-Personel-All
>...
>To: @Sith-Personel-All
>...
>TO: @SITH-PERSONEL-ALL

She stared at the mail for a good minute or so, and then looked at her contacts. Staring out at her were two entries, Sith-Peeps, and Sith-Personel-All, sitting right next to each other. This was a nightmare, and a simple pinch wasn't going to be enough this time, this time she needed something more to wake her up. Maybe she could convince Altair to stab her with his horns, straight through her heart, that should do it. As a couple pushed past her and stepped into the hall, giving her the finger as she got in the way of their enjoyment, she could only watch their backs as they vanished into the crowd. The crowd that filed the stupidly large banquet hall, and were taking part in all sorts of debauchery....all at her expense.

"Well fuck."

The invitation had come across Aadya's email and at first she ignored it. As she went to delete it and to change her settings to mark future emails from Ashla as spam - who the hell actually sends party invites to @Sith-Personel-All??? - Aadya couldn't help but feel the slightest tug to reply "Yes" to the RSVP. It had been awhile since she'd hung out with Ashla, and there was an open bar...

Ah fuck it. She said, slapping that "Yes" button and jetting off towards the venue.

Aadya arrived just behind Ashla, catching her friend just as she uttered her disbelief at what her party had become. Coming up behind the Togruta, Aadya gave her a playful elbow to the arm and laughed at the scene already unfolding inside the ballroom. She was wearing a new dress that she'd just gotten but hadn't had a chance to bust out yet. Too much time spent with Darth Raze recently, he didn't really seem the clubbing type.

You really pushing the limits on the Champion credit limits, girl. She said, hooking her arm around Ashla's. Let's go dance.

Aadya wouldn't really give Ashla much of a choice, dragging her friend into the ballroom and towards the more raucous parts of the dance floor.

As if she wasn't already feeling about the life choices that had brought her to this moment, she turned to the nudge to spot Aadya dressed in the most stunning dress imaginable. Ashla looked down at her own attire, if Aadya was any indicator she was going to be supremely underdressed. Well, if she was going to get broke at least she would end the night looking the part.

She didn't object as Aadya pulled her to dance, and along the way she scooped up two drinks from a passing server's tray. She didn't care what it was, if she was going to survive this night without dying of shame she needed to be drunk.

"I need to get drunk," she told Aadya as she pushed a glass towards her, "to bankruptcy!" Not giving Aadya a chance to respond, Ashla downed the drink in one shot, and tossed the glass over her head, sending it flying Force knew where, before snatching another glass from a nearby dancer and downing it as well. It was only with two drinks in her that she started dancing, willing her body to get drunk so that she could stop worrying and start enjoying herself. The guy whose dress she had stolen was about to say something, till he noticed Aadya, and his eyes just stayed glued to her.

"Hah, as if!" Ashla laughed at his reaction, and pushed him away as she stepped up to Aadya to begin dancing, "She's way out of league chum, shoo!"

"...the unmasking of elusive Sith mythological entity, the Eternal. Jedi insiders report that the artifact has been contained and--"

BZZ

Veles lazily shifted his head to glance to the left at his datapad, away from the massive screen playing the news in front of him. The screen was lit up with a notification that he couldn't see, so he reached out to grab it, only for his entire body to follow his arm. The Sith Lord fell off the couch and slammed his shin into the caf table, landing with a crash. "Ah! Fuck! Altair what the fuck did I tell you about moving my goddamn cushions around?"

He rose shakily to his feet, bone in his shin still throbbing, and grabbed the datapad. "Drinks and stuff on me? Go crazy?" he echoed the words aloud, furrowing his brows. Then, his face lit up. Storming down the halls of the ship, he made a beeline for the cockpit, where his pilot droid was sitting, staring straight ahead at the streaking stars as they tore through hyperspace. "Change trajectory to Taris," he ordered, and the robot turned its head to face him.

"My Lord, I'm afraid that would not be possi--"

"Yes it is, I didn't ask, and neither do I care. Hop out of hyperspace and change trajectory to Taris before I disassemble you and use your audioreceptor as an ashtray." With that, he spun on his heel and walked back into the depths of the ship. Passing by Altair's room, he slammed his fist onto the door, resulting in a bang that echoed through the craft.

"We're going out, wear something nice," he called out, striding toward his quarters.

It had been far longer than he'd like to admit since his last rave, and Veles was more excited about this than he'd been about the Mandalorian victory on Lothal. It had taken him roughly two hours to get ready, sifting through several closets' worth of clothing until he settled on an outfit that drew heavy inspirations from Coruscant's Level 2038 party scene in the '30s (ABY). The leather trenchcoat was a bit stuffy, but he did not let it bother him as he walked down the hallway with Altair at his side and a cigarra between his fingers, taking frantic, long drags of it as they searched for the ballroom. He'd only downed a couple of shots before coming, since apparently drinks were free and he wanted to take advantage of that as much as possible.

"I think we got stood up," he murmured, half to himself and half to his apprentice. He poked his head into the ballroom that had been announced in the message. "There's no one her--"

His eyes darted to a massive banner hung in the center of the chamber that said "PARTY MOVED TO BANQUET HALL A". "Never mind."

It didn't take long for the two to finally find the correct spot, and as Veles stepped in through the massive double doors, his facial expressions depicted him going through the five stages of grief as the music struck his ears. Settling on a scowl, he reached into his robe and pulled out a small pouch, sticking his fingernail in and putting it under his nose.

"This music--" he snorted suddenly, "--is awful." He picked up the pace as he strode toward the DJ's booth, choking a bit on stray spice that managed to lodge itself into his throat instead of his brain. Already feeling a bit more energized, he stopped in front of the DJ and threw him a datadisc. The Sith Lord didn't need to say anything. The man already knew what he had to do.

Abruptly, the music changed, and it seemed the crowd grew even more hyped up. At last, Veles turned to Altair, who hopefully was still with him and hadn't gotten lost in the sea of people. "Let's get a drink."

"...What am I even doing." The Kaleesh acolyte muttered to herself as she entered the party. Last time she had been to one of them it had been...Not great, to be honest. She ended up getting kicked right in the head then cracking it against the ground after getting shot by the police, followed by a really nasty fall that left her staining the streets red and, worst of all, leaving a crack on her mask. Truth is, the shame of that night would never leave her.

That being said, Anai was no quitter and she for sure was not going to just isolate herself, she had learnt a bit more about the galaxy as a whole since the last time and she was gonna try her hardest to not stab people in the middle of the party once more. For starters, she had actually bought herself a dress, it felt a little too tight for her tastes but she remembered plenty of people wearing similar stuff back at the party bus, she should fit in wearing it, hopefully...Specially since she had also left the bone mask at home.

Her Kaleesh mask was something very important for her, truth is she felt quite anxious at the prospect of not carrying it with her...But not only did it make people stare at her weirdly last party, it also got damaged in the dumbest way possible, Anai didn't know what she would do if it was broken, if she lost her most treasured item from back home in such a manner, if it had to break, it would be during battle and Anai would die alongside it.

Anai wandered around the party, not knowing where to start this time before noticing an alcohol bottle on the floor, snatching it right under its owner's nose. She had learnt last time that using alcohol was a good way to break the ice, her gameplan would be to find people she could be comfortable around and share the bottle with them, simple enough, but it should work, right?

There wasn’t much hesitation for Vahliri to reply ‘yes’ when she received the invitation from Ashla. There was a near-zero chance that the half-Sephi was going to leave her friend hanging, and it had been some time since the entire incident with the party bus - meaning that Vahliri was downright itching to get out of the academy.

With any luck, this one wouldn’t end in anyone getting arrested.

Vahliri arrived at the venue just behind Ashla and Aadya, dodging around another couple that waltzed towards the entrance as she made her way towards the pair of champions. Her black hair was styled loosely and cascaded down to her shoulders, while the air around her was sweetly scented with the girl’s perfume. The half-Sephi had picked out a new item from her wardrobe for the occasion - wearing a low-cut, white sequin dress. It was accessorized with a few glittery bracelets on either wrist, earrings and a thin necklace that hung low in her throat.

The half-Sephi strolled right up to Ashla, greeting the Togruta with a wide smile. “Talk about a kick-ass turnout.” She said, giving her friend a playful nudge before swinging one arm around her shoulder and giving her a squeeze. “Thanks for the invite, Ash.” Vahliri glanced over at Aadya, greeting the champion for the first time with a smile and small wave of her hand. “I’m Vahliri.”

She watched as Aadya proceeded to tug Ashla off to the dancefloor, snickering softly and giving them a wave as they went. The half-Sephi glanced back towards the entrance, checking to see who else would be arriving, before making her way inside.

Malou almost decline the invitation. Almost. She didn't for two reasons: one, Ashla was her friend and she hadn't seen the Togruta in a while, and two, she wanted to let loose for once. Do her hair, slip on something she wouldn't dare wear in any other situation, and get really fucked up.

The party was already alive by the time she arrived, and the blindfolded woman could feel the pulse of the electronic music through the floor and in her chest. She wore a strappy black dress that hugged her figure and a cropped, red leather jacket over it to give her a bit of coverage. Her first goal was to get enough alcohol in her system that she didn't feel the need to cover herself with the jacket.

Where is Ashla? Her Sight roamed the space, then spotted the Togruta just as a familiar face drug her to the dancefloor. That was alright. She could catch her friend later. Even if she tried to yell out, between the music and the crowd, there was no way she'd hear Malou. Oh well.

The Miralukan stood by the entrance for the moment, searching for wherever people were getting the drinks she was seeing. A man bumped into her, managed to squeeze out an apology between breaths of laughter, then stumbled his way towards the dancefloor. She watched him walk away, then turned and walked the way he'd come from. Just as she'd thought, he'd come straight from the bar.

Malou reached the bar, squeezed past the surrounding crowd, and ordered shots of something. She downed them, one after the other, relishing the burn in her throat after each drink. Someone handed her a bottle, and she readily accepted it. Who else is here? She began to search the party, looking for a familiar face.

Altair was totally hotboxing and dropping some hallucinogens he acquired from Cairo in his room when his Master banged on his door. The acolyte abruptly sprang to his feet, his eyes completely glazed over as he furiously wiped his nose. He ran over to remove the towel from the bottom of his door, clearly missing the memo about ‘dressing nice’. The tiefling caught the words ‘party’ and that was about it. A quick exchange with Ashla and others confirmed it was a rave of some type..or something. Naturally he called up Cairo to see if his bro was going.

Within moments, he was walking alongside his Master, tripping balls and spiced out. He silently nodded along as he walked down the corridor, trying to ignore the fact that the walls appeared fuzzy and velvety and he wanted nothing more than to rub his face on it. When Veles said the room was empty Altair simply stared into the room for a few seconds. He could have sworn the backs of the chairs were moving and swaying. The room didn’t appear empty to him.

“What you mean stood up? We’re standing right now..” He said dumbly. Fuck, he definitely outed himself with that dumbass remark. Veles would tell he was spiced out of his mind.

It took him a second to realize Veles began to shuffle away, and he quickly followed, shaking his head. As they arrived into the scene, Altair was completely overwhelmed by the sounds and colors. He turned and nodded to Veles, “Yeah fuck this music!” He said, following his Master over to where he went to get some drinks.

Altair was certainly not dressed up, but he purposely opted to show off his muscled torso with his fit along with some shades to cover his blazed eyes. There was bandana around his head, intricately wrapped behind his horns. His hair was actually styled, his wrists adorned with multiple beaded bracelets. He wore pants that allowed for mobility along with some brightly colored sneakers that matched the color of his bandana. The tiefling planned on dancing his ass off tonight. He looked around and scoped out all the Sith, his eyes widening as he ran directly into Veles back and almost knocked them over over. He barely managed not to gore his master, stepping back.

“Sorry, I-” He looked around, “These females are looking fucking fine tonight, Master,” He blurted out rather loud what he thought was actually a line of thought in his head.

Slowly but surely, the spice hit, sending waves of energizing pleasure coursing through his body. As Veles turned to look toward Altair, he found himself stumbling back a few steps, eyes widened so that his dilated pupils were even more accentuated, the orange an impossibly thin ring around a pitch-black iris. He grinned from ear to ear and then slapped the Acolyte on the back.

"Goddamn right they are!" he shouted over the booming music. Veles' musical taste had, as always, come through clutch, and it seemed it had provided the crowd around them with a brand new wave of energy to carry them through the night. Kick after kick after kick shook the banquet hall, the floor rumbling as the bass tore deep into their bones. Synths and cymbals coursed in and out through the beat, then paused just for a second before delving into another drop.

People jostled them as they walked among the mass, elbows thrown and knees thrown out from every discernible direction as the ravers danced, but Veles did not even noticed. This was an environment that he'd grown so used to that it simply felt like he was once again home after a long absence.

Altair was clearly high. That was a given, but the Sith Lord had realized that even before the Acolyte had come out of his room. He'd been a teenager, too, once, and though he'd had much more freedom than Altair had, he knew he would have probably pulled the same tricks too if he were in his position. He would have to have a chat with the Tiefling later about the quality of the product he was smoking, because it seemed like the boy was buying overpriced spice that was in heavily laced with colored flour, and no apprentice of his was going to be humiliated in such a way.

The bartender was hard at work slinging bottles around with his hands and the Force, alcohol splashing onto the counter and on the floor, only to be licked up by some of the most inebriated individuals that Veles had seen in his entire life. He yelled out an order and like magic the shots were on the counter and primed for launch in a second. He motioned toward a glass and then picked up the other.

After the shots were downed, he smacked his lips and reached into his pack for another cigarra. It was rolled exclusively out of spice and had been dipped in Wildfire, so it packed a decent punch. He lit it with the tip of his finger, took a few long drags and then handed it to the Acolyte who was definitely not ready for the trip he was about to take.

Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Ashla and her group, his eyes scanning them all from the bar then turning back to Altair, who looked like he'd inhaled the smoke of a burning spice mine on Kessel, then laughed out loud. "You look spectacular," he shouted, giggling even harder. "I told you to wear something nice not just wear something!"

After a long week on Hapes, and longer weeks spent studying drugs across the galaxy to keep up with Darth Veles, Cairo needed to let loose. He had played the serious role too long. He was ready for a party. When Altair texted him about this upcoming Sith party, he thought back to the last one. It was a little tame, but it was fucking sick the whole time. Except for the end, where it wasn't tame and they had to break Ashla out of prison. So maybe not that tame.

But Cairo really wanted to let loose now. The pressures of Sith life continued to consume him. So much so that he had grown from his little marcan herb situation into a real dealer, procuring drugs for himself and Altair. He . He and Altair had coordinated outfits, so Cairo agreed to wear a rave-y outfit to show flex his abs in public and show off his new piercings. His locs, blond dyed and faded as they were, were tied up in a bun that sat squarely atop his head. Him and Altair hadn't really caught up in a while. He hoped to spot the man there.

When he walked in, though, he didn't see Altair. Instead, he saw some of his friends/coworkers/potential rivals(?) in what can best be described as very flattering clothing. Cairo almost forgot Altair in that moment. Almost. Until he saw that Lord Veles was there, too.

Ugh, fuck. Is he like a chaperone or some shit? No, couldn't be - Cairo had watched the man rail spice with a Hutt. That didn't exactly scream chaperone material, but Sith are weird. It wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world if he was just here to party far below his power.

Ah, wait, Cairo remembered. Veles had actually told him about this. Cairo had spaced out because he didn't really pay attention when his superiors spoke to him, but he remembered a conversation about...wildfire? Fantazi mushrooms? Spice? All of the above? But he was supposed to bring some to sell. Test out the product.

Conveniently, Cairo had brought a shit ton for his own person use, having sewn pockets into the back of his vest. Sneaky. Cairo approached Veles and Altair - with a nervous grin on his face. "Bro, did the girls have a dress code that we didn't hear about or something?" He looked to Veles.

"Hey, uh, Lord Veles. You know Altair?"

Vahliri lingered by the entrance for only a few additional moments, watching as a few more people arrived. Clearly Ashla had gone all out on the venue and invitations, and the half-Sephi couldn’t help but wonder just how many people were bound to turn up by end of the night.

The half-Sephi began to gradually weave her way through the crowds that packed inside, attempting to avoid bumping into anyone or having a drink slipped on her dress. She already felt the itch to gravitate towards the dancefloor and let loose, but opted to get a few drinks in her system first - making a beeline towards the open bar.

She wore a pair of earbuds to dampen the music that was thumping through venue, and Vahliri couldn’t help the way her body casually moved - her head bopping and hips swaying ever-so-slightly. As she walked, Vahliri allowed her honeyed gaze to wander around the room. It didn’t take her long to spot a few familiar faces amongst a sea of strangers. She spotted Anai first, taking a moment to look over the Kaleesh and her well-fitting dress. “Anai!” She shouted over the crowds, waving towards the girl. “You look amazing!” She jutted her chin towards the bar. “Come get a drink with me!”

With that, Vahliir continued right along - keeping a steady pace towards the bar. Of course, it didn’t take her much longer to finally spot Altair amongst those who arrived - fixating onto the tiefling moving close behind Lord Veles. The half-Sephi couldn’t help the way her eyes were drawn to his attire, lingering on his muscular torso for far longer than was necessary even as she walked. She felt the compulsion to do a quick once-over of her dress and appearance, reaching up to absent-mindedly play with a strand of her black hair.

She was quickly brought out of her own thoughts as she walked right into the back of a female Pantoran - abruptly bumping into the woman and causing her to lurch forward - spilling a bit of her drink onto the floor. “My bad–” The Pantoran quickly snapped back around, glowering at Vahliri. “Watch where you're going.” She hissed, taking a step forward and towards the half-Sephi.

Vahliri’s eyes narrowed significantly, her fingers twitching ever-so-slightly as she stared at the Pantoran. After a moment the half-Sephi simply pushed right past her, acting as if she hadn’t heard what was said. Of course, Vahliri wasn’t simply going to let things lie with that.

The moment she was a bit further into the crowd, Vahliri glanced back over her shoulder - spotting the same Pantoran. The girl lifted her drink towards her lips to down the rest of what hadn’t spilled onto the ground, and that was precisely when the half-Sephi reached out, the Force flowing from her fingertips. She made the subtlest movement of her hand, causing the Pantoran’s glass to tip far more than intended and the remaining alcohol to come pouring out over the woman’s face and upper torso.

She heard the gasp from the Pantoran, but Vahliri was already gone before anything could be traced back to her - a satisfied smirk tugging at her lips for a moment.

With that, Vahliri finally arrived at the bar - spotting Malou already downing a few shots. The half-Sephi joined her, flashing the champion a bright smile. While they weren’t exactly best friends, they had met at the previous party and worked together back on Hoth. “Hey Malou,” She glanced down to the champion’s dress. “You look stunning.” She said, her smile tugging a bit wider before she flagged down a few shots from the bartender.

Time to get the party started off right.

There was already a buzz in her head, and the half-empty bottle in her hands was already adding to that. Malou was about to head over to the dancefloor to find Ashla when a familiar voice rang out over the bar area. With her drink secured tightly in her hand, Malou squeezed away from the counter to maneuver her way over towards the sound.

"Veles—? Cairo!" Malou interrupted herself when she noticed the Morellian in front of her. What could be seen of her face lit up as she strode forward to reach him just as he said hello to the Sith Lord. She reached out and placed her free hand on his shoulder with a smile. "Hi!" How long had it been since Denon? Far too long, no matter how long. She was very much excited he was here.

Her Sight trailed back over to Veles and Altair. The Tiefling looked completely out of it, but she waved hello to him regardless. "Hey Altair." Then she looked to Veles in his all-black get-up, surprised he'd chosen layers in a room filled with hot, sweaty bodies. He looked good, but how was he not burning up? Before she could stop herself though, Malou blurted out, "Damn, you look hot in that." Red immediately flushed to her cheeks, and she raced to correct herself. "I mean- uh, because it's hot in here! Not that you don't—"

Before Malou could dig herself into a deeper hole, Vahliri appeared from behind her. "Thank you! You look amazing, too," she grinned, eyeing the shorter woman through the Sight as she quickly orientated her boy to face the half-Sephi. The Induparan was really pretty. Malou wondered what color her dress was. Was it a sparkling white, or as red as she was sure her face still was? How long before she could run off to the dancefloor? "That dress suits you so well!"

Speaking of dresses... Malou rolled back her shoulders, tempted to ditch the jacket she'd brought with her already. She lifted the bottle to her mouth, drank the rest, then set it over on the counter just as more shots were being lined out. The Serennian traded her bottle for a shot, threw it back, then disregarded both it and her jacket. The jacket got draped over a bench, probably to be forgotten about.

Jacket now gone, Malou rolled back her shoulders and turned her attention back to the group. Should she ask one of them to dance? And what was Veles smoking?

It didn't take long before Anai noticed a lot of people that she did recognize...Which made sense, the people she hung out with last time did seem like the type of people that wouldn't miss a single party if possible. It made things a little easier for her that she didn't need to blend in with people she didn't know at all.

Now she just had to see who she could talk to first. First she noticed the boys, Altair and captain Cairo, Altair in particular did make her relax and enjoy the party a lot more last time, but the Kaleesh acolyte couldn't help but think she had probably made a terrible impression last time, forcing him to get her out of there in such a hurry and then hitting her head like that...Would probably need a drink first before talking to them, specially since there was a god damn sith lord with them, did sith lords even party? Was he here to punish people if things got out of hand again? She didn't know and she didn't have the courage to find out yet.

She noticed Ashla first, recalling that she was also part of the "got fucked over at the bus party" club, she could probably ask how she was doing. That being said, there was another person she didn't know with her so she would leave them socialize for now, the night was young and she didn't want to interrupt.

Not long after she heard a voice she recognized calling to her, turning her head and smiling at the small half-sephi girl "I-huh...thanks, you too!" Nodding her head after returning the compliment the best she could, Anai followed Vahl, she already had gotten a bottle...But she supposed she could take a couple glasses from the bar while she was at it.

Anai stared at the pantoran woman in silence as she stepped towards the half sephi, ready to backhand her if it was necessary...But she decided to stay put, noticing Vahl reaching into the force to spill her drink and then quickly leaving the scene of the crime with her, a smug grin on her face as she heard the woman freak out.

"Hello Malou" The Kaleesh acolyte waved at her as they reached the bar, using the force to pull an empty glass towards her and filling it with the contents of the stolen bottle "I was told by the doctors after the bus incident that a girl with a blindfold had brought me there so...Thanks, I really appreciate it" The acolyte blurted out as she looked at Malou, she didn't talk to her much last party, but Anai would never forget what she had done for her, it was nice to be around people that actually cared, so she'd make sure to return the favour as soon as she got the chance to do so.

The silent acolyte floated on in- literally- atop his hoverboard, sliding by others in the entrance with a gently thrumming wolololololo. He wore a crop-top outfit that was Sol tested and Aadya approved, at least in the component pieces. A piercing glittered at his navel in the same silver as his earrings, especially noticeable as his waist twisted to maneuver the board. Some thrift store antique ring that matched his slate-blue nail polish rested on his right pointer finger. And, yeah, he brought his goody bag again.

Bedecked as such he hopped off the board once he reached the crowd and stored it in a coat closet already stuffed with random shoes, jackets, bags of probably-illegal things, and a couple playing an especially enthusiastic game of tonsil hockey. Sol waded into the dancing crowd, waving lazily at @Altair Din and @Cairo Kisufi who both seemed to have decided today was abs and chest day. Sol approved. He was pretty sure they were next to Veles. Did they know that guy? Wizard, dude.

Off in the dance floor he got into the rhythm and looked around, chewing a kind of 'special' gum, when a shot glass flew up over his head. Sol hopped up to snatch it out of the air like a game, eyes following where it'd come from. With pep he slipped around some dude openly gawking at Aadya and approached her and Ashla both, casually sliding into their line of sight. He gestured at Ashla's outfit, with the ripped jeans and sparkly top, and offered an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

Aadya got double thumbs because Sol was shamelessly biased toward the one who got him new clothes and also probably 'cause she showed more skin. His hands gestured over his fit with a half-grin and a shrug, dancing through the motions over toward a nearby and familiar-looking Umbaran acolyte from the party bus. Damn near everyone looked amazing at this party, but that one was basically just wearing a glittery bikini and body paint.

Walking around in his old villa Draugr would be checking on the practices of the Nightbrothers and seeing how well they have been doing with their training. Progress was being made everyday. After a couple more years of them training they will be able to perform some magicks not as many or as powerful as the Sisters but enough to show they were more than muscle.

As he was in the middle of the small courtyard they had for gatherings, he received a buzz on his dataphone from 'Ashla :/' and he would looked at what it said. After gettin through a couple acronyms he didn't understand at first he began to understand it was an invitation to a party of sorts.

"Trig, what is a rave?"

---

Hours later he had changed into his best looking "party" outfit so that he could match vibes with the younger crowd. He knew most were going to be around 18 and he was older by a few years. So maybe if he didn't try to be so formal the night won't be as boring. It would also give him a chance to let loose and enjoy the night.

He would arrive on Taris and make his way to the party room of the building that he was directed to. What he found was a large group of people dancing and having a good time. Some against the wall doing nothing but drinking or other things. Some were doing questionable things. Yea, he was in the right place. Making his way in there would be a bar area and he knew he would have to get drunk tonight at the least.

"I want the Rancor Rum... do I look like a joke to you? Give me the damn bottle!"

The Sith Lord would rip it from the man's hands and toss only a couple credits onto the table and walk away. It was time to stand near the edge of the room. Work on the bottle for a little while and see about how he feels toward dancing then. For now he would drink unless asked to dance, then as most do he would accept. As long as they weren't on his bad side.

Altair took the proffered joint, expecting it to be a regular puff of cigarra. He figured Veles thought he was acting cool by offering Altair a chance to smoke. He took a hit and promptly realized it was not, in fact, just a regular cigarra.

“FUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKK!” He bellowed, exploding into a fit of giggles as he glanced up at Veles, “You all right, man, you are allllll riiiiight,” He said, beaming happily at his vampiric Master. He looked over in time to see his bro. He completely missed the vibe where Cairo was attempting to be sneaky. He simply took in sight of the man’s outfit, “AAAAYYYYYY!” He called out cheerfully, looking from Cairo’s outfit to his own. What followed was a series of fist bumps, claps, slaps that made up their obnoxiously long secret greeting. It all culminated with a dramatic chest bump.

“You trippin, man, I told ya Veles was my master!!” He recalled excitedly texting Cairo about it. Wait, if he didn’t text Cairo who the fuck did he text? Unbeknownst to him, he had texted the wrong digits and somewhere across the galaxy Clove Vanhoop (@LilyNion ) randomly got a text from an unknown number screeching excitedly about getting a Master and how ‘shit was gonna get lit with alchemy and shit’ followed by a ridiculously long stream of emojis. Promptly followed by asking where to score some herbs.

Altair threw an arm around Cairo and faced towards Veles, “Meet Veles, the myth, the man, the legend. The hardest fucking Sith Lord in all the galaxy that will fuck you up like Raze does, but also fucking VIBE!” With that, he handed the rolled up joint to Cairo, “I scored the coolest Master ever, yo!” Altair beamed as he threw back a drink, still tripping.

He looked over at the drinks laid out and then back to their stash, then looked at Cairo and Veles, “Y’all thinking what I’m thinking?”

Aadya didn't even question taking the drink from Ashla and downing it in one go. She was used to drinking swill that tasted like gasoline, so whatever fancy shit they had at this place would be a walk in the park. She couldn't help but laugh when Ashla chucked her empty glass behind her head, watching it fly through the air. She expected it to shatter on the ground but instead, some agile person managed to catch it.

Sol!! She shouted, returning the kid's double thumbs up with a hug as she rushed over to greet him, dragging Ashla along with her. I haven't seen you in awhile, She said, letting him out of her hug and eying him over. Your outfit is dope as fuck. Of course it was, she'd bought it for him. Where'd you get your earrings?? Moving on before he could even answer, Aadya pointed at her friend. This is Ashla, by the way.

Looking around, Aadya noticed a few other familiar faces had started to show up. Most noticeably, @Altair Din and @Darth Veles Aadya wasn't really familiar with any of the other people that had started to gather around the bar, but she figured she should at least say hi to those two.

Walking over, Aadya grabbed a drink from a server passing by before squeezing into the bar and shouldering up next to Altair. Why aren't you dancing yet? She asked the Tiefling, running him over and nodding in approval to his outfit. Nice drip, She said, flashing a smile before turning to Veles.

Surprised to see you here, She said jokingly, knocking back her drink and setting the empty glass on the bar where it was promptly refiled. Usually the vampire cosplayers party at Club Red Light a few blocks over.

Turning back to Altair, Aadya would attempt to grab his hand and pull him out onto the dance floor.

Come with me. She said, not really giving him much of a choice in the matter.

As a hardbass song cut in, Veles looked around at all the new faces arriving. Truly everyone had showed up. Then, Altair exploded into a coughing fit, grabbing his attention again. The Dathomirian burst out laughing, the bartender jostled by the sudden noise and almost dropping a bottle of orc liquor directly on Altair's head. Instead, alcohol splashed down onto him, showering the tiefling in some of the strongest liquor the Galaxy had to offer and ensuring that he'll smell like he's hammered. Which, truth be told, wasn't too far from the truth.

Veles' eyes fell on Cairo as he approached through the crowd, amusement coursing through him as he saw the brief look of confusion on the Acolyte's face. There was no space for him to say anything besides "H--" because Altair cut in first, yelling at the top of his lungs. Veles beamed as the apprentice introduced him, and he couldn't help but think about the time he snorted spice in front of Cairo on a Hutt's table. He was certain the Acolyte was thinking about the same thing, and it certainly hadn't been the first time.

As Altair and Cairo entered a flurry of fist bumps, high fives, and claps, Veles turned just in time to see Malou materialize next to him from the crowd. It took him a brief second to check her out, glancing up and down, then back at her face. "Damn, you look hot in that," he, too, blurted out at the same time as her, echoing her word for word. Blood rushed abruptly to his face, making him look like Darth Draugr, tattoos and all. He choked, and Malou turned to greet a remarkably hot half-Sephi, so the Dathomirian angled his body toward Altair and Cairo just as they finished the display and right on time for the Acolyte to introduce him, which caused him to beam with pride.

He grabbed two glasses off the bar and handed one to Cairo so he could down a shot along with him and Altair, and then ordered 3 more rounds. It was best to get them in while there was still alcohol. Aadya--who he'd met a while ago--rushed out from between the people around them and straight toward Altair. "Someone has to chaperone the Acolyte," he replied, snorting another bump of spice as if to emphasize the point. Despite the drinks, he felt more awake now than he had before he arrived.

Aadya grabbed Altair and dragged him away from them, and as they strode away, Veles flashed Altair two thumbs ups. "You got this," he mouthed. Hopefully Aadya didn't notice that the tiefling was so ridiculously high with enough substances in his body to put down a bantha.

He turned toward Cairo, the only person left doing nothing next to him. "That wildfire is going to do him some favors," he shouted, and laughed.

Trace didn't get invitations to parties from Champions very often. Or ever for that matter. She didn't care if the invitation was to basically everyone of note in the Empire, she was counting it as a personal invitation.

She could hear the music pulsing before anything else. It seemed to reverberate in her bones as she arrived and she found herself smiling broadly almost immediately. She wore a very short black skirt as she walked inside, letting herself take it all in. The sounds, the smells, the feel of the place. There were people from across the Empire here tonight, though no one she recognized. Perhaps that meant it was just time to get to know some new people.

It didn't take her long to decide what she wanted to do, which meant now it was only a matter of finding a partner.

She walked through the people, angling after a moment toward one of the people amidst the crowd she could sense was younger.

Amidst the group that she approached one man (@Sreeya) was being dragged off by a woman (@Logan), but she was undeterred. It was all the better an opportunity for her.

I'm Trace, wanna dance? she asked the other one who remained (@Fine Dining Set). It was only as she finished asking that that she realized another person - a Sith Lord (@vamp) she was fairly certain by his presence - had spoken at the exact same moment.

Uh... I'm sorry my lord, I didn't mean to interrupt, she said. And yet, she lingered, still hoping for that dance unless she was directly shooed away.

Alexios had been sent to Taris under light pretext; a simple diplomatic mission with a single, slightly disgruntled noble family. As such, he'd prepared heavily for the free time he'd inevitably be afforded on his own. It had turned out that he hadn't been the only Sith on Taris with plans to have fun, as an invite to a party would ping on his comm in the early evening. He'd been planning on finding a house party to crash, but he abruptly changed them as he slipped into a pair of sneakers.

However, he was left a bit surprised as to what kind of party it was that he'd shown up to. The noble boy looked out in a mixture of shock in excitement as a crowd of tightly packed people danced and moved and smoked and drank like they wouldn't see tomorrow. There wasn't even a band he could toss a mediocre member out of and replace, because it was all coming over loud speakers and a DJ. He looked overdressed next to many of the ravers, even though he was wearing an outfit that'd be casual at most other parties.

The boy was completely out of his element, and yet it didn't stop him from walking in and joining the crowd. He danced for a bit, moving as best he could with the fast paced rhythm, the tempo quicker than most every piece he'd worked on. It wasn't long before he was offered a blunt by a complete stranger, and by the time he reached the bar, the boy was already taking a drag. "Moogan tea." He called, the artsy young aco's tastes still refined (when he wasn't smoking a mystery joint.)

The arrival of a familiar, taller figure drew his attention away from his own arriving drink. He almost immediately recognized the Kaleesh, (@Versok) a smirk slipping across his lips as the taller woman began drinking and chatting with a girl he didn't know. "You never seemed the partying type!" He called, walking beside his fellow acolyte with a welcoming expression. "I'm happy to learn that I was wrong." he went on, before glancing at the girl he'd been speaking to. (@lizziie) She wore a blindfold; an obvious indication of Miralukan heritage. Or she was just blind, he wasn't going to ask.

"Evening!"
He called, smiling at her next. "I know Anai, but I don't think I've met you."
