Now she did let out a sigh because it was obvious that he was purposely hiding the rest of injuries, but if he didn't want to be healed, so should it be. She tried to keep her frustration hidden as she entered the room, making her way over to the cupboards to grab herself something to eat and to drink. The situation was entrenched and unlikely to change anytime soon, so she figured it would be best to just carry on as casually as possible. She had to access the cabinet door right next to him and reached out for it, when their skins suddenly brushed against one another and this familiar, indescribable, prickly warmth spread through her limbs. She immediately shifted her gaze away from him and looked up again, her eyes meeting his.

Ronan froze when her skin met his. She froze too and they locked eyes. On pure instinct, Ronan dipped his head and brought his mouth to hers. She was just as soft as he remembered. If she would kiss him back he would move his arms from the counter and wrap them around her, holding her close to him. There was still some stuff they needed to sort out between them but in this moment he didn't give a shit. He kissed her like he was diseased and she was his only cure.

She knew it would happen right as their skins touched and this familiar, pleasant electricity started to spread. They were right at it again, as though they were two magnets that were always attracting each other mercilessly. It felt amazing and surprisingly right, even if this was everything but right. There was so much left unspoken and yet both of them seemed like they couldn't care less. She deepened the kiss, completely forgetting everything else that had been on her mind. One hand was already in his hairs while the other was wrapped around his back. Why was it so difficult to resist it? There was nothing she could do about it, but somehow this loss of control and wit felt great. They still had various reasons to be mad at each other and apart from that, they both knew that they needed the other one to change, but at the same time the moment seemed perfect again. They were perfect for each other, even though everything was far from perfect.

Like he knew she would, Hailee immediately sank into the kiss. He tightened his grip around her, one hand sliding down her back to rest on her hip. His other hand was tangled in her golden locks, holding her closer to him. Despite the fact that they were fleeing from both the Jedi and the Sith, he felt that in this moment, he was where he was supposed to be.
He pulled his mouth away from hers and trailed kisses across her jaw and down the center of her throat, pausing at her collarbone. His nose brushed the base of her throat. He straightened, until he was looking into her eyes again. "Hailee..." he said softly, his voice husky.

Her eyes were closed and that's why she completely escaped reality in this moment. They were neither on the run, nor a Jedi and a Sith hopelessly in love. They were two lovers in the middle of space, heading towards the unknown. She had literally no idea what was next or what they were doing anyway, but she simply let go of all negative thoughts and sank right into the moment.
He smelled unbelievably good, just like she remembered. There was a certain warmth and familiarity in this kiss and she realized that she had missed him like crazy. All the pain was forgotten, until his lips wandered down her skin and he looked back into her eyes. Even though she got carried away at first, she somehow found her way back into reality and she started to question things again, but when he said her name she couldn't help it anymore. While the questions on her mind had gotten back to her again, they dissolved as quickly as they had started to materialize before and she stopped him right where he was. She wouldn't let him talk right now, because if they would start to talk, the chances were high that they would fight again and she couldn't stand this right now. She knew that it would have been more responsible to face him and start working things out as there were still a thousand uncertainties and problems, but truth was, that she didn't want to be responsible right now. Ronan sank back into the glass, somehow relieved that Hailee hadn't tried to stop it. His left hand wrapped around her upper back and his other hand gripped the back of her knees so that he was carrying her against his chest. He paused kissing her briefly to walk quickly to his larger quarters. He laid her down on the bed and climbed over her, one elbow bracing himself while he resumed kissing her. With his free hand he held her arms above her head and tugged off her shirt.

In contrast to her little cantina adventure this felt right. And real. And that's why she let it happen. She let herself be picked up, feeling completely weightless in his arms. She shut the voices in her head off, even the last one of them and let go again, completely losing herself in the moment. This was neither the time nor the place to doubt anything since their decision had already been made on New Alderaan half a day ago. They had chosen one another. They had chosen to be together and make this work somehow and there was no place of turning back. She didn't even want to turn back, if truth should be told, so she didn't even contemplate whether they should go on.

Ronan had barely taken her shirt off before she had rid him of his. So she was on the same page. Good, because he didn't feel like talking. He just wanted to feel her in his arms. His hands roamed over her bare upper torso. She was so soft and he was incredibly surprised that she wasn't pushing him away. Rather, she was pulling him closer and deepening the kisses. He was so glad to be with her at the moment that he didn't care that there was a war going on.

For a brief moment, the imagine of him with that other woman reappeared in front of her eyes, but once he kissed her again, it was like she could understand him better than yesterday. He had been in immense pain caused by her, and even if this wasn't an excuse at all, she had done the time. She herself had attempted to use someone else to forget the pain and the anger he had caused her. This toxicity had to be overcome once and for all. But for the first time, it seemed like there was actually hope for them. It could finally work, now that there were no responsibilities holding them back anymore.
She couldn't forget it, but she was willing to work on forgiving him, and forgetting all that had been was easy now anyway, since her current emotions were taking over her mind. Not only could Ronan feel her relaxing into his touch, but he could feel her mind relaxing too. He knew the mental walls that he usually kept so sturdy and intact had fallen, like hers. It did not take much effort to see that she felt the same. He could feel how much she wanted him and his already broken heart cracked some more.

She had no idea how things could change so quickly but she would never even dare to complain. Their build up anger was forgotten, just like the pain and the fact that they had hurt each other both mentally and physically not long ago. It didn't matter anymore. None of it. The only thing that mattered were the two of them and how they became one in this exact moment.

She had been longing for him for way too long and they had finally managed to overcome all the distance that had gotten inbetween them. It didn't matter now though. They were reunited and nothing would separate them. Still enjoying his proximity after they were done, she was laying on his bare chest, eyes still closed and completely lost in the moment while her arms were wrapped around him.

Ronan fell asleep with Hailee laying on top of him. When he awoke, she was still asleep, her cheek pressed into his bare chest. They hadn't even bothered with sheets. He didn't know how long they had been asleep, but honestly did not care right now. One hand rested on the arch of her back, and the other cradled her head. For the first time in a long time, Ronan smiled a genuine smile. He felt warm and at peace with the world. He hoped they would spend longer then the three remaining days together once they landed on Lwhekk.

She felt like she had dozed off after a while, but she couldn't tell for sure whether she had been sleeping or whether she had only been in a timeless state, solely enjoying his presence and his warmth. Once she opened her eyes, she peaked up to him, realizing that he was awake. His smile was infectious and she had to admit that he hadn't seen him smile in a while. At least not that genuinely and this made her happy as well. She felt almost drunk right now, her feelings way too intense to describe while she just looked at him for a while, because words would be misplaced right now. She had lost sense of time and that's why she couldn't even tell how long they've been there, but this loss of control felt great.

Ronan's smile did not falter when Hailee opened her eyes and met his. They were silent for a while until Ronan broke it. "This is my first time," he started. Even if Hailee became confused, thinking he meant what they had done, Ronan kept speaking. "My first time in love," He didn't even know what he was saying until the words were out of his mouth, but he knew they were true.

It felt like they needn't waste any words, but when he opened his mouth, she was actually shocked. Not in a negative way though. At first she couldn't believe what he had just said, but the truth was, that she felt just the same. She had never experienced something that intense before, but it just felt amazing. "The truth is...I completely agree. I feel just the same and it's...hard to describe, but maybe we don't have to find words for it" she replied softly, slightly pushing herself upwards to softly give him another kiss. It was crazy. Literally a few hours ago they tried to kill each other, because they were both consumed and blinded by their rage, but the truth was, that they actually had different feelings for each other all along. And now they could finally let them out.

Ronan could not deny the intense relief and happiness that flooded him when Hailee said she felt the same. He felt as if a massive weight had been lifted off his shoulders and so he returned her gentle kiss. His arms were still wrapped around her. They didn't have to get up; there were still three days left of travel and Ronan wasn't hungry right now. He planned on staying right here, with Hailee in his arms, as long as he could.
