I understand, master. Martin lifted up his blade again. Teach me how to use a blade. I beg of you.

He looked at his student and spoke."Follow me please."He headed off towards his own Private training quarters it was filled with books, items of all sorts, and other unimportant stuff towards his student he sat in a meditation state and waited for his student to come forth and ask what he wanted to ask before he moved on to actually training."First is there any questions you would like to ask me about a swordsman?"He said slowly."Or it's art if so ask away."

Martin followed his master into the private training quarters and was amazed by the size of things meant for training there. Then, after listening to what his master had to say, he replied: No, master. I don't have any questions. Let's begin our training.

Martin grabbed the book and frowned. "Read? That's what I've been doing for the past 8 years, and that didn't help me at all." He started thinking. "Oh well, I suppose I should listen to him." He sighed, opened the book and sat down. Alright, master. I shall do as you say and read this book.

A few hours went by until Martin finished the book. I see... He muttered and closed the book. I think I understand somewhat of it now, master. I have to put my soul into the blade. Stay calm. Attack with the desire to kill. And most importantly, use my brain in a battle. What now? Martin asked his master.

Well, there are four basics of sword fighting. Martin began talking. Those are: Breathing, Balance, Timing and Conditioning. Each one matters very much, without them you cannot execute swordsmanship the way it is meant to be executed. Should I go on or have you had enough? Martin asked his master, smiling.

Martin kept smiling. "I like where this is going." He thought to himself and sat down.

Breathing – do you notice that some fighters in the middle of the fight stops breathing incorrectly in the middle of the fight? The reason of this is lack of training and poor concentration. The stress in fighting can really cause less breathing. Since you breathe less, you have poor reactions and very slow thinking. To know the proper breathing, you have to practice the martial art that deals with the issues of depth. You need to know how to breathe while you are under stressed.

Balance – you should need this in a sword fight because you have to exchange forces. You to remain on your feet. You need relax your shoulders. You need to maintain your balance from the beginning of the fight till the end so that you will slip or trip off.

Timing – you need to know when the good timing to attack your opponent is. Your shot will not matter even if it is fast and quick if it is out of timing. It is timing that makes a shot good. Timing is not just about the good shot. It also means your ability to read the moves of your opponent. You have an advanced thinking and keen observation.

Conditioning – this is very important. You should condition yourself before you go on fighting. It means proper aerobics, maintaining endurance, flexibility, and stamina. It does not always follow that best fighters are the strongest and the biggest. It is not about physical shape. There are still other factors like mental attitude and wit.

And that would be all. Straight from the book.

Ok. Martin muttered. "I'll try with a basic cut." He thought and grabbed a nearby blade. The young man then proceeded to attack his master with a vertical cut to the right side of the shoulder than tilts slightly on a diagonal path as it is levered by the left hand.

He blocked the vertical strike, moving side ways over him quickly and appeared behind him."Not bad try faster now, And strike with your best effects, again."He said back up getting distances.

As soon as Sithis moved away, Martin quickly jumped after him, extended his arm, cutting the distance, took the blade into his left arm and attacked with a side cut, as if to cut him in half.

His hand switched the blade's inner core and switched it's positions after that was done he would then block the blade and hold, after that he would kick him if he succeed he would be sent flying few feet away, if he moved his blade then his blade would have been knocked off his hand.
