Abyssm!

The planet most didn't dare tread upon for it's countless dangers; Humongous titanic creatures bent on self-preservation, the eternal storm that constantly plagued the planet endlessly, the waring Sapian tribes across the ever changing environment and terrain, and the four mighty Elder Elementals that controlled the planet's wrath and temperament. Ruus'all had only heard stories, and when he first arrived, he created a book filled with his discoveries that he wanted to get published but he thought he needed to add a little more fluff to his research before getting on a library bookshelf.

Besides being a place of deep interest for Ruus'all Solus, it was the very place where he was going to train both of his apprentices; Jendu Gash, a Duros Ruus found on Cato Nemodia, and Armen Westyll, a human who probably had the cutest dog in the whole freaking galaxy.

Hopefully, Armen didn't bring Beans to such a planet. Some of the beasts here would literally spill the Beans all over the floor and Ruus'all only shivered at the thought.

After coming out of hyperspace, Ruus'all looked back at his two apprentices inside his wonderful green and red coated U-wing, Vendetta III. There lesson would be on the abilities of controlling the elements- and what better place than the hellish elemental shifting planet of Abyssm! Yeah, for most this would be a suicide mission- but in the eyes of the Mando-Jedi, it was going to be one hell of a field trip!

"You two ready?" Ruus called back to the others before taking Vendetta III into the storming atmosphere of the planet they were to begin their first training lesson on. "It's gonna get bumpy- and a little crowded. Once we get through the storm, it'll hopefully be easy flying from there! Just remember, make as little noise as possible. Bug Titans have super acute hearing, and they'll be all over the place where we're going. Any questions before we begin? Good!" Ruus didn't want to give any of them the chance to think they had a choice in whether they could back out or not. So, the three brothers descended into the storming hell-scape, awaiting there hopefully-totally-not-doomed arrival.

This was gonna be so much fun!!!

Jendu couldn't help but feel like he'd been thrown in at the deep end. For some reason he'd assumed he would be doing most of his training back at the Jedi temple on Yavin. He should've known better than to assume his master would have picked the average method of training his apprentices, but this did seem like a pretty big jump from anything he'd done before. Ruus'all's ship descended through the clouds of Abyssm as he explained to them the situation. "Well, uh-" Jendu began to reply before his master abruptly cut off any opportunity for questions.

It occurred to him that Jendu didn't know too much about his fellow padawan, Armen Westyll. In fact, they'd barely met at all. Armen was a couple years younger than Jendu and seemed to have roughly the same amount of experience with things like this as him. At least trying to avoid getting eaten by whatever horrific wildlife this place had would be a good learning experience for the both of them, and hopefully an opportunity to do some bonding too.

Armen wasn’t totally thrilled on beginning his first day of training with Master Solus on a planet that wanted to kill him then eat him. Or eat me then kill me. I hope it’s the first. In truth he hoped he lived to laugh at whatever wrath waited for him below the Vendetta III.

All dangers aside, so far it sounded like Abyssm would be the perfect playground for pyrokinesis. Armen had witnessed that power firsthand in an alleyway while looking for his dog. He would have to tell Jendu that story sometime, after they survived hell.

The pair of Padawans listened together as their captain debriefed them. Armen was as ready as he could be, having brought a backpack packed snug and a packet of edamame beans. Keeping quiet sounded easy enough for a guy that could enjoy going unnoticed.

“Uh, well-” Armen began to reply in unison with his fellow Pad before Ruus cut them off like a blade through walnut pie.

At least his master’s enthusiasm was a good counter to his apprentice’s general lack of it. We’re bonding already. The ship descended, searching for a berth in chaos like a cradle in a storm. Survive together. Set things on fire. Cool beans.

Entering the storming atmosphere was a little bumpy, and the storm was so bad it made the Vendetta III's controls go crazy. For some reason, the computer thought up was down and down was left and right was up and left was up.

So, Ruus'all closed his eyes and focused on the path the Force had laid out for him to follow and guided the ship through the storm, narrowly avoiding scary looking avid monsters and lightning bolts that could shut down a Star Destroyer. The entire planet was so rich with the Force- it was amazing how strong the connection was with the planet. It was part of the reason why Ruus'all had decided to take his apprentices to learn how to use some of the aspects the Force could offer them.

The other two would feel it to- the comfort. The strange sensation that the Light Side filled the trio with. They would never be along, and that promise would never be broken unless one of the brothers decided to sever the connection. Something Ruus's Clan had tried to do to him. He would never ask either of the two to forgo such a valuable ally and gift.

Then, Ruus'all opened his eyes just as they breached the thick storming clouds to see an arid desert below them with strang mountainous spires and mounds that Ruus had to swerve out of the way of to avoid.

"Welcome to Hell, boys!" Ruus chuckled as he continued forward towards a twin river that was a ways out in the distance.
