The Sith hadn't made it this far without being killed because of his incompetence or his inability to fight. His blade was batted aside, and he was already repositioning. He used the momentum of her punching deflection and added it to his own as he leapt backward and to the side, her follow-up swipe passing so close to him that it singed the edge of his cloak that hadn't yet cleared the swing zone.
His left hand thrust outward, emitting energy from his hand in the form of a push designed to send her hurdling backwards and into the far wall.
Vanya, was having slightly more luck if only because her opponents were not Force-users themselves and thus lacked much of the speed or skill of the opponent her partner was facing.
The cultist who had just come for her moments earlier came for her again, but this time she was ready. She reached out to the Essence and yanked the rear cultists forward so that he slammed into his partner.
Then, with a single motion and no hesitation, she lashed out with the butt-point of her spear and let the Essence flow through her, suffusing her body. The spear tip passed through both men cleanly, leaving them to fall to the ground... alive for the moment, but badly wounded.
They seemed to think better of attacking anymore, and one stumbled for the door while the other just lay there, allowing Vanya to begin focusing on helping her partner with the real threat.
Rair, on your left, she declared, not that her partner needed to be able to see her. That was the beauty of Force Sight as it turned out, but it never hurt to actually give at least the most basic coordination.
