Bob was never one for strategizing in big battles, he was more often used as the instrument of that strategy. Whether that be hunting down officers, disabling equipment in the night, or leading the suicidal charge out of the trenches. Yet through all that, he had survived and picked up a few tips and tricks to go with his old age.

So it was blatantly obvious then, that there would be an attempted attack on the large, expensive and most importantly slow colony ships that had to make several stops along the way to their intended destination.

It was at one of these stops, particularly one situated at an out of the way asteroid belt that Bob expected these supposed pirates to make their move. The detail surrounding the colony ships were hopefully more than enough to defend them, but just to be safe, most of the colony equipment was distributed throughout the fleet so that if one of the ships were indeed captured or destroyed, it wouldn't be a mission ending failure.

Bob lumbered ponderously throughout the one ship that most obviously held the sleeping colonists. It was obvious of course, because much like Bob, it was very round and very large. They were approaching the asteroid stop soon, and while Bob was confident they could fight off any opposition, it was still possible for the pirates to try and sneak in and hijack the main colony ship with all the people, so he and his friends were here to stop them.

Sarla was in her private chambers, which was a privilege for her, due to her position. She was here to help guard the ship, something she found loathsome, to say the least. This was particular beneath her, as they were just civilians, not even from Serenno. So she was holed up in her room, but she had to do the rounds soon. So she started putting her armour on, so to at least look the part, and so no could see the disdain on her face, that she would look at them with.

As she got her armour on she left her room, then two of troops flanked her, as she did the rounds on the ship. She was making the rounds on her deck, she saw these people for what they were rejected, and being sent to colonize a new world for the empire, as they were classed as scum on their homeworld. As she did her rounds, she bumped into @Robert Abbotangelo, he was a sith agent, coming to be noteworthy. Though he must be getting near retirement or at least an office job of some sort. She looked as she came up to him, she removed her helmet and asked him So do you think we actually, get anything happening on this run, or is a waste of time? To be honest she thinks it is a waste time even if they were attacked after all these were the dredges of society.

Bob wandered around the ship, making small talk with the new colonists, greeting them as he would any true Imperial patriot. He felt a sort of camaraderie with the people taking the leap into the great unknown, though that might have just been his old age and inevitable senility catching up with him and making him feel things he didn't really understand.

He caught sight of Sarla marching towards him with the same gravitas as any other Sith. If he was being honest with himself - and he always was except for the times he wasn't - he didn't particularly like the Sith order, but Sarla made him want to give her a big ol' bear hug. Though, that might end in their conversation to fast become a confrontation. "I should hope nothing happens my girl! That would mean our planning was well done and we don't have to spill any blood today." He said happily, meanwhile nodding to the girl as well as the two troops accompanying her.

"But we are here if anything does happen, and even if it doesn't we can simply have a few days of vacation on these magnificent vessels." Bob said with a face splitting grin, gesturing around to the expansive ship they found themselves on. Almost as if divinely, alarms began blaring, making Bob huff in ironic amusement while giving the girl a knowing look. "Looks like you got your wish girly! Hope your ready!" Bob finished, meanwhile adjusting his armor into something a little more comfortable before checking his rifle.

I guess I have got my wish unless it is a false alarm. She actually hoped it was not, as she was bored, and there was nothing on this ship worth her attention. She then asked I don't suppose you know where the alarm wanted us to go? Also she had so far, was the alarm had gone off. Then the announcement came over her coms link, the ship was being boarded. This was no doubt pirates or slavers, as people were worth money on the open market. Though these dregs deserved it, they were imperial citizens, and she had to protect them, apparently. She headed to the upper deck, as this was where the breach was. She moved quickly as she could, no doubt @Robert Abbotangelo would follow eventually. That guy was old, he needs to retire at some point or at least a desk job. She hoped his aim was not off, as old people site go.

As she got there, she could see the metal being cut by them, they would be in soon. How many she did not know, but they would be in soon enough.

The ship rumbled and lights flickered as the pirates made their presences known to the unfortunate occupants. Bob wasn't exactly happy with this sudden arrangement, he never felt like getting spaced would be a particularly fun way to die. Nope, he would much rather go out surrounded by his family and drinking until a hearty heart attack.

But, he was here now, so best make the best of it. He followed the Sith with a jolly gait, allowing the woman with a laser sword that could reflect blaster bolts to take the lead as he adjusted his gloves and grabbed his repeater. The ship shook again, though it wasn't clear if it was because they were taking damage or because of some other unfortunate circumstance they had found themselves in.

As Bobby A was considering the particulars of their situation, the cause of the shaky ship became apparent, as a spike appeared in the hull of the ship, before slowly and gratingly widening to reveal a pod filled with angry and generally reprehensible riff raff. Bob was several steps behind Sarla, and the spike had drilled itself in between them. They could get to one another, it would just take some wriggling through the strange pod thing in order to pass through. Before that though, they had to deal with the unwanted guests.

With the mighty war cry, fit for kings and warlords alike - definitely not startled old men - Bob yelled out "Balls!" Before hefting his repeater and spraying down the first two pirates that attempted to crawl their way out towards him.
