Samar was now running in the suspected path of the Twi'lek girl. She then noticed that the path got a lot bigger and thought A pack of bomas. Following the large path she saw a chunk of the woods on fire and wondered how that could of happened. Not having much choice she quickly rushed threw the fire.
I thought it was hot enough in here she thought referring to her suit. she then saw them, about 12 to 16 bomas where surrounding someone but she couldn't make it out on the count of smoke and fire. Samar did what any good Samaritan would do... Randomly fire in the group of Really big and mean Bad thingies and hope she doesn't hit the humanoid. She managed to shoot about 3 of them but that caused them to charge at her.

Gunfire... Blake thought. He could hear gunfire in the far distance. What the hell's going on?

He grabbed his blaster and kept it close to him, just in case. Something was not right here, it sounded like a war was going on up ahead. If it wasn't too dark, he would get up and scout ahead to see what was going on.

He sat there, with his back leaning against the huge stone. He did not make a sound and his heart was beating fast. He was a little bit nervous, as he could not see who or what was coming his way.

Then suddenly a roar and a Boma appeared only a few steps away from him.

"Holy shit!" Blake shouted and he immediately aimed his rifle and pulled the trigger as many times as he could. The Boma was hit by the bolts many times but managed to come closer. However, just before it reached Blake it died and its huge body smacked onto the ground.

"Great..." Blake mumbled, still aiming his blaster and still sitting on the ground. He did not have the time to get up while firing the bolts.

He then stood up, figuring that if there were more of these nasty creatures, his best option would be running. He was not afraid of death, but he did not want to die between the jaws of a stinky ugly creature such as a Boma.

He took his pack, which he had put on the ground next to him, and swung it around his left shoulder. He quickly grabbed his flash light and checked if the medicine was still there. It was.

Looking into the direction where the sounds came from, Blake still wondered what was going on. He would find out eventually and made himself ready to shoot, if necessary.

Gonna be a long... long night... he thought to himself.

Evie felt the warm smack of blood hit her face as the Boma- mere inches from claiming her life, fell dead.

She lay with her weapon across her chest and let her head fall to the side where an armored woman with an arm cannon stood, blind firing with success into the mob of attackers. Pulling back her legs from the rancid, burning corpse she spread them apart as another sought to smash her with its paw.

She was in a bad position- on the floor surrounded by beast who sought to trample and maim her.

Pulling the only flash grenade on hand she had hidden in the collar of her shirt she tossed it into the air and beast’ eye level, scurrying with her own gaze averted as they recoiled with confusion.

Bolted from their ranks but spun as another charged, barley missing her by inches- its after lash of wind sending her auburn tresses wild with life.

---------------------

Ashes panted, her heart begged for her legs to cease moving but she would not relent. A light in the distance beckoned her and when she reached it she nearly collapsed when she found a human man as its source.

He had the dangerous undomesticated look of a wolf about him. His hair was to his shoulders and ebony, his eyes were dark and keen and his skin was tan from the sun. He was clad in leather.

Ashes’ heart worked over time at the sight. She shut her mouth and breathed through her nose. When she saw that he was defending appeared to be medicine she gave a little gasp of realization.

She wasn’t certain of the whole predicament her master was in but her young mind could grasp that it had to do with the sick people back in the village and medicine.

Medicine was a basic word most everyone knew…

“Watchanel!” She said pleadingly.

It was so hard to portray when you needed help and no one could understand you.

Ashes had only been spared from the Boma because of her dark color, it made her nearly invisible in the dark of the night.

“Watchanel Narsu!” she tugged on it coat and turned in the direction of the burning woods.

Having just scattered the herd of Bomas, Samar noticed that one of them was charging at her. When it got close enough she elbowed it on the neck and, with her arm cannon, smacked it's face rendering it unconscious.
Samar then turned to the humanoid who she just rescued and noticed something in it's hand. Noticing exactly what it was she quickly turned off her helmet's view screen so it wouldn't burn out. having sound as the only seance to guide her, she waited till she heard the grenade go off. when Samar final heard the explosion of the flash grenade she turned her view screen. "Omph" she said when a dazed boma stumbled sideways and knocked her over from behind. Her face hit a rock which made a large crack on her view screen. Good thing it didn't break the software she thought.

Blake quickly turned around as somebody pulled his jacket. He turned to see and saw a little twi'lek girl.

"What?" he said. He did not understand her language. "I'm sorry, little one." he said.

He then looked over to the woods and raised an eyebrow. "Holy crap!" he said as he saw the burning woods.

Blake kneeled down to face the girl and said: "Look, I dunno if ye understand this, but we'd best stay here and wait for this all to stop. We're saver here than there. Do you understand?"

Ashes shook her head and continued to pull The man in the direction of the woods.

“Watchanel!” she repeated forcefully.

--------------------

Evie Let out a roar of bloodlust as she slit the throat of a Boma, weakened by burns- its brother tore her sleeve in four ugly slashes as if trying to avenge its comrade when it too fell by its own injuries.

Evie Turned tail and fled into the rocky scape, turning and blasting away at followers as she went.

The Precious Pride landed in one of the many hangers dotting the surface of Iziz. Ares tepped out into the warm sunlight, shielded from it by his armor. He waited for Shawn to exit his craft before powering up the security shield.

" Come on. I have the coordinates of the drop off location the caravan gave us for when they arrived with Stasha. We should run into someone who can help us there. " Ares said as he walked. He was hlaf talking into the comm link he shared with Shawn, and half through normal audio. The hanger was loud, and he was forced to amplify his voice.

The bounty hunter almost completely dissapeared into a croud of people right outside the hanger, but waited somewhere in the middle for Shawn to follow.

Shawn exited fully equiped in his armor and gear with a surival bag on his shoulder following Ares, "I'm right behind you Boss lead on." the wait of the equipment took him back to when he was in the republic millitary. when he caught up to Ares in the middle of the group, he asked Ares, "you really think they are there, again they could just be a little behind schedual."

" I'm not worried about them being there or not. I'm owrried if Stasha is still with them. The report said they had an attack, some people went missing. Its what we're here to find out." Ares said as hecontinued on through the masses of sentients that made up the populous of Iziz.

When they finally arrived, Ares saw that the caravan had indeed arrived, and that for the most part, it looked undamaged. The bounty hunter approached several people, looking for the one in charge. Unfortunantly though, he was unable to locate said individual. He hoped they he would find them soon, or that they would find him...

Roh was haunted by the loss of his comrades. He was lucky to count himself amongst the survivors of the attack days before but one name had been on his lips since then.

Stasha Evie.

He was pained by the small memories of her and longed to leave them in the river where she had disappeared.

They had recovered nearly everyone from the water’s hungry clutches the night of the raid dead or alive,

save for the beautiful Zabrak woman with the golden eyes and her young ward.

He bid each member of the caravan a solemn goodbye with a simple nod. They were all lurking in gloom- mourning loses and picking up the pieces of their lives-none had expected such dangers when they first departed.

The casualties were minimal but no one considered that a blessing when they had expected none.

He stayed with his arms crossed until an armored man and a younger red head approached looking lost.
Roh was a quiet man, but he suddenly felt eager to speak. They had the same foreign air about them Evie had. Something dangerous and exciting…

“Hunters!” He called, dropping his muscular arms to his side and hailing them with one sun tanned hand.

Ares motioned to Shawn to look at the muscular zabrak by smacking him with the back of his hand on the young hunters chest and pointing towards the man bekoning them. The man looked like he was in charge, having a commanding feel to him. He decided he warrented a talk with, so Ares walked over to the zabrak.

" Hello there sir. We are from the Bounty Hunter's Guild. We are interested in the whereabouts of one of our members. A miss Stasha Evie. Records say she was in your caravan."

Shawn felt the smack and almost complained but just followed Ares as he interviewed the person in question.

Roh threw back his head and sucked in his lips.
He was both thankful and reluctant the men had ties with his missing comrade.

“She was with us.” he said with a soft accent rolling along his husky voice.

The tangle of his dark hair around his formidable horns blew in the wind and he leaned back to them with a look of despair.

“We lost her in the mountains. There was an attack. She and her twi’lek weren’t accounted for.” he looked away for a time then added.

“I searched myself…”

Ares looked at Shawn then back at the Zabrak. He was suprised to hear that she was accompanied by a twi'lek. He put that information in the back of his head for future use.

" Can you give me the coordinates for the location where you lost her? "

“Certainly” said Roh.

He wanted Stasha to be found. The thought of her being wasted within the watery grave irked him to his soul.

He gave the coordinates over to the armored man as exact as he could then said:

“I hope you find her- She’s a good woman.”

------------------------

Evie Fell to the floor as a Boma caught her ankle. She Wished it well in hell then shot off half its jaw before continuing with a stumble on into the rocky scape. Its mangled mouth seeped and it followed at a slower pace.

They wouldn’t quit. The disease had drained them of all instinct aside from killing.

Evie’s brow leaked with a small but steady steam of sanguine down her small, delicately upturned nose.

“Damn all of it!” She growled and made a sharp turn to face her enemies.

She gritted her teeth and faltered when she noticed with alarm that for the first time…

Her trigger arm trembled.

Not just trembled-

Quaked.

She had begun to feel the Effects of the illness all too soon.

"Alright, alright. Take it easy, little one." Blake said. Obviously she wanted him to check over at the woods.

He grabbed his blaster and said. "Alright, let's have a look. Stay behind me."

Blake walked towards the woods, assuming the girl would follow and stayed behind him. When he got there he saw a young female trying to fight off a group of Boma's.

"Crap..." Blake mumbled. He put the pack with the medicine in it on the ground and pulled out Suu's gun. With both guns in his hands he shouted: "Oi! You there!" to the girl. "Get down, I'm gonna kill off some Boma's!" his voice sounded angry.

He then pulled the triggers and did not stop until he shot them. His eyes were set to kill and he felt the hatred for these creatures. They had killed his comrade and he wanted them all dead. He fired shots, a rain of blaster bolts.

After the rain of fire the ground was covered with blood and Boma corpses. He then put his own blaster back in the holster and held up Suu's rifle. He grabbed the pack with the medicine and ran over to the female who lay on the ground.

"Hey!" he said as he knelt down. "What happened? Are you wounded?"

Shawn let out a small laugh as the man said that Stasha was a good woman, but then clamed up really quick. "We should take the ship to the coordinates it would take to long on foot to get there, Also we may need the fire power if the wild life is anything like what I readed in the republic field manual."

Shots rang out and the Zabrak dropped to the floor as the Boma were cut down with dual pistols.
The rest were to preoccupied with the flames or too distant to worry about.

Evie stood to meet her savior with narrow eyes racked with agony. She held her left forearm until the quivering subsided and wiped her mouth with a gloved hand. She said nothing until Ashes peered out form behind the human.

She smirked.

Evie was a painfully beautiful woman but as she tossed back a lock of blood soaked hair and her eyes shone like fire in the heat’s reflection …

She looked more at home amongst the beast then ever within a flock of humanoids.

She strode past the handsome human but kept her eyes on him urgently.

“Lets put some distance between our selves and this hell hole!” she called.

"My idea." Blake responded.

He quickly turned around and looked at the little twi'lek girl. "I suppose she's with you." he said. "If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have come to check things out. Let's go."

He then walked back into the direction where the big rock was.

"Follow me, I know a... saver, place."

When they reached the rock Blake quickly opened up his pack and took out his medpack. "Now tell, are you hurt or wounded? If so, where? I've got a medpack here and I can treat you. Or you can do it yourself if you prefer that." he did not say anything about the medicine he kept in his pack.

Evie caught her breath and greedily seized the med pack from the human man’s hands.

She had slashes tearing her body suit to shreds across her breast and stomach- it was enough to keep her clothed- as scantily as it may have been , but the small red lines of blood stung when the wind touched them.

Leaning against the rock wall the Zabrak inhaled deeply and tied back her hair, holding her soiled Vibro blade between her lips.

When she spat it back into her hands she turned back to her companion and looked him up and down before letting her attention fall on the slave.

“Tail-head’s mine.” She said.

She then extended a bloodied hand before rethinking and wiping it off on her thigh before making the offer again.

“Evie.” She said, licking the corner of her lips habitually.
