Yes Stormtroopers are used by the Empire. For information you can look here. Also Black Noise is the head of the Stormtrooper Corps, so you can talk to him if you need.

And as far as I know, the Empire uses force sensitives through the Sith.

As I understand it, stormtroopers are an elite fighting force within the Empire. For more information you should talk to Sreeya or Rom, the Sith/Empire faction leaders.

After seeing your post in that thread about looking for Padawans, in case you want to wait a bit, my character Cotan should (hopefully) become a Knight once he escapes from Sith custody, and will be looking for a Padawan. And hey, even if he doesn't become a Knight after his escape, he'll at least be able to help out and make some friends, finally. =D

Sorry was bogged down with rl crap over the last couple days. Hmm trying to think of a good place to start thats being used right now in our time frame, maybe nal hutta? Its obviously hutt space but it would be an interesting place for two strangers kinda stranded and looking to get off would make sense.

Hey there! Alright so i checked out your characters bio (which is pretty awesome btw) and i think Terrik and Laya would make an awesome pair for a thread. Just to throw it out there, im no longer really in need of going to Corellia specifically. Rather just looking for a thread to do with someone to get things for my character started. He is going to be trying to join the Rebellion, which will make it interesting considering the Rebels and Jedi arent exactly 'friendly' from my understanding. Just hit me back with any ideas or concerns and we can get this thing started shortly :)
