This is how I see it, I'm a big fan of stories, and I don't think her bio should end there and have her just thrown in there. So, my concept, is, going on the last statement of her bio, she is in search of the Jedi. So like her, I have no idea where to look for them in writing. What I would like, is a planet that is not specific to the Jedi. Laya has perhaps landed at this place to fix something, think of her little ship as a bit of a junker, she often hits the control panel to get it going again.

She could be in a bar for example, your guy might approach her, and ask if that piece of crap in the landing field is hers and we take it from there. What do you think? :D

It's a 2 seater, I should have put that in my bio for her, the pic I mean. She has a droid as well, a very very old R2 model she calls 'Blue'
