Fy'll have just missed the announcement simply because he's a recluse and keeps those under him busy with either work or insults to prevent them from gossiping, which also keeps him from learning about it. (Otherwise known as I didn't get onboard until it was too late) If there's a chance for him to show up like you guys radio for help or something similar, he'll respond. Believe it or not, I think that Seb is Fy's closest friend. They can insult/talk about each other all day and they don't really get angry and they've worked together enough to work up some form of bond.

I would say he could become an asshat, but there's only enough room for one of those. I look forward to seeing him progress, however.

Fy can provide antibiotics (by this point in his career, he'll have a ton of resources at his disposal) and can subdue symptoms with the help of a few others (NPCs). Sebastian would have to be quarantined, of course, and Fy'd do numerous tests in hopes that a cure (or vaccine if a cure isn't possible). In typical Fy fashion, he'll be using the vaccine to barter with the Council to get a team together to rescue Della.

As far as the duel goes, the Rho-Fy fight directly caused Della's self-exile, and it also activated Fy's disease. The culmination of everything falling apart at once caused him to become a douchenozzle.

I just saw what happened to Sebastian in the Ravenous thread. If Sebastian can't fight through it/succumbs to the virus, would you mind if Fy uses him to begin the research behind the condition (any DNA mutations, a full list of symptoms/impacts of the disease, etc)?

Not only is it the first thing I thought to do (which, when I'm in the Fy state of mind, is generally what he would do), it leads to more Fy dickishness later, most likely in the form of armed robbery and grand theft spaceship. While typing this up, I had the image of Fy pulling a stolen slugthrower on some pilot and kicking him off the ship. His face would be covered, of course, but the image is still quite funny.

How vital is the ship? Fy can get them there quickly, but the result is no more ship after it falls apart in reentry, with the ship actually crashing into Pelek Baw. On the other hand, he can push it slightly and speed up the journey (nearly cutting the travel time in half, 55-65% as opposed to 100%) and hold the ship together, though Fy'll be fatigued from holding it together unless everyone chips in and channels their energy through him.

Basically, no-ship but quick trip OR ship but slower and a bit of fatigue. Make your choice. Live or die.
