After the Senate thread, people really can't say that this is unfair. We have all the intel we need to launch an attack, and whatever Tarus posted, the Republic already knows where you are. If someone lied OOC, I'm sorry, but that was not me.

Honestly, Tarus just posted the whole "hey look, we found you guys lol" opening to the thread. It was a chance for his character to look all BA, and I won't begrudge him that.

So guys, I really think you should calm down. What set up Ando for attack was a lot more obvious than the Senate attack, seeing as several key Bogan betrayed you guys to the Jedi.

Agreed, it's not unfair at all. The only objection I've brought up is so much happening in one post, things that can be defended against - unlike Santoro's attack.

My question wasn't addressed - Is Alice on Ando? Or is she still technically off planet since she was on a mission? It's somewhat important for my inclusion to this thread, as I need to know if I'm posting as a Bogan on the planet, or a Bogan arriving back to Ando Prime in her stealth ship and going, "omg, wtf, why are there Republic ships and Jedi presences (sensed through the Force, of course) here? CALL THE HUTTS NOA!"
:CHappy

Sorry, missed this.

Since your name wasn't on the list, assume you completed the mission, were previously recalled, and are now at Conscio.

That's the second time you've referenced the Sound threads talking about these. The Sound threads were discussed by all parties and well known ahead of time. Let's stop pretending like it was some massive cheat, because I did everything I could to make it happen while pissing off the least amount of people.

Ah, you seem to be right about that OOC drama. It really does follow you! Seriously, Sounds of Success was amazingly well planned out and executed, yet instead of admiring the obvious thought and effort put into it people are bitching about it. A little drama here, a few snide comments here, and a facetious remark there, and we have kindergardeners pushing each other around when the teacher isn't looking. Why is there so much OOC bitching over IC events? Sometimes I wish we could turn the OOC boards off for a month just to see where it gets us. Have the admins erase any and all OOC comments in the threads and rofl our asses off as everything either goes to hell or is finished twice as quickly. Would be interesting to say the least.

Perhaps I was misleading in my statements previously. I in no way meant to sound antagonizing or accusatory, was just trying to get my facts straight, since I didn't really know that much about IC-known-information. Also, the quotation marks I used in reference to Sreeya's post was just explaining how I personally interpreted what she said, more meaning to just point out that the way she responded made it seem like that was her intent.

As far as the issue with the attack being made, my only concern is that it's -conveniently- happening at the same time as Tarus's post. I would think it's assumed that all factions are "planning an attack on the other faction," so saying that "we've been thinking of it for months" isn't exactly a... concrete explanation. Like someone else mentioned, you've waited months already, I'm sure a week, or even a few days, wouldn't have been too much of a problem. However, there's been no ruling against it, and I don't have so much of a problem with it because at least it's able to be realistically defended against.

@Bac: I assumed that Alice would be returned to Ando Prime, as her master is Katarn, and she was listed as still on that world. Would Alice still be at Conscio, or would it be acceptable to say that she wanted to stay with her Master (Katarn)? If possible, I'd like to participate in the defense of Ando Prime, if you'll allow it.

We didn't just say we were 'thinking of it for months', we actually rp'd things out to lead to this during those months so we could afford to do this. We don't 'wait around' for the hell of waiting around. : P

I was bringing up the sounds of success not to say it was retarded, but to compare people whining about this to their whining about sounds of success. Both threads had a lead in, were planned in advance, and neither one should have gotten the level of OOC complaining that they did.

Sorry Santaro, I was just saying that if something as unpleasant for the Republic as SoS can go through, then I didn't see any reason that something unpleasant for the Bogan couldn't go through, just because people didn't like it.

And I am not on the list because?

and I am on the list because?

I had every intention to be off planet during this T_T, I even got a cool mission lined up and everything.

Because we had no choice? No one got a chance to volunteer to join in or not, it was a order from the Bogan.

OK, since your master is there, then that makes sense for you to be there. I'll admit that I forgot about Crusader/Master training when coming up with the list and, when it came to the master part of the list (where I said you go where your master is), I mistakenly only took into account acolytes. If anyone else has that problem, let me know.

I'd say you should already be on Ando Prime, though, unless you have an objection to that.

Per Radz. You're part of a faction whose IC ruler is an absolute ruler. He made a decree, it is what it is. In hindsight, had I known an attack was coming, I wouldn't have made that decree, but it is what it is. If you're on the list you're on the list and that means you have to be on Ando Prime during this unless you got clearance beforehand or can show me that you were realistically off-world at the time.

How are the remaining Bogan forces suppose to escape or does that mean everyone on the list is to be slaughtered (since i gathered that the reps arent taking prisoners)?

This is relevant, and I've already brought it up in the OOC thread, but I'll bring it up here, too.

Weiss, how are you on Ando Prime? You're not listed.

That's what RPing determines. How you RP in the battle determines what happens to your character in the battle. You could find a way to escape, you could hide in the mountains, etc. Don't assume it's taking a ship and flying away vs. dying; your imagination determines your character's fate.

Such is true in any battle.

I'll add that taking a ship and TRYING to fly away is a VERY bad idea.:CScool

EDIT: Unless you can outsmart bullet. In which case go for it.

Why can't you just tell them they're doomed. Stop sugar coating their DOOOOOOM.
