In all seriousness though, cool post - but I agree with the others. Why invade when there's already someone investigating? Why attack when you already promised otherwise OOC?

My Acolyte is being trained by Keinushi, but she was on a mission on Tatooine when this list went up. Is she considered to be off-planet, or is the mission just a side thing?

I don't really see how you can be mistakend. Brandon posted in this thread that he would be assured there would be no assault. Then again why else put down planetary defenses. If it comes down that we have to defend then ph well.

I thought I could be mistaken because I /really/ didn't expect they would lie OOCly then use someones trust against them like that(it's not like a IC lie). If DSS did that, I could see HUGE drama following suit. Just seemed...wrong...like I am missing something here?

I just wanna know how IC, nobody knows if the Bogan are on Ando, so they send Master Haar to scout, and the next thing you know the Republic is invading. Its like they sent Haar as a distraction, just to sneak attack.

We CLEARLY know where the Bogan are OOC. But not IC.

They knew about the Bogan, but they can't 100% know ICly so they sent him to scout. Apparently the republic doesn't need to 100% know in order to attack. [ST]I hope Haar gets blown up well they invade.[/ST] I'll sit back and see how this plays out.

I know they know about the Bogan. They just don't know 100% WHERE they are. But all of a sudden they have a Commando infiltrating their base like they knew all along.

I think they just wanted an excuse to blow something up

FYI: I wasn't aware of the plan to assault Ando Prime when I posted "Into the Abyss."

In my opinion the invasion should of took place after Haar scouted. Like, he had the fleet on standby just in case it was indeed the Bogan lair.

Since the Bogan and Hutts are in a treaty, if you manage to fire off a distress call I can have a couple battlegroups there (give or take some time for hyperspace and reaction time). It couldn't be much since the Hutts have their own borders to watch, but a few heavy lines is nothing to sneeze at.

I just want to know what is up first. I'm down with an invasion but this is a little iffy to me.

The Jedi know exactly where the Bogan are IC.

The former High Lady, not Em, but Nexus' character as well as Caed Ultor both told the Jedi that the Bogan are located on Prime. The whining in this thread isn't really neccesary.

It's not whining. People are confused. I'm confused especially. All I see is one guy slipping and attacking what looked like a small depot. Then stating basically lolugaisrfukd.

Okay some of you guys need to carefully read before throwing a fit. Tarus's post was designed to be a solo scouting mission on the Republic side checking for hostile defenses on Prime (it was already confirmed Bogan were around that area because we killed a Bogan on an Ando moon). This is independent of Lavi's investigation (who decided to do that all on his own). The Prime attack had been planned long before Bac even talked about moving people off Prime, or before its location was ever revealed IC. However, to avoid spamming with rps dedicated to Prime, we decided to use Tarus's investigation as a sort of a preamble that would lead to the attack, so he could call in the forces all in one post instead of us making a whole mess of things to accomplish the same damn thing.
