Bir rose to his feet, bouncing from one to the other, as Jerex made his assessment of the situation they found themselves in. Deep within the tunnel system with no one other than each other and whatever these creatures were. Thinking back to their entrance of the cavern and the vessel they had passed on their way in, the Kel Dor pondered if perhaps their attackers were actually the crew of that ship. That perhaps they too had come here, drawn by the same desires for the secrets that lay deep within, only to be consumed and altered by this otherworldly power that resonated all throughout the structure. Even the Kel Dor knew that if they stayed within for too long that they ran the chances of an identical fate, but he couldn’t care less.
Were they growing near to this source of power? Or were they simply three lost fools playing with abominations in the shadows? There truly was only way to find out. Calling his lightsaber to his hand, the slap of metal on metal signifying it’s arrival, the Kel Dor activated the blade and leered further down the passage.
”Is there even a question, my venerable friend?!” Bir blurted out, though careful for once to keep his volume low. He would not turn to face Jerex nor Asminys but continue staring ahead into the blackness. ”We are Sith! We are not afraid, we are fear itself! We must push on! Push on as far as is required! Yes, yes, deeper into the shadows will we find our fates!” Bir began to cackle softly as he put his feet in motion, hunched forward slightly with his saber raised ahead of him and his senses open and alert for any further dangers he would encounter.
