You misunderstand me. You using NPCs to prep the shuttle for take off is using NPCs to get an advantage in PvP and I did not want that misunderstanding. If you guys are victorious against us in PvP you basically get to handwave killing those dozen mandalorians. Basically I just did not want you to start counting down the hyperspace calculations because I think that counts as using NPCs for advantage in PvP.Sorry but attacking the shuttle, is effectively using them in pvp in my mind. I don't mind a ruling on it. As it your trying to prevent, a fair escape route.
basically i only mentioned the NPCs because it looked like you were using some to make a quick getaway. I just used them so they would neutralize one another and basically become irrelevant for the rest of the thread. They can't be used to get a leg up in PvP and i think that includes hyperspace coordinates unless you are actively on the ship and they are part of your crew. I did not want anyone to worry about npcs and instead focus on the PCs in this thread.
Plus i actually forgot I mentioned my dozen marauders and so wanted them to realistically be doing something and explain why they weren't around in the actual battle.
There's no way the twelve mandos are cutting you off. They don't have power. It's a non issue. If you head to your shuttle right now for example you would just blaze right through them but once you got to the shuttle you would need to start from square one to get away and start the calculations yourselves. You've mentioned your own NPCs so far this thread in a manner that makes me think you are using yours to get an advantage for escaping. If you want to escape you have to do it on your own and not rely on NPCs to do the leg work for you.Just my 2 cents
While I understand continuity and stuff, I think that part is completely irrelevant
That shuttle is our escape for when things go south(Like it kinda is going now but I'll keep my fingers off my keyboard till after everyone's posted) So you are basically completely shutting off our getaway and forcing us to die.
I'm sure you would also have voiced your concerns if the role was reversed and we just cut off your escape unnecessarily.
All I'm saying is that part was a little uncalled for
Like I said, just my 2 cents. Not speaking for everyone here
My response is that you are firing at the South most target, then the North, then the middle, all the while riding your jump boots in an unnatural way, that they were not designed for, not to mention the difficulty of maneuvering with said tech, all the while changing weapons and dodging previous attacks, at a distance.
Had you been jumping vertically and not sliding across a floor in your armor, and also not changing weapons out during the whole process, I don't think I would question your accuracy, but you're not.
just to make it clear @Sabrina Burkhart would have already finished his traversal of distance with his jetpack by the time you reach him.
"As she closed the gap between her, and the mandalorian he was getting his jet pack ready @Burkhart Kelborn, Sabrina noticed her teammate, Q'san, preparing to fire shots at her target also. "
When Qsan moves Burkhart has already stopped and has begun priming his violator.
edit: also you say you throw him up in the air but then ALSO position burkhart between you and Radth? he can't be both so which is it?
@Darasuum I got asked to change it, so I did.
Though if you ever do learn to roller skate, look where you want to go, your body will follow.
@Sabrina can you still make the edit about Burkhart's movement please? He is moving the same time you are moving at the start of your post in your first paragraph. By the time you are out of Reyna's line of sight he will also have stopped moving and his jetpack is inactive. It is shared time so when Q'san starts firing this turn he will not be moving. Burkhart's evasion were from last round when he was using his other weapon.
@Darasuum I am tired and up set rl, you don't want to know. Put edit you like up, and if you can do it soon I will put it in. Though it better disrupt the violator.
I'm sorry that you are stressed about things. I'm just asking for a simple edit. There is no need to make threats either. I'm just trying to avoid confirming things that are breaching reality and get my character killed.
Also there is no need to ping me in discord. I look at the site often enough.
@Darasuum is was not a threat, I was giving you a free hand on an edit. I just want it, knock the violator out of your hand. As that is all I really care about. As I don't want to die yet ether.
It may come across wrong, due to dislexyia and my mood.
I did take advice, and as long as my npcs stayed put, and did that they where fine. Also this a empires station, so your guys are busy, fighting imperial troops
Also the force push happened, while you were in mid air, not while your on the ground.
Also your character weight, is not a defence. As the rules, state character only, nothing about weight
Also and very importantly, there is no force bubble yet. I have prepared one for defence, not actually activated it yet. As that would nullify a lot of it's capabilities on this board.
As said willing to take a ruling on it, as I can't be bothered going in circles.
On any, or all these issues.
@Darasuum
Yeah I can edit that so that it isn't just hand waved. I can even take one of the shots.I don't think you can simply hand-wave shots as inaccurate, when they were aimed specifically at certain targets. If I said it was a spray across the hall, that'd be different, but simply stating the shots fly off course, as he's sliding across a smooth surface. I also said nothing about him bumping violently across the floor, it was described as a smooth surface, and he slid. His use of the jump boots, and heavy armor would have given him a fair enough amount of momentum and stability to keep that from happening. I also seriously doubt, given he pushed off of the wall, while he activated his Jump boots, that Radth will have the time, or the wherewithal to know exactly how Q'san planned to move to plan those shots, let alone fire all five semi-automatic shots with any kind of accuracy at a quickly moving target.
@Nommie @Mad Dog
His weight is a relevant factor and that is why we require it in character profiles. Force tossing a 5’ 90 pound twilek is not the same as force tossing Burkhart.Okay on force push but everything?
Your weight is not a defence?
Your npc actions are, playing a part in pvp
You initiated my, defensive shield.
As me preparing it, and not intating it, can stop a violator but not if it was already up. Then it would break it and kill me.
@Darasuum
@Logan the rules say character, not anything else.
The power of the Force is limitless in its application. Along with the previous abilities discussed, the Force energies can be manipulated into a variety of attacks and defenses. Most notable of these is telekinesis; a basic ability that is taught to novice Force Users from the start of their training with being able to push, pull, levitate, and/or stop objects or people. Users are known to use pushes against opponents or objects in order to clear a path and can result in simple nudges to waves of energy depending on the strength, energy and focus of the user. Pulls may also be used to draw objects to themselves or pulling an opponent closer for a finishing blow, while some darker aspects may include crushing objects or individuals, or pulling a victim apart in opposite directions.
