Glamor.
Excitement.
Fans.
Filming.
This was the life of Claire DeTreece. An up and coming actress, the woman had taken on several significant roles, and had more recently just started filming as the main female character of The Life and Adventures of Luke and Ben Skywalker. Her part was, up to this point, unannounced, an oddity for a film this big. But the woman was very excited, having read the script and started on what would be a very long experience with two of the biggest stars of the day.
This evening, however, and for the weekend, Claire DeTreece was not in District Five of the famous DSC Daedalus. Instead a four-armed Cordu-Ji by the name of Nekala-Mar walked the streets, stimulated by the hundreds and thousands of different smells and lights of the entertainment district. It was no a secret that Claire DeTreece was her real name, but the iconic image of the actress was a two-armed human by that name, nor a four-armed Cordu-Ji.
There were, of course, the occasional double takes as she walked down the busy streets. People who had an eye for the rich and famous, and especially someone as young and beautiful as Claire DeTreece, but more often than not the sight of her second pair of arms turned them around and back on their way. And that was certainly fine with Nekala. She loved the life she lived, and appreciated the attention and affection, but it was nice to be able to get away.
As this was the young woman's second night on the station, she had already visited the more established facilities and institutions. This evening she would be hitting up Club Paradise, certainly the most famous on Daedalus, and one of the more famous on this side of the galaxy. Being admitted almost immediately, the woman went to the bar first, ordering her first drink of the night and surveying the club and bar. Not one to waste time she downed her drink, sliding onto the dance floor and starting to move her body in ways that turned heads immediately.
Heads that would be slapped or otherwise dismissed by their dancing partners.
Oops.
