Glamor.

Excitement.

Fans.

Filming.

This was the life of Claire DeTreece. An up and coming actress, the woman had taken on several significant roles, and had more recently just started filming as the main female character of The Life and Adventures of Luke and Ben Skywalker. Her part was, up to this point, unannounced, an oddity for a film this big. But the woman was very excited, having read the script and started on what would be a very long experience with two of the biggest stars of the day.

This evening, however, and for the weekend, Claire DeTreece was not in District Five of the famous DSC Daedalus. Instead a four-armed Cordu-Ji by the name of Nekala-Mar walked the streets, stimulated by the hundreds and thousands of different smells and lights of the entertainment district. It was no a secret that Claire DeTreece was her real name, but the iconic image of the actress was a two-armed human by that name, nor a four-armed Cordu-Ji.

There were, of course, the occasional double takes as she walked down the busy streets. People who had an eye for the rich and famous, and especially someone as young and beautiful as Claire DeTreece, but more often than not the sight of her second pair of arms turned them around and back on their way. And that was certainly fine with Nekala. She loved the life she lived, and appreciated the attention and affection, but it was nice to be able to get away.

As this was the young woman's second night on the station, she had already visited the more established facilities and institutions. This evening she would be hitting up Club Paradise, certainly the most famous on Daedalus, and one of the more famous on this side of the galaxy. Being admitted almost immediately, the woman went to the bar first, ordering her first drink of the night and surveying the club and bar. Not one to waste time she downed her drink, sliding onto the dance floor and starting to move her body in ways that turned heads immediately.

Heads that would be slapped or otherwise dismissed by their dancing partners.

Oops.

Ryloss loved the crush and scent of a club. He could taste it. And not just figuratively. As a Zeltron, he could sense and change how people felt. More and more were coming onto the dance floor, ad each person spoke of a new thrill.
He'd heard stories of this state. Where you were connected to so many people you started thinking like a hive mind. The lighting removed the red tint from his skin, so people couldn't tell it was the Zeltron that was messing with them.
He had gotten in only because the receptionist/bouncer was female. From the second he'd heard about this place, he wanted to go there. Now seemed a good a time as any. Several females had shown interest, but none of the struck Ryloss as someone he'd want to spend the night with. And it was a valuable night. To him, it was almost worth money, this night. He'd been in clubs before, yes, even good ones, but never one like Club Paradise. It attracted the most interesting individuals. But none were what Ryloss was looking for. He was looking for someone unique, or different. The only other requirements were 'female' and 'human-ish'. He'd tried outside of both of those categories. For the first, it had been unpleasant and he'd ended the engagement before he did anything too uncomfortable for himself.. For the second, the thoughts still scared him.
But he wasn't focusing on those bad, bad memories. He was here to enjoy himself. And he was doing so by looking at a human that stood out from others. At least, she appeared human. He'd made that mistake before. And by looking at her, he'd done it again. But hey, she definitely fit the 'different' category. And so, Ryloss moved closer. He wasn't the only one, though. Using his emotional abilities, he turned them away one by one.
Until he was standing near enough to her to make his presence known, asking an invitation almost. Long dark hair over perfect skin... She was gorgeous. And he was absolutely sure she had four arms, and that it wasn't just the drink getting to him.
"Well hello."
He loved his voice in these situations. Usually, it was raspy and hissy. In these places, it was strong, slightly accented and everything it had once been. He was wearing bright, exuberant colors, the biggest tell of what he really was. The clothing was tight, too. He felt slightly awkward in it, to tell the truth. But when you're at the club, you have to look your best. And this was the closest he could manage.

Her body bounced melodically to the thrumming bass of deafening music. She tossed her silky black hair to and froe with reckless abandon, as curious males inched closer and closer to her undulating body. She pretended like she didn’t notice their looks, but she knew their intentions and felt their hunger stares. Perhaps one of them would get lucky and earn her attention for a couple of songs; just long enough to get a drink or two out of them, before she moved on to the next generous benefactor. But for now she simply closed her eyes, letting the music drive her body. Her greatest love was to allow the music to control her body with an unbridled passion that no one of nothing could match.

There was a change amongst the flashing colored lights. She could feel the sudden shift, as attention slowly ebbed away from her. Her almond shaped eyes shifted to a beautiful woman, about her age, pressed against the bar. The woman had a magnetic charisma in which the whole club seemed to be caught up in. As Mai watched, the woman downed her drink and moved to the dance floor. Men began to flock to the woman, in hopes that they would be chosen; that they would win the hunt.

Mai continued her dance, but she moved closer to this irritatingly attractive woman. She watched, as a man swooped in to introduce himself. It was strange to see the other men retreat as if they knew that they no longer had a chance; now that he had arrived. Who is this man? How do I not know him? And why isn’t he focused on ME? she thought as she moved closer to the duo. She continued to dance moving next to the attractive… four armed?... woman. She brushed lightly against the woman a couple of times, gently challenging the woman to dance with her.

Fang sat a table off to the side of the dance floor in the corner of the room alone, the consistent thumping of the bass playing in his ears, he took a sip from his drink. It was dark in the club, and Fang was not wearing his hood his lightsabers hidden from view in his cloak, on occasion a light would flash in his direction from the dance floor illuminating his face for a brief second before continuing to shine in all directions as predetermined by its programming. Fang was not sure why he was here in this club on the DSC Daedalus, truth be told, Fang often found himself just wandering, walking to where the force might take him. He sat there in that corner, amongst the life around him, hidden in the force, and feeling the life of those around him, the free energy of people who were just cutting loose, and forgetting about the war. A Luxury Fang Seldom experianced.

Fang looked up from his drink at the dance floor infront of him, he noticed what might be the be teh begginings of a mild scene, a four armed woman, a Cordu-Ji from the looks of her, had come on to the floor and started dancing, she was quite good to, she seemed to have attracted teh attention of one man in paticular, a Zeltron who looked as though he was trying to impress her. On the other side of the floor was a human woman, who seemed to have many guys dancing with her, the human woman seemed displeased that the Cordu-Ji was gathering attention and had moved in closer to her.

Fang chuckled and took another sip from his drink, it would probably end up being nothing, but in these times, one could never know.

A dance they wanted?

It would be a dance they got.

The four armed beauty waved her arms, letting loose with the beat. Her hips swaying with the beat, her and shoulders moving together, her long hair moving back and forth, sometimes masking her face. The war was not here. Her job was not here. It was a time to simply let loose and let live. Several of the men started moving toward her, sizing her up, but they became disinterested and moved away.

Normally, Nekala might of noticed. But she didn't tonight. She continued to let her body flow with the beat, lost in the dance. Soon enough a red skinned humanoid moved up towards her, smoothly dancing to the music. He greeted her, but she made no response. She turned only slightly towards him, at least enough to give him the idea he might be dancing with her. It was a game.

It wouldn't last long, however. There was a challenge on the floor. A beautiful woman, also around Nekala-Mar's age, moved towards her. She brushed against Nekala slightly several times, initiating the challenge. unspoken girl code, or something like that. Accepting the girl who was calling her out, Nekala turned full faced towards her. Several people backed off, as if it was a fight, but instead giving the women space enough to dance.

A new song flipped on, and Nekala moved forward. Her body moved and swayed with the beat, her two bottoms arms feeling her body as her upper two were bent, her hands behind her head. Her hips moved magically, and every man felt their breath catch in their throats as she moved with the beat.

Ryloss watched her move through slightly narrowed eyes, a small smile playing at his lips. He danced with her, oh yes. Ryloss began to let pheromones out, made to make him look more appealing to the eyes of females while males suddenly found themselves temporarily unable to perform. It was a nasty mixture, yes, but Ryloss no longer claimed to be nice.
Actions speak louder than words...
The voice came into his head. He'd begun to second-guess himself at every turn, now. Best to ignore it.
Oh shut up, me.
Best, not what he was going to do.

So he played her game, at least, for a short time. Then another woman joined her, and he stopped for a moment, eyes narrowing even further. Then he grinned dangerously when they began to dance. It was mesmerizing, and when the Cordu-Ji began to move... Ryloss' eye were like blue disks, flashing gold in the light. He took a step closer to them, not challenging them, but accepting theirs. He was in the mood for games tonight, but only if they were played by his rules. And his rules said that he wasn't going to back off. He would play them by their games, oh yes. And if he was lucky, he might just beat them at it.
Ah, but all that was for later. For now, he danced. He stayed further away from them then they were to each other, but closer than he had before. Inside touching distance, if they reached. The lights began to strobe along with the music. They would blink out completely for a moment, then certain areas would light up. It was done in a way that no part of the floor was dark for more than two seconds. Ryloss immediately used this to his advantage. He moved when the lights were dark, in such a way that he would be close to them, standing stock still, and then out of reach in a different pose. They would only see him in such a way it was like he was teleporting. But he wasn't. He was simply using the Force to move faster.
They wouldn't know that though.

Mai’s attention focused on the beautiful woman in front of her, as the music changed. Her body moved in an intricate set of polyrhythms. Different sections of her body alternated keeping pace with the throbbing bass, while the others would move in half-time, or even a slow smooth antithesis to the music. It was a complicate series of movements, but Mai had grown up dancing; both classically trained and in the clubs. The petite Imperial used the timing of the lights to emulate her opponent, alternating between the Cordu-Ji’s upper and lower arms.

The man that vied for their attention shifted around them like a ghost, as they danced. His movements were carefully designed to try to ensnare them in his spell. It was the rapture of the music, however, that captivated Mai. She already had what she desired; the attentions of the room – to dance and be observed in the spotlight. The music continued and her eyes fell closed. The enrapturing passion of the song wrapped around her, as sweat began to build on her bare skin. She was pushing her body to its limits; allowing the push and pull of the music to take control.

Something was wrong, now, though.

The hair on Nekala-Mar's arms stood on end as she continued to dance, but slowly started to stop. Her hands came down to her side, as she studied the male that was dancing with her and the other woman. There was something about him that, deep in her stomach, told her that this man was bad. Often Nekala had relied on this basic instinct to lead her out of trouble, out of harms' ways before a wrong person of group of people did something evil.

Now, again, in the pit of her stomach she felt that alarm.

Stark still, she glared at the man, resisting an urge to continue dancing with him. "What are you doing?" she asked, blatently. Her arms started to sway with the music, but she stomped her foot and her hands complied. She continued to glare at the brightly coloured man, ignoring the woman who now lost attention at this conflict.
