Zimlat is unorthodox when it comes to his saber fighting style. This is a result of not only his mild form of muscle mimicking which he uses to learn from those he watches fight. But also since he has a wide variaty of unique light sabers that the normal forms have trouble including.

History

Zimlat comes from what used to be a small township on Kattar. His family and most of the members of this township were all force sensitive and most even used the force on a regular basis. Most members on using the force to heal, this was his townships most common and most revered use of the force. More often than not the members of this community chose not run off and join one of the rival orders and instead stayed home for their own studies of the force.

Zimlat was a young adult still having shown very little control of the force, though this did not mean he could not sense it. No in fact quite the opposite is true, he can feel the force flowing in the world around him and even through himself better than some of the eldest members of his township. Unfortunately though he for some reason is not able to channel it to do his bidding. He had meditated for hours on end and watched the Masters as well as kept up with his studies yet still the force would not respond to him.

The majority of Zimlat's township focused on the healing and other nurturing aspects of the force they were severely unprepared for when the unthinkable happened. During the retreat of the Sith they had landed on Zimlats home world for refuge and they landed just outside the township. Zimlat watched as the few who studied combative force techniques attacked the Sith invaders, who with the advantage of their lightsabers, made short work of the minimal defense. Sensing that his home would soon succumb to the powers of the dark side Zimlat began running to warn the next town to evacuate. Just as he was about to come to the end of the last building in his township a Sith rounded the corner saber drawn, to which Zimlat instinctively responded with a sweeping motion of his hands which caused the Sith to fly through the wall which immediately collapsed down onto him allowing Zimlat to escape.

Not having time to bask in what just happened Zimlat instead changed his route to a town that a Jedi was rumored to live.

PERSONALITY

Zimlat does his best to remove himself from every situation and look at his surrounding situations from an outsider's perspective. This causes him to seem detached and uncaring but often the opposite is true. In his heart he cares about his people in an almost indescribable way, but this passion along with the collapse of his people is what motivates him to become the best Jedi possible so he can destroy the Sith in honor of his people.

Zimlat’s intelligence causes him to be even more disconnected as he becomes lost in thought when not challenged by the surrounding world. His mind is constantly cluttered with thoughts some not necessarily his own. His intelligence also clouds his wisdom as he sometimes confuses the former for the latter. This causes him to come off as unintentionally arrogant occasionally as well as rash in his choices.
