Nar Shaddaa Apartment Block D
1603 Hours, Galactic Standard
Herrith Hendarsin
@Darasuum @One For Sorrow

Herrith looked at the Morellian that they had tied up to a chair in the center of the apartment. The lights were off, save for a lamp painting his face a very pale white and making his hair look redder than it already was. She scoffed, looking to her two companions and then staring out the window. He knew something, he just refused to spill exactly what it was. They'd dragged him all the way to Nar Shaddaa, as there was some kind of hideout he knew about; something her mystery pilot had used.

She needed to know where it was. Maybe this one would contain some better loot.

The Zeltron looked at Tecov and Grim, waiting for them to say anything before the festivities began. This wasn't going to be the most pleasant experience for their guest, and she was paying for this apartment by the hour; as such, it would be great if they had gotten this moving so that she could finally get her two mercs paid. Daesha wasn't here. She had family matters to attend to, anyways. It didn't matter, Herrith thought it best she stayed away from the grit around this interrogation.

She cocked an eyebrow toward their Morellian, whose eyes had been blocked by blacked-out goggles. There was a reason she hired professionals, and it wasn't just because of their good shooting.

Torture wouldn't be necessary, though a wicked part of her wished that were so.

Ew.

If Herrith believed they did not need to use torture that was fine. Tecov knew plenty on how to get people to talk. His experience had been only partially on the books. Some, even when he was in the black operation in the republic over a century ago, had been quite gruesome. The hybrid had learned to resist as well as deal out the painful ways of making one talk. Neither situation really pleased him when it was someone that he had no personal quarrel with.

Walking up to the man he audibly drew a knife from his sheath. While Herrith did not want to torture the man, at least not in word and surface desire level, it did not mean that the Morellian was aware of what was either on or off the table. In this case, he was probably wondering which limb was going to be cut of and sent home to what family he had left. He pressed dragged the knife against a metal plate on his arm repeatedly. It sounded like he was sharpening the knife. He walked slowly in a circle around the man, once, then twice. He could see the sweat begin to glisten out of anxiety on the man. Finally he stopped the noise and the man practically flinched.

He took a silent step forward and then whispered in his ear. "You know what is cliche?" The man let out an eep at the sudden proximity of Tecov's voice. "The whole 'i'm going to ask you once' thing that people do in the holo movies. It's just dumb. For you I won't do that. I'll ask, but with each time I ask I'm going to take something from you. Maybe some skin here, your eye lids, an ear. Whatever I feel like. I'll ask, and I'll ask, and I'll ask. I'm not expecting you to give up right away, the more you don't talk the more I get to dig in. So, for the first question, well, second actually, where is the ship?" He pressed the cold flat side of the blade against the sweaty neck. The man yelped and immediately spilled the beans on its location and all the details. Looked like his skills in fear mongering came in handy.

Grim watched as Tecov got answers immediately, it was impressive really. The Bothan himself had his modified DB-70 out and at the ready, but dropped it to his side as their....guest....gave it all up.

"Aww, now that was no fun."

He chuckled as he holstered the weapon.

"Although...."

He quickly crossed the distance and pressed his gun into the mans chest.

"He could be lyin'."

Grim had absolutely no doubt that the man was telling the truth, he just wanted to.get to be scary too.

Well, that just ruined all the fun about this.

Tecov certainly had some skills, especially with this Morellian that had caused her way too much trouble for his own good. So much for tough smugglers in the galaxy, then. She put a smile on her face while Tecov backed away and Grim immediately cracked a joke. Her gaze returned to the guy sitting in the chair (without a leg, mind you). His expression mirrored that of a Bantha caught in a speeder's lights. Maybe it was because of the bright lamp glaring in his face. Probably not, it was probably the fact that he didn't want to die and was scared out of his pants. Not literally. That's just weird, completely.

Herrith decided to play along with Grim. She shrugged, letting a smile come onto her face as she leaned forward into the light.
"If he is, maybe we can cut out his tongue. Or feed his eyes to the dogs. All these great options."

She stepped back and let the rest of the fun play out as she pulled out her datapad and looked for the location he had spit out. It really wasn't very far from here. An apartment in Section D. Below ground. Sounded a lot like a smuggler hideout now that she thought about it. Probably a bit more obvious than she had thought, but she couldn't really blame herself for going the extra mile and getting the actual location. Well, she didn't do the work. Tecov did, if you could call it that. Great job merc.

Tecov's word was done after this. The woman had her information on the ships she was after and nobody in their own group was killed or even injured on this job. The hybrid mandalorian moved to the back of the room as his employer and the sniper tried their own hand at intimidation for kicks. Tecov had no grudge against the man but was not phased by any damage he would have been willing to do if it had been another person that had hired him. Other people, Hutts, Republicans, many were surprisingly open to torture as a possible resort as long as it got the job done.

Taking out a tabac stick he ignited his pocket lighter. His eyes became unfocused as he thought about the job that was coming to a close. He would be able go get some decent gear after this job. He had told himself to take a break for weeks now. Day after day he had maybe taken an hour off to sulk and drink in silence but that was about it. Ever since he had come out of a coma there was no respite for him. Breathing in the vice on his finger tips he proceeded to exhale, watching the tendrils of smoke curl up towards the stark ceiling overhead.

"We done here?" He asked with a stoic tone as if his speeder had just finished being repaired and he was asking for the receipt. If the woman had the location on her ship and all the details were done then he would think his job was completed and should get paid in turn.

Grim smirked and holstered his weapon once more, backing off from their prisoner, who at this point may have actually soiled himself.

"Heh. And they call me Grim."

He muttered to Herrith while nodding towards Tecov, chuckling slightly at his own really bad joke.

"So I guess that's that eh? Should we off this fella?"

Grim was half joking, but he DID get a kick out of the Morellian's absolute terror.

Herrith turned around as Tecov asked for his credits, very clearly all business at this point. She understood where that was coming from. He had done a damn good job--and that deserved the best she could give at this point. Her smile faded as she nodded, pulling out a small case from below a desk before returning to the mercenary. She handed it over to him with a cock of her head, letting the smile return at Grim's really bad joke.

"Here you are. I appreciate all the work. Maybe we'll meet again sometime, eh? If we're on opposite sides, try not to be as good as a shot toward me, please."

Herrith winked and turned back to the Bothan as the human mercenary did whatever he was going to do next. Her head cocked back to the Morellian as she contemplated what they should do. Killing some dude that inconvenienced her search? Certainly sounded like a plan to her...though she could tell Grim wasn't completely serious in his statement.
"Well, we could...or maybe we could string him up over the balcony, let him hang there for a while until someone helps him out? Even better, see how well he flies."

She checked out the map on her datapad and then shut it off, returning her gaze on their captive.

The man took the credits, looking over them before stashing them away. Making sure they were secure he looked back at the two acquaintances before turning and heading out the door. He did not care what happened to the man. If it were his choice he would have been just as likely to put a blaster bolt in the man's head as let him go. He had certainly done i before. But that was perhaps over estimating the one legged man at this point. The two freelancers would get their jollies off on messing with the man it seemed before eventually letting him go.

Exiting the hideout Tecov pulled out a tin of pre-rolled tabac sticks and lit one up. Enhaling he stood still for a moment, he felt water hit his shoulder, then his head. He really hoped it was water and not some drunk bastard on a balcony or something. But the patter of rain began to increase. He flipped up his collar and began walking back towards his ship. He probably would not see the others any time soon. Still, it could have been worse.
